Can’t really mess up burgers and fries, especially when they’re from Five Guys. Especially enjoyed the selection of toppings and the peanuts. A little dirty inside though.

Its been good in the past, but today… Ordered online, what a major fail… long wait, rude service, COLD fries… and our order is wrong… seriously, no condiments! My husband is right, for the money, we can get a better burger across the street … I guess I know why there’s no survey on my receipt

Five Guy’s Burgers and Fries — Niantic, CT — 6÷17÷2015 When all you do is burgers and fries… You tend to get good at it. I’ve been to this location numerous times. The service is friendly and the food is always consistent. In the beginning they kept forgetting to put the bacon on but that’s no longer an issue… My mother-in-law likes to go there so I take her. I usually get the double bacon cheese burger with Jalepinos and mushrooms. She gets the single burger with mushrooms. We end up splitting a small order of fries which is more than enough. With her small Root beer the entire bill comes out to about $ 20.00! What a deal! I think Five Guys has it down because every one I ever go into the food quality an service are always good. Highly recommended.

Great burgers. Good fries. Much better than most fast food burgers, but not as good as Fuddruckers. There are lots of locations. The burgers are filling and don’t leave you feeling gross.

Just another 5 Guys… Got the Bacon Cheese burger with Grilled onions, bbq sauce, and ketchup. It was really great. They also give a ton of fries…

Lately the food has not been as good as the pretty blonde cook has not been there. Last two times the guy behind the counter gave me 8 napkins with each order probably should be fired. no reason for that

Five guys is almost always good, and this one is no exception. Fast, friendly service, great bacon cheese dog all the way, huge portion of fries. I’ll be going back as soon as my arteries forget what I did to them last time.

We had three burgers, three drinks and split a large fry and it was $ 35. They only serve well done burgers while I prefer medium rare. This place is not the home of the bargain burger as claimed. Five Guys is okay in a pinch, but Wendy’s is better and offer more variety at a cheaper price.

Had a good overall experience. The guy that took my order was very flustered irritated and overwhelmed by the people in front of me. But when I walked up he had a great rebound and acted like he didn’t have an issue before that. My little bacon burger was great although I made it kind of sloppy with my toppings. The fries I shared but wasn’t too happy with. So all in all it was good and when I walked back up to the counter and asked for a fresh bag to take my other burger home and loaded it with peanuts. The guy at the counter didn’t even act like it was bothersome. The only reason I’ll go back is because the counter staff was great. Although I’m not a fan of the price.

Five Guys opened last week in East Lyme and everyone’s yammering about it. What’s the fuss? A perfect and juicy 3 ½ ounce burger with your choice of toppings(grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, jalapeño peppers) and crispy home-made fries that taste like guess what? Potato. No trans fats and not previously frozen. This is what fast food is supposed to taste like. Warning: order the«little hamburger» or you’ll be faced with this double monstrosity; the regular order of fries serves two generously.

Three words. Gluten free fries! Designated fryer so gets five stars from me– no six. I cross examined, lie detector tested, etc etc the poor guy behind the counter and he was awesome. Kind and constant smile too. I’m super nervous about gluten contamination since I get crazy sick from it, but heard Five Guys was safe. Had to triple check to be sure. Fries was all I had but all I wanted:) hard to find! And not a speck of symptoms…:)

French fries are the best things ever. Peanuts while you wait are great. Burgers to me are good but messy to eat

Came here 10 mins prior to closing, the 2 gentleman on shift were super nice. The food tasted fresh even for being 10 mins left to closing everyone hates those last few walkins when u have. Clean grill and counted drawer and 1 person comes in mins to closing, but these guys were wonderful.

I have frequented over a dozen different 5 guys locations and am rating this compared to other locations. Meal: bacon burger. Cajun fries First bite thoughts: meat was too well done, it was on the dry side. Toppings were not evenly distributed on the burger which made the bite a little chaotic. It’s an art folks which means you need to take a little bit of care when constructing the perfect burger. This is not the worst 5 guys I’ve been to but the mystic one is right down the road and does a much better job. Fries were good and crispy with plenty if Cajun.

Another solid location. Yah I know I’m not following my own«no chain food» rule but, I can’t help it– it’s the fresh golden crunchy fries! No red meat for this girl but the all grilled veggies like onions, mushrooms, jalepeno, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, pickles & melty cheese w FRESH cut NOT frozen bag of fries w season salt & hot sauce– oh yah! Satiates my craving every time! It’s a bit loud in this spot but the staffs efficiency & enthusiasum is palpable! Gotta luv that!

Overall happy with 5 Guys… Good Burgers and fries. Yes it is a few$$$, but IMO worth it. good peanuts. I agree with a previous poster. They are sadly lacking the milkshake dept. what goes better with a good burger & fires? other fast food chains do it.

When I first walked in the door I immediately noticed the walls were plastered with all the positive reviews they had received. Good sign(pun intended). They have a very limited menu though. Literally you can pick hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, and one other that I don’t recall. Everything is a la carte so fries are extra and pricey. Took about 10 minutes to get my order so definitely not fast food. The burger was good. Just good. Nothing special in my opinion. I have made the exact burger on my backyard grill about a hundred times. They give you a lot of fries which is nice, but they were only okay. Overall, way over hyped. Way too expensive for what you get. The burger and fries were okay but should be about half the price.
