I love this place! Unfortunately I haven’t ever been able to get here for lunch, and I didn’t realize they don’t do lunch on Sundays so that caused a bit of an issue at first. However, what I have had here has been excellent. The chicken and waffles, nutella french toast, breakfast burrito, and beignets are phenomenal. Chicken had a great batter, the waffles were fluffy and crispy at the same time and the breakfast burrito had good texture(we put bacon in it) and lots of flavor. The beignets were lovely, and the sauce they give you with it was super tasty. Great service, very attentive and we were seated pretty quickly for having a larger party. I will definitely be back again, and hopefully I’ll be able to get some lunch next time!

I was here with a large group recently. The wait was fairly short for not having a reservation. I loved the biscuits and gravy with home fries and chicken and waffles. My friend and I shared. Everyone liked their food. Our waitress was friendly. Our only complaint was that we didn’t know that we could not order lunch on Sunday, so half the group had to decide on another option when we were told. I don’t know why a BLT wouldn’t be part of the brunch menu anyway, which is what I wanted to order. Overall we were happy with our visit.

SOGOOD! I don’t normally eat breakfast but when I go on vacations I eat all 3 meals and all the ones in between. I ordered 2 eggs with pork belly with a side of bacon. My eggs were nicely soft scrambled. The real star was the pork belly! While heavy and a bit greasy, the flavor is unreal. Crispy and juicy! It’s also a generous portion. Also, the best bacon I’ve ever had. It’s kind of crazy but it really was the perfect balance of salty and smoky. To top it off, our waitress was friendly and attentive.

Ok, so I waited to go and thought the D’s K was going to be better, I had such high expectations after having been not able to get in because the wait was too long. Very good food, wait time for it to come out was excessive. Tasty, fresh, would go back but not in a super hurry, craving kind of way.

You would never expect the size of this place looking from the outside. They have a decent size bar area and outdoor seating as well. They make the most out of the space they are allotted with just enough tables for your comfort and to maximize the area. Reading other reviews I was concerned about finding a seat, not an issue at all. We were there on a Saturday from 8am-10am and never once did someone have to wait to sit so don’t let those reviews stop you from checking this place out. First thing I noticed is that they have alcohol, how great in a breakfast place, most don’t offer this. The food has a southern flare, took forever to pick something bc their are so many great choices. They do offer flavored iced coffee there and you can substitute several items on the menu if there is another side you would prefer. I got the Dante’s omelet which came with spinach, portobello mushrooms, goat cheese and salsa. They offer their homemade hot sauce which was so good!!! Never opt for Red Hot when you come here, theirs is far better. The wheatberry toast was thick and toasted perfectly, I opted for the home fries vs. three bean salad, they were nice and crispy. Service was great, so personable, I will definately be back!

This was a great find in downtown East Greenwich on a Sunday. We wanted to get out of the city and try something new for brunch — we hopped on Unilocal and this was the top place which came up in the area — so we found ourselves at a street side table for this cute as all hell restaurant with comfort food/southern flare style brunch. I got the BBQ pulled pork hash — I don’t think I would ever get anything else! This was a MASSIVE portion of meat on top of poached eggs and potatoes along with a biscuit. My eating partner built his own omelette which he enjoyed but found him sneaking many bites of my hash. Surrounding tables got various other orders which looked generous in portions, and only clean plates were removed from the table. The«Adult Coffee» menu looked really good but we strayed from alcohol that morning. I think when you have an outdoor table you inherently have less attn from the waiting staff — so i would have liked a couple more check ins to step up the coffee/water game but it certainly won’t deter us from coming back. It’s in a cute/walkable section of town which is great while waiting for a table or to walk off your brunch. Great spot!

Here working on marine project. This place is great. Awesome eats and great drinks. Tried several different dishes and have not been disappointed yet. The pork belly is to die for. So many cool recipes and different variations of food. Always look forward to stopping in, project is almost over but I will be sure to stop in a few more times before leaving town. Awesome staff as well. Attentive, fun and lots of laughs. Bloody Mary’s are delicious. Come to think of it, every thing I have tried here is delicious. Great spot! #TheBuddhaReview

My new favorite brunch place. I went with my best friend who ordered the granola French toast and I ordered the chicken and waffles with home fries and bacon with chocolate macadamia ice coffee. EVERYTHINGWASDELICIOUS. The home fries were truly fries… Not the wet potatoes that restaurants claim are«home fries.» The chicken was flavored to perfection and the batter was absolutely perfect. We will be back again for sure!!! There is street parking and the neighborhood is very cute and charming. The restaurant is fairly small but the service was pretty good EXCEPT for our waitress. I dine at enough places and have been in customer service long enough to know that you should introduce yourself. It was our first time there which we told her and when we proceeded to ask questions about the menu she was not willing to inform us of much. For example, I asked how the chocolate macadamia coffee is and all she said was«I’ve never tried it.» OK… But perhaps you know of customers or coworkers who have? She could’ve told us more or possibly make a recommendation.

I went here for Sunday brunch at noon. We just walked in and we were seated right away! Cute place, small but cozy interior, friendly staff and great service. I ordered the Nutella French toast but I despise bananas so I tweaked my order to include strawberries instead. My strawberry Nutella French toast was out of this world! Great taste and the perfect portion for me. I also had a pineapple peach mimosa which was delicious and very unique. I’ve never ever had this flavor before and it was interesting, sweet and I really liked it. Being that I’m not from RI, this was a great Sunday find! You should give it a try when in town.

