This was a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. The Tacos were good, not outstanding, but solid; it was the salsa selection that really made everything shine — it’s always about the accessories, you know. But, sadly, someone needs to update the status here. I went by a couple of weeks ago, and Taqueria dos Hermanos is closed, kaput, gone, out-of-business.

I agree with all of the reviews here — but not enough has been said about that Salsa Bar. About 10 to choose from, in all degrees of ‘hotness’ — including the ever popular«makes my husband sweat like crazy». They are well labeled, so I was fine. The pico de gallo was fresh and excellent and there is a green one(not the really bright green for me though) that I love. It would be my favorite place — except for the lack of alcohol.

We went to Dos Hermanos for lunch last week, Wow! I would have never known about it except for Unilocal. They are so courteous and everything is grilled when you order. THe salsa bar is phenominal. Lots to try. I will be going back again and again. I grew up in Jefferson Park near this location. THe area is not like a ghetto as in some previous posts. Good luck Dos Hermanos! Yo quiero todos! If you are at South Fulton Medical Center or nearby for some reason this is right down the street. Check it out. By the way, for the Hispanically challenged, just ask and they will kindly explain anything on the menu. Tortas in Mexican spanish is a Sandwich! See you there.

You know you’ve hit authentic culinary gold when you’re the only person in an establishment that is not part of that particular ethnic group. On any given sunny Saturday, when you feel like making your own margaritas and enjoying them on your own patio with some great, CHEAP authentic Mexican food, order some take out from this place. I love practicing my Spanish there. The people are courteous and when I walk up to the salsa bar, its like Christmas morning! I love the fish tacos, the mini cheese quesadilla and ESPECIALLY the shrimp tostada. We took my mother there back in January and she couldn’t believe how great it was. You would never think that this little place could serve up food like it does. It is BYFAR my favorite Mexican food in the neighborhood. Sorry, Starlight! :-)
