Everything is excellent, it’s nice and dim inside, staff on point, food is ¹⁰⁄₁₀ every time. Mint.

LOVE this place!!! Mine and my husband’s favorite spot for date night! The BEST nachos in the state! The food is always fresh and delicious. My only feedback would be to change up the menu a bit. A new menu with a few added items would be refreshing to see and I would absolutely love it they had outdoor patio seating. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!

This place is amazing! I took my girlfriend here last week for birthday. From the quaint atmosphere to the delicious food. This place is definitely on my list of favorite places. I had the best ribeye. … and my girlfriend ate the lobster and scallop dish that I had to taste too.
I used the online reservation app that worked perfectly! For the price and ambiance this is the place to go. We will be ack. great service by our waitress also.

Meritage has always been my favorite restaurant and I haven’t been in years. My boyfriend brought me here last week for my birthday as a surprise. Service was great. Very attentive but not overwhelming. We had the Calamari for an appetizer and loved it. I ordered the Lobster Cardanale and my boyfriend had a Ribeye with potatoes and veggies. We always share a few bites of our meals with the other and even thou I loved my meal I couldnt stop eating his steak. It was melt in your mouth delicious. I also had a huge Margarita before we ate and then had a huge glass of White Sangria with dinner. I love their Margaritas… but now the Sangria is a favorite too!!! Since it was my birthday we made room for dessert! I had the fruit pizza… which is to die for… i love the mascarpone cheese on it. My boyfriend had the brownie with ice cream. They brought out my dessert with a candle (but no signing — thank you very much). They also comp’d my desserts which was unexpected. Can’t wait to go back!

Two stars at best. Heard great things about this restaurant. I always drive by and see a crowded parking lot and tonight we gave it a try. The restaurant was pretty empty. We started with a salad and lobster Mac and cheese. Definitely the highlight of the dinner. Lob Mac was yummy but when is it not? One complaint was everything we had was way under seasoned if seasoned at all. For a restaurant with such great reviews I can only assume it’s because of the size of the drinks. For entrees we had potato gnocchi. Not very appetizing. Orange ginger salmon. Served with an orange twisted on top… Really what is this 1985??? Ordered the salmon med rare and was told it has to be cooked through. One conclusion is it was portioned previously frozen product? Why when we have great seafood vendors all over Rhode Island to provide fresh fish. Also the fish was cooked on a sizzle platter and thrown in the oven and baked, how about searing it or grilling it? The accompaniments were blown out jasmine rice and some mixed greens. The salad made zero sense, cut random vegetables. Asparagus, green beans, peppers and mesclun mix. Not a very well though out dish. Again missing salt and pepper. Simple culinary skill that is missed in so many establishments. Unfortunately we most likely won’t be back. For the price there are much better places in the area. All that hype for nothing.

Went here for a mother-​daughter date. Overall it was a nice experience. My daughter recommended doing the 2 for 22 special but thought it meant we both ate for $ 22. It was a very misleading advertisement, but $didn’t matter to me ~ I had already planned on spending…
She got the calamari appetizer, said it was ok. I got a martini which was delicious and beautiful. I was very happy to see that was an option in the special. I had suggested dessert but my daughter didn’t want it so it had to be a martini
I had the lobster Cardinale & loved it. My daughter had steak, shrimp, and scallop skewer but did not like the fact that it was charred. She ordered her steak medium and it was a little over cooked (she never complains about food-​especially steak). She didn’t want to tell the waitress so she just worked around it.
She had a hard time buttering her bread because the butter was so hard. I was able to figure that out because I grew up in the 80s lol, but she didn’t want me to butter her bread for her.
I had been here once before with my daughter and my son’s girlfriend. We had sat in the bar area and had appetizers. It was nice.
This time my daughter and I sat in the dining room by the window. Our waitress was very nice. I would also like to add that the bus boy came over and was very friendly. I had been waiting for my food to be wrapped and plates to be cleared and he had no problem helping me out.

Can’t say enough good things… the atmosphere was great and the food and service were outstanding! Had the filet with lobster butter and we had the scallop and beef kabob. The server was absolutely the definition of amazing service. Definitely recommended and will be back

Meritage is our favourite EG spot (and there’s some real competition!). Whether you’re here for lunch, happy hour, or a late night dinner, Meritage never disappoints. The food is always delicious, prices are low for what you would be paying down the street, and just as importantly, they employ some of the most entertaining waitstaff we’ve ever encountered!
Kudos to Meritage, deserving of far more than 3.5 stars shown!

