Great little spot for dessert and coffee or just to come and have an after dinner drink. Extensive martini list… my favorite being the almond joy espresso martini. Desserts are good, bartenders are great! My go-to spot in EG!

This is definitely my friends and mine favorite place to grab a martini or glass of wine. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. The staff is always incredibly friendly and accommodating, even when the place is packed, which is unfortunately all the time now, since the secret about this place is out!

I have been here several times with friends after work for drinks. I absolutely love the ambience. Cozy fireplace. Friendly people ~ always busy. I have had great Martinis, delicious wines, and… Once arrived early enough that the ‘coffee counter’ was open and I had a latte. I have to tell you ~ I am a coffee snob. I had informed the gentleman making my latte of this, after I tasted his product. It was one of the best lattes I had ever tasted! Absolutely delicious! He seemed to appreciate my compliment. I think because he actually cared about the effort he put into making it. I don’t really know how to explain it. Just a great experience! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I have never tried the food.

I have only been there in the evening with friends for martinis and dessert. Very cozy and gets a bit crowded as the night moves on. Pineapple upside down cake martini is super yummy, easy to forget it has alcohol in it until the next morning.

I’ve been going to Main Street Coffee since I was a kid, and it’s one of the things I’ve missed most since I’ve moved away from RI. The drinks are always delicious, and the food is GREAT. It’s a go-to when I meet my best friend, and we happily can spend upwards of 2 hours there; the atmosphere is lovely and it’s such a cute spot. The people who work there are always so nice and friendly as well. I always order the same thing because it is just so DAMNGOOD(large iced vanilla chai with a shot of espresso and skim milk… in case you’re wondering…), and it is made the same every time. I just recently tried out the lunch items there and they are, as expected, to die for. I’ve always been a huge fan of the pastries, and I’m glad they were able to expand to savory options(AND a bar… how fancy!) Even though I’ve moved to Brooklyn, MSC will always have a fan with me!

I’ve been going here for almost 10 years now and I have had nothing but wonderful experiences. The coffee is always amazing(especially with an added shot of espresso!), the bagels are FAR better than any frozen stuff from Dunkin, and the desserts are always melt in your mouth spectacular. Even when there’s a large line, it moves quickly and everyone seems just genuinely happy. There’s such a homey feel, no matter what time you’re there. Recently, I’ve gone to the lounge side in the evening and they have the absolute best espresso martinis! All in all, Main Street is a fantastic place to spend a morning, afternoon, or evening.

There was a point in my life when I basically lived at Mainstreet Coffee. Then I moved to Providence and it became too far to travel to on a daily basis. Mainstreet has the perfect ambiance for a date night or to catch up with a friend. In the summer I enjoy sitting by the open windows or out on the sidewalk to watch the happenings of Main Street. I adore their caramel latte, cappuccino, and basically anything warm made by their baristas. When we want to indulge we grab one of their decadent desserts or pastries. The staff are always accommodating and the product is consistently good. I just wish we lived closer.

How much do I like this place? Well, I go almost every day. They fill my travel mug with coffee in the morning $ 1.00! The also feature great pastries and sandwiches. The biscotti is the best in the US. Steve and his staff are super.

The BEST place we went during our daytrip to E Greenwich. I had a wonderful Cappuccino and my boyfriend had the Napoli, which was a hazelnut spiked coffee. We were suppoesed to be sobering up before the 45 minute drive home, but by the end of it only I was sobering up. The scones were good, we bought a GIANT one. The ambiance was great and the bathroom smells lovely. Be sure to check out the gallery in the back. It’s a nice spot to hang out. My only complaint was that it was a bit pricey.

I’ve eaten and had coffee here a few times and it’s decent. Not the best, not the worst. However, tonight I went in to use the bathroom and had my daughter come in with me. She was carrying a cup of Ice tea from Starbucks. The older man at the counter forced her to switch her drink into a different cup. I mean if we were going to eat here or have a drink I could maybe understand his rational, but we were in there for all of five minutes. It was the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen, and a waste of a cup. I’ve seen other people walk into a restaurant with a cup from another place, and Ive never seen anyone force a cup change. I’ve been customer before, but no longer.

Coffee, please. There isn’t really a Starbucks in the vicinity and I actually wanted something else for a change. The gal at the counter made me an excellent latte and I sat here for about an hour, consuming the coffee and eating up a big piece of their wifi bandwidth(ask for the password). They do have made-to-order sandwiches and I saw a few come out from the kitchen while I was there.

You know, I really like this place. It’s a great local joint with a little added flare and charm. They have delicious cocktails, friendly staff, and some yummy small fare. It’s dark and sexy, and a place that you can either grab a glass of champagne pre dinner, or set up for the night enjoying their scotch flights.

The spiced chai is delicious! Best in the area! Prices are a bit high, particularly with the many alternatives in the area. But it’s got a great atmosphere and offerings. The martinis on the barside do not disappoint. I esp. enjoy trying the night’s specialities or asking the bartender to come up with a new creation.

Adorable coffee shop in downtown E. Greenwich. Main Street coffee offers good coffee, tea, espresso drinks and treats of various types. I love their ice coffee and they make a decent dirty chai. I wasn’t a huge fan of their pumpkin latte but I’ve liked everything else that I’ve tried. I haven’t had any of the sweets or savory treats but plan on it sometime. They have a cute back room with tables and a couch where you can lounge around and chat with your friends and view some local artwork that hangs around the room. I also really enjoy hanging out on their outside patio when the weather is nice, taking in the fresh air and the beauty of E. Greenwich. Mainstreet is also attached to Toscana, which is a martini bar. i haven’ ventured in but I believe you can get your coffee drinks at Mainstreet made with a bit of the hard stuff if you are in to that. I highly recommend you check them out if you are looking for a yummy caffeinated beverage and a cozy atmosphere. The staff seem to be pretty friendly and I always leave satisfied with my experience.

Main Street Coffee is a gem of a spot. It has become my go-to place over the past couple of years. It is a great place to stop and get your favorite coffee, sweet treats, and… alcohol! The martini’s are exceptional! The space is divided into a café and bar area. It’s always cozy and intimate with décor that makes it feel special. It’s never too loud, which makes it the perfect place to chat with friends and feel at home. During the warmer months they have great seating on the sidewalk where you can take in all that Main Street has to offer.

If only I had a place like this closer to home. The staff were pleasant and hospitable, the appetizers were incredible, we had 3 of them and each were top notch. Thursday is ½ on appetizers if you are a lady, and that made the prices very reasonable. There was a small but well chosen list of beers and wines. Next time I will try the coffee!
