Paid an outrageous amount of money for their«Asian straightening» procedure. I just needed a touch up on 3 inches of my roots. Well, I still have the wave in my roots and need to flat iron, which is what I wanted to avoid. I originally had the procedure done in the Philippines for a fourth of the price, and they did an excellent job. My hair was straight, soft and shiny!!! No flat iron needed on any part of my hair. You would think you could get comparable or even better service here, but not true. On another note, it only took 3 hours for the original procedure and they did all of my long curly hair. It took over 4 hours here and I received NO results or changes! Do not waste your time or money here.

Desperately needed a haircut, do I came here and unfortunately even coming in with a picture of what I wanted, my hairstylist COMPLETELY botched it. I asked for light layers around my face and what I got was 3 levels of hair — at my chin, then 2 inches longer at my ear, then very long in the back. Incredibly choppy, I absolutely hated it. I did come back in and another hairstylist did what she could to soften it, but it took me several months to grow my hair out to a normal length again.

Peppermint cooling gel. If your eyebrows are looking like King Kong sat on your face then trot to Essex and get your brows done. A little pricey($ 12) but for in and out service, a great aesthetician(Stephanie) and that awesome pepperminty stuff, it’s worth every penny. Call ahead first(you can call that same day, usually) and they can probably get you in on a lunch break.
