I was nearby getting my car wash and noticed a sign outside that advertised grilled kebabs, so being hungry and not wanting to cook, I stopped in for a try. The place is not much to look at inside with its banquet tables and chairs( ), but being the fair individual I am, figure it best I try the food and service first, before I make any judgements. I ordered the #4 chicken kebab combo for only $ 7.99, but I asked the gentlemen if I could have one beef and chicken, and he said it was not problem. For $ 7.99, I received all of this!( ) The kebabs came served on a bed of yellow flavorful rice, a side salad, hummus, flat bread, and pickled cabbage and Arabic Tumeric dusted onions. Both kebabs arrived with a great juicy char grilled sear( ), and both inside were flavored with Mediterranean herbs and spices and were very tender.( ) These were great to eat by themselves or with the flat bread. The flat bread was good, but I only wished they warmed it up, rather than serving it cold.( ) The salad was nice and lightly seasoned and dressed and the rice was abundant, arrived steaming hot, and was well prepared.( ) The Hummus was not as creamy as a Greek hummus, but more grainy and with earthy overtones. It was good, and I enjoyed eating it with my meal.( ) I tried a glass of Arabic tea and it was very good. It was harsher than most teas I have tried, but full of good flavors.( ) Although there was a slight language barrier, the individuals who worked here were friendly and eager to know how I enjoyed the food.