Staff is very friendly. I was recommended the pulled pork and it was amazing. The fig jelly and biscuit was yumm. Do ask for their special hot sauce. It’s a mustard base sauce but very different.

I love hitting East Greenwich for Breakfast and Dante’s is in the regular rotation. Everything is delicious, but high points for me are the Huevos Rancheros, Pulled Pork Hash, and Chicken & Waffles. I was so excited when they started serving the breakfast menu for dinner as well!

Gerry makes an amazing Bloody Mary and the food is always delicious! We’re never unhappy when we stop in as she’s quite entertaining. Definitely sit at the bar if it’s a couple or a small group! Have to get back here more often!

This cozy brunch nook is situated in the middle of downtown East Greenwich among the boutique adorned Main Street. The ambiance is very casual and has a café type feel. We were quickly seated. Service was very attentive. We were delighted to be able to have a choice of flavored coffee such as snickerdoodle or hazelnut. I went with the fresh pot of snickerdoodle. We asked the server what she recommend and she suggested the two dishes we wanted to get: Shepherd’s Pie Benny and the Pulled Pork Hash. The Benny was classic mix of mash potatoes, corn, carrots, and ground beef a top a corn bread crumble. The fresh herbs accented the the savory hollandaise sauce. The side of fresh mixed greens added is a well balanced pairing. The Pulled Pork had great flavor from the homemade BBQ sauce. I mixed some of the homemade habanero hot pepper sauce onto my Hash. The hot sauce was not that spicy. I love spicy! Delicious none the less. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Everything about this place is great, the coffee, the vibe, the food. I always end up with the pulled pork hash, it’s one of those food items that sound a little different but you just have to try it, you’ll be hooked! All the food is made fresh from scratch the biscuits are delicious. I try and get here every couple weeks because that’s when the pulled pork hash cravings kick in! Try them out and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Dante’s is such an awesome place to get brunch. Their menu primarily consists of comfort food classics. The inside is small but cozy. I wouldn’t recommend going here with a group larger than four people. There was only one person waiting on customers but she did a fantastic job at managing and was extremely friendly. They have an extensive and creative speciality drink list and food menu. Food — I got an iced coffee that came in a mason jar and the banana nutella french toast. The dish came with two thick cut pieces of french toast that were stuffed with melted nutella, drizzled with chocolate sauce, and topped with fresh bananas, candied pecans, whipped cream, and powdered sugar. The candied pecans were SO good. They were perfectly crispy and deliciously sweet. The portion sizes are ideal. They’re not too big or too small, but just right. I tried their home fries but wasn’t all that impressed. They were a little on the spicy side. Aside from the spice, they were a tad bland. I had a fantastic experience at Dante’s and am looking forward to going back to try their lunch menu! Tip — Try to get there before 10AM. We got there at 9 and were seated right away.

Great service and waitstaff. She brought us extra cornbread and an extra large portion of Mac and cheese. The food is great, well flavored and great options. The burger is solid. Amazed that EG is stepping up its foodie game.

I would say the food was forgettable, the fact every drink was spilt was comical and the choice of music for a southern themed restaurant(reggae) was quizzical. The theme of the restaurant was cute but alas this is all that saved this brunch spot from 2 stars. With so many great brunch spots around the state this one just comes up short. Their draw seems to be that they offer to send you into a food coma with their southern themed dishes. If you cover anything in loads of salty and gravy it will pretty much always taste good. Dante’s Omelette sounded great but lacked a flavorful punch, equally the Veggie Bennie could have been great but the chef was too cautious in their season. Alas like so many breakfast spots the coffee lacked actual coffee flavor. The server was capable of spilling our cocktail, water & coffee … I hope they don’t serve soup. Eat well Providence… remember brunch is the most important meal of the day

Our waitress Renee was the best! This place is adorably small with that personal touch you don’t get just anywhere. Had a delicious(and big) salad with romaine, goat cheese, cranberries and their signature dressing which was to die for. It is located in downtown East Greenwich which has lots of little shops and eateries to poke around in after dinner as well. Highly recommended!

This place has delicious and unique breakfast fare. Many of the meals have a self-described southern flair, so if you’ve got a hankering for grits and don’t want to drive a few hundred miles to the nearest Waffle House, then Dante’s Kitchen has your back. I ordered the pulled pork hash($ 13, pictured) and was not disappointed. Pulled pork, home fries, poached eggs, and a biscuit made up the dish and everything was great. If I returned, I would probably try the biscuits and gravy($ 9). The locale does have some on the prices, but nothing is too crazy. Don’t come in expecting a gigantic breakfast to fill you up for the whole day because you won’t find it here. What you will find is very unique and moderately portioned(let’s be honest and call them healthily portioned) meals. My one complaint here is that the menu might be too limited. It’s probably necessary considering the limited number of cooks in a smaller restaurant, but if you aren’t in the mood for a few things then half the menu might be eliminated right off the bat.

When Audra’s café closed(and my $ 100 in gift cards there vanished along with its closing), I thought it would be hard to top the breakfast staple on Main Street that locals loved for years. After a few visits to Dante’s, I’m pretty certain that Audra’s might remain a distant memory to many folks. I’ve only been for breakfast so can’t speak to the other meals, but have loved each meal we have tried here. First to get a shout out is the banana and Nutella french toast. It’s hard to believe something this delicious exists but alas it does. Other dishes we have enjoyed include the blueberry pancakes, the pulled pork hash, and the huevos rancheros… each as delicious as the last. Food aside, the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. It’s a small restaurant but we haven’t yet had to wait. In the summer they have additional sidewalk seating that’s perfect for people watching. Dante’s is definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!
