Dr. Patel is good doctor. Professional and well organized and explains your condition and options very clearly. With lot of support staff, reduces waiting time for patients.

Each visit we are seen by different doctor(not by our choice). Doctor seems to be always in hurry and doesn’t seem to spend enough time explaining what each tests are for or understanding the concerns. Staff is okay. Billing department needs to be organized. Every single visit we are asked for payment is due although payments are completely paid off by insurance company. What would really help – 1. Explain the tests that will be performed up front. 2. Inform approximate wait time and time required for each step Patients go in and sent back in waiting area. Once in waiting area, there is no idea on how much longer you need to wait before next time they are called. 3. Provide ETA at the appointment time on how long patient need to be waiting. This is useful to plan other schedule

Professional and very well organized. Top of the line equipment, i for one never had such a comprehensive battery of tests done for my eyes. Came back happy. Dr. Patel explained the issue with my eye well and also recommended next steps. This nursing staff was pretty good at their job. Especially like the fact that they stuck to the appointment time. Before we first went to this place, we made sure that Dr. Patel was in our insurance network. The first visit, we were seen by Dr. Patel, but then on subsequent visits we were seen by different doctors(not by our choice). Upon questioning, the front office staff said that it doesn’t matter which doctor sees you, the insurance will be billed under Dr. Patel. 3 years later I get a bill for $ 211, because one of the doctors was not in network. Based on the information we were given and based on the fact that different doctors saw us(not by our choice), we are now being sent letters by the collection agency for this money. On one occasion we were given an appointment and when we showed up the office was closed. The front staff is rude and it is a very common sight to see irate customers having a shouting match with the staff. I am currently in the process of talking to the billing office to see that it is not fair to bill me when I had insurance and to see how poorly managed their office is. I don’t even know if they see the negative reviews on this page.

Everything mentioned in these reviews are true! Worst place ever. They’ve been under construction over 2 years now and the place still looks like shit. The staff is unprofessional and always have a nasty attitude! Every time I called for appointments they couldn’t book me until 3 weeks later. I don’t even know why people still go there. Their prices for contacts are outrageous. Don’t waste your time and go to Dr. Douglas Lee around the corner on Rt 27! I personally work for a doctors office and I can’t seem to understand how anybody, especially the doctors, could run such a shit show!

This is the worst eye doctor I’ve been to. The building is cramped and under construction and they weren’t professional at all. The rooms were small and cramped. The receptionist was rude and stuck up and we were waiting a hour to get our eyes examined and by the time we saw the doctor we were there for two hours. They are very disorganized and I would not recommend to anyone.

This place is by far the worst I can even imagine. I have never given a bad review for anything in my entire life, but these guys are beyond pathetic 1. Even when u have an appointment u need to wait for at least 2 hrs 2. If you lose Ur prescription, even if it’s within 12months but in the year before, they don’t replace it!!! It’s not even an year for God’s sake and the prescription is supposed to be for an YEAR = 12 months 3. The timings on the website and the timings hey close and open! Nightmare. They were closed mid day while nothing was either posted on the web or on the door even! 4. They say you need an entire medical eye examination done every time you visit them, even if it’s just been a month or even two!! and the results are good all the time, though they say your eye condition doesn’t look good 5. They are a pain with the insurance too! I called my insurance and when they say I am entitled to contacts, I was blankly denied and I had to make the PAtel eye associates people ACTUALLY talk to my insurance guys on phone Never visit them unless u wanted to ‘ve treated like a piece of Shit AND want the check up to last for the whole day AND get cheated and get an answer of either We don’t know or no

Worst service ever. The lady at the desk was so rude. When I finally got to see the doctor, it was clear she had no idea what she was doing. She put one of the machines too close to my eye(the one that blows air) and ending up poking it. Also the exam room was tiny, the equipment was dirty and the sink did not even have running water!

I would give this place zero stars if it were possible — I walked out of their office after waiting in their cramped, crowded waiting room for over an hour and a half beyond my appointment time. It was clear from the other people in the room that this kind of wait was not uncommon. If you actually need to see an eye doctor and don’t have all day to sit around waiting, don’t waste your time here.

This place is such a joke. They are so much more interested in making money than about the patients. For a 9am appointment, you will not see the doctor until 10. I paid my co-pay up front each time I went and I still got a bill in the mail. I went a total of 4 times, the first to get the prescription and then 3 follow ups about a week apart — the appointments were too close together and did not accomplish anything except me making co-pay payments. What a waste of time and money.