I don’t know why this restaurant is rated only 3.5 stars. This is the sister restaurant of Chardonnay’s in Seekonk and I always had a good time with both. I’m surprised I haven’t written anything. This was my third visit and it has always been excellent!
Their sangria is delicious! As some other customers posted it, they serve it a nice big glass. Their meatball appetizer is my personal favorite as it is savory, and tasty. On my last visit, I had their Pizza Rustico. There was a complimenting blend of cheesy, gooey, doughy, and tasty. If you are to come here for two people and you will order an appetizer and one of their grilled pizzas, you might end up not being able to finish your entrée as their pizza servings are huge. Overall a great experience and will always be back!

Vomitorium. I went to this restaurant with my husband and mother-​in-​law. None of us had food that was any good. Mine was so awful that I had to send it back as I was fearful of food poisoning. We all decided that MacDonald’s would have been a better choice. Stay away! Maybe the food is good sometimes but when its bad its very, very bad.

I really like Meritage. I like margarita Monday you get a huge margarita and with that a selection of one of the tapas on the margy monday menu. Last time I tried the Sangria, it was so delicious. Great for a date or a group outing. Friendly staff. Try it out!

Meritage is a restaurant that never disappoints us. It’s close to our house and go often enough to take advantage of their great happy hour specials. Sunday’s is «Wine Enthusiast» night, and with 2 entrees, you get a free bottle of wine!
I’ve had a little bit of everything on their menu and have never had a bad meal. Definitely a «go-​to» spot I love visiting. Also recommend a reservation, especially on the weekends.

Monday night .free mini appetizer with purchase of Margaritas or Sangria! Some favorite appetizers you must try: zippy grilled shrimp served over sautéed spinach, teriyaki or buffalo chicken skewers, nachos, broiled scallops. Skip the fried calamari as they weren’t anything special. Can’t wait to return!

Love Meritage… this is the perfect place for a happy hour, to celebrate a special occasion, or to host a private event. They’re generally only open in the evening each day (open at 4:30 pm every day except Sunday, when it’s 2 pm). The happy hour specials are fantastic (available before 6 pm and after 9:30 pm) and offer half priced appetizers (nachos are my favorite) and pizzas (all are good I can’t recommend a favorite). The drinks are impressive and some are enormous (particularly the sangrias and margaritas). They also have different nightly specials (i.e., Monday if you buy a sangria or margarita you get an app for free, Tuesdays they have a $ 22 prix fixe menu for a two course meal-​entrée and a salad/​dessert/​app). It’s a beautifully decorated restaurant throughout with numerous private rooms/​spaces that are great for a birthday-​bridal shower-​baby shower-​party etc. They’ve got a variety of private event menu options (you can preview some on their website) and all of the private events I’ve attended here have been fantastic! They take open table reservations so if you’re planning to visit with a large group or on a weekend/​holiday night, make your reservation ahead of time!

Place got recommended to us by another couple. We almost didn’t find it because it’s hiding off the main road. There’s a large sign but nothing on the building. Wasn’t sure if it was a church or if we got the right place. I didn’t want to get stuck by lightning again.
Harold was our waiter. He was great.
Drinks were delicious. Happy hour menu rocked and they had a special Tuesday menu when we were there.
Place looks clean, fresh, modern. On a touch of fancy side.
Food was delicious. Loved the happy hour menu. And of course, we ordered too much food as we always do. I got a seared tuna salad for $ 9.50 and a flat bread pizza with fig jam, arugula and goat cheese for $ 7. Both were yummy and large.
Husband got $ 22 Tuesday dinner that included fried calamare and a lobster/​seafood dish on pasta. Both tasty and plentiful.
It was a Tuesday, place wasn’t full. I will come back, for sure.

I enjoy coming to this restaurant as I love the atmosphere and food. Service here is good! There dishes are really enjoyable. Especially love their stuffed peppers and buffalo chicken skewers. Their pizza and flat breads are delicious. They have huge flavorful margaritas or sangrias! I love their stoli dolis (pineapple infused vodka)! Happy hour is 4:30p-6p and after 9:30p for half off appetizers, but you have to sit in the bar area! Great place but I usually pass by this place as it is hidden by trees. This is a great place to get together with some friends.
