Probably my favorite sandwich place on the planet. Easily worth the 3 hour drive from the city for their mozz, peppers, garlic, basil and balsamic hero. Although the mozz isn’t as good as Fiore’s in Hoboken — but what is?- it’s damn close. They can make pretty much anything under the sun. Terrific staff, too. :)

The heroes here are amazing! Very flavorful and fresh. I love that we can also get delicious stuffed peppers and specialty Italian treats! Rashid, the owner is very community minded and is always trying to extend a hand to help out local children’s charities.

Fantastic authentic Italian, top of list for catering our parties and regular destination when strolling through the Village for their creative sandwiches(esp Turkey Avocado and The DaVinci)!

Good sandwiches if you get the one you ordered and you have 30 minutes to wait

Nothing like warm fresh home-made mozzarella. We also love the little meatballs. Actually, there is nothing in this store that I wouldn’t recommend.

Sorry Villa. My days with you are limited. I had hoped the screwed up order last time was an anomaly. But this time, 3 sandwiches, 1 not correct. That’s a 66% success rate for you math geeks. If I’m paying $ 10+ for a sammich, it had better be right and good.

Excellent food ! Top notch mozzarella ! We got the buffalo wrap, veggie villa on hero and tiramisu . The chicken was juicy and the buffalo sauce was one of the best we have tested. The veggies were freshly grilled and very flavorful . Overall great portions and very reasonable prices !

Amazing prepared italian food including pastas and sandwiches. They also have wonderful sausages. Only turn off is the counter people are extremely slow and disorganized and the wait for food and to be rung up takes a minimum of 20 minutes. Don’t try to go during lunch time.

Very good fresh food, great service and expeditious. Mozzarella was the best I’ve ever had! Very affordable deli and lots of snacks-cookies, chips, dessert. Good variety of drinks. Excellent for take out or sitting in the rear of deli in a relaxing patio.

Great deli by the train station with big delicious sandwiches and fresh mozzarella. Melanzana(eggplant, mozzarella, ciabatta) is pretty fantastic. Sandwiches feed 2 or 1 very hungry person and range from $ 8 – 10. Solid choice. No seating.

Best Turkey & Avocado sandwich I have ever had! This place even when it’s not summer gets packed during lunch hours. Every minute waited is worth waiting for. Very highly recommended!

Villa is a top-notch wraps/sub place in East Hampton, and it’s my recommended spot for lunch in the area for sure. No inside seating guys, so don’t expect to order and eat it there. They do have some outdoor seating in the back, which is really nice when the weather permits. As far as food and service, Villa does a great job at both. They had mine and my wife’s two wraps done in about five minutes or so. The Chicken Caesar is among the best I’ve had, and it’s ALWAYS fresh. The use a nice, Parmesan cheese inside, and it’s a pretty good size. The wrap is always constructed pretty good and never has fallen apart on me yet(which is a complaint I have with some wraps I’ve ordered). Villa also has good prices for their food. It’s a $ 10 minimum for card use, and they don’t take AmEx. I would STRONGLY recommend Villa for a lunch if you’re in East Hampton — you can’t go wrong with quality and freshness.

Considering how small this Italian deli/shop is, it’s impressive how much stuff they’ve managed to fit in here… Italy would be pleased. They have LOTS of great products, including homemade pastas, sauces, cookies, etc. And the deli is serious business. There are several prepared dishes plus both hot and cold sandwich options, and there’s usually a line. The guys behind the counter are a little brusque, don’t waste any time, and they scare me but their sandwiches are legit… I’m pretty sure they’re mafia-approved because the meatball sandwich is killer… Wah, wah! Their spicy Italian sausage is also good(the sandwich that is). Their bread is soft, deli-cious and holds up well to all the sauce and fillings. And portions are pretty generous so sharing a sandwich wouldn’t be the craziest thing.

I’m giving Villa two stars, not because of the food, which is yummy but, because a never ending attitude of «they are always right.» With the current ownership, excluding the always helpful Franco, time and time again my order is wrong. Infuriating because I trust they are capable of getting an order right. It is their job after all. I’ve been a patron for 20+ years and what has kept me as a patron were the good days when the policy was«the customer is always right,» not to mention better food and a friendlier service. In my 20+years I’ve ordered the same sandwich, never changing and yet, I find myself disappointed more often than not. Today, I chose to spend my hard earned money at Villa, on the sandwich I get at least 3 times per week. I was anxious to get home and indulge on my most favorite sandwich, only to be disappointed because again it was wrong, not even the meat I requested. I called, spoke to the owner/manager that took my order and was hostilely told over and over he had given me what I ordered. Instead of saying, I’m sorry I must have misheard you, he kept insisting I was wrong and told me go bring it back but, it was what I had ordered. I’m in my warm home, starving, and miles from the store, I’m not going back when I specifically went out only for this sandwich. I find that in my experience, he is better off not dealing with the customers due to his slow pace which backs up the line and his inability to recognize that customers are making a choice to patron his store and rather than acknowledging that, he sticks to his poor customer service skills blaming the customer. There are many choices a customer can make regarding their lunch options and he is too dense to recognize that. I am singling him out along with a couple of girls who give you a large helping of attitude when they get the order wrong. It only takes a few apples to spoil a bunch. Unfortunate.

On a recent visit to East Hampton, went to this place because of a suggestion from a friend. Sandwiches were great, and service was quick and friendly. We will return!

Do you have food allergies or dietary restrictions? DON’T EATHERE. My brother is allergic to cheese. We called in our order, and asked for chicken parmesan without cheese, and asked our usual«please make sure it’s cheese free.» Our order was taken, we drove into town to pick it up, and once we were there, we stopped first at the cooler case to get marinara sauce, before going to the counter. We noticed that all the sauce for sale by the container said«with cheese.» At this point, asked at the counter if the marinara sauce on the chicken parm we’d ordered was cheese-free. We were told no, it’s the same as in the containers, with cheese. We then explained our confusion: why we were being sold a «cheese-free» chicken parm, if the marinara sauce was made with cheese. The response given was«the chicken doesn’t have any cheese on it.» When we explained that we weren’t going to purchase a meal that my brother would get sick from eating, we were given two frustrated faces and an explanation of how we’d been given what we’d asked for. We tried another line of conversation, could we instead order the plain breaded chicken cutlet that chicken parm is made with. Then we were told that there is cheese in the breading. If you have dietary restrictions because you have allergies, are kosher or halal, don’t trust that any dietary specifications you request will be respected.

Great deli! Great sandwiches, nice people behind the counter. Self serve Italian cookies: Right across from the East Hampton train station. Why didn’t I know about this place sooner?
