I don’t understand how this place gets any bad reviews. I have been coming here for years and the steak is delicious as is the crab cake. I have never had an issue with the service. Try it before listening to the bad reviews. They also have live music sometimes which is nice to listen to with dinner.

LIBRARYIII — New Jersey 3016 Ocean Heights Ave, Egg Harbor Township, NJ «BESTCRAB-CAKESEVER!» Library III is a restaurant located on a golf course with a beautiful view of the greens and sunset. They had a full bar and a nice outdoor patio. I didn’t expect much since I was used to cheap diners on golf courses but I was unusually impressed with the food here. All dinners come with a salad bar which I took full advantage of. I ordered their crab-cakes and my husband ordered a steak. With the first bite of the crab-cakes, I was impressed. It was the best crab-cakes I’ve ever had in my life. The waitress reassured me it wasn’t loaded with butter but just pure crabs and crackers. It tasted so rich that it was hard to believe. Then I had a bite of my husband’s steak and that too was delicious. Meat was cooked to a perfection and just melted. I would definitely go back here again. YUMMMM!

Tonight’s experience was wonderful! Great service, nice atmosphere, beautiful deck overlooking golf course. The crab cakes got raves, and every single thing we ate was terrific. The deck was closed for a private party when we arrived, but they had live music inside. When the event ended, we enjoyed our entrees on the deck. Came up from Ocean City, and we will be back often.

Surprise, surprise… the restaurant closed down in late October 2015. Disappointing. It’s a shame you don’t have a ZERO(or minus) star rating on Unilocal. I’ve been going there since 1975 and loving it each time. The restaurant was kicked out(?) from the location on the Black Horse Pike(US322) in Egg Harbor Township. It is currently located in a building on a golf course. They moved everything to the new location, including the thick layer(s) of grease that covered the vinyl seats and broken tables in the lounge. Now it’s a far, far cry from what this restaurant used to be. It is no longer worthy of a visit. At the original location, we used to enjoy the fantastic roast beef au jus sandwich on a kaiser roll with a loaded baked potato. We tried this a few months after they moved and found the roast beef almost inedible. We came back a year later, this time it was even worse than before. We complained to the management, and they offered something else to eat. They also said that had previous complaints for the same item. That’s it… they are history… officially.

If I could give this restaurant a zero rating I would. Went here for Mother’s Day dinner and it took three hours. The food was subpar the prices were astronomical and the service was terrible. Took them half an hour just to get us our check because they lost it. That will definitely be a meal that I will never forget.

Ate here with my wife after learning they moved. The salad bar is still very good, as is the bread, but that’s about it. Had a couple of appetizers including awful potato skins that made me sick. Also, the clientele was atrocious with two drunk guys effectively heckling the live musician. I don’t expect much from EHT restaurants in general but this place was a caricature of everything wrong with the«pineys». Three glasses of wine, two appetizers and two salads cost about $ 75. For that price I expect more.
