Great spot in East Greenwich. Amazing selection of local oysters as well as a variety of sea food. Mondays they do half price apps and its a great deal. Solid craft beer selection to wash it all down!

This little seafood place in downtown EG really surprised me. First off, the draft selection was impressive. Every style was represented from Allagash white to White Electric stout and several in between. There were about 8 – 10 great craft beer selections. I had an Allagash on this 55 degree February 3rd. Just right! Started with a round of blue point oysters; delicious. My entrée was the special, Mediterranean Swordfish over linguine. Perfectly executed, the sauce was like heaven. I wanted to go in the kitchen and shake the chef’s hand. I like the intimate atmosphere, it’s very comfortable here. We parked at the nearby bank(after hours), and it was a 1 minute walk. Five stars. Highly recommended.

I was so disappointed, I really wanted to eat there, but there was no place to park. I called, they have no parking or valet but suggested I park on the street. There was no parking on the street. They suggested side streets(with hills at 45 degrees) Please, let me ask you — «I’m going to drop over $ 100 in your restaurant and I’ve got to make my 86 year old mother walk up a big hill to get there? Nope, not going to do it. These people are delusional, no place to park my car… I won’t spend my money there.

Cozy atmosphere, nice décor, great service! Shrimp Scampi with Linguini was very good. Will go for the Short Ribs next time! He loved the oysters and we shared a piece of chocolate cake that just hit the spot! So nice to have great places within walking distance from home — Thank you for a great night!

Everything is good. Everything is truly fresh. Not Subway«fresh». Bartenders are top notch knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. Buck a shuck is an added bonus if we happen to be there. The stuffies are legendary. Fish Reuben makes my daughter’s heart flutter. Draught beer selection is thoughtful and different. No 5th star because the entrees are slightly beyond my margin of propensity to consume.(I’m too cheap to pull the trigger on the high end items.)

I’ve been here before and expected, and received, an offering of fresh oysters. Last night was no different, with the exception of trying their filet… it was the best I’ve had in a long while! Nice menu, comfortable seating, and a good staff. Kudos to whomever runs this place.

My wife and I went here for a late lunch and enjoyed our expierence. She loves oysters and me not so much, however the lobster Mac & cheese was AMAZING! A little pricey, however just like with anything else you get what you pay for! If you want it cheap, then you will have poor service and mediocre to poor food. This place is neither of those! A good amount of regulars the bartender seemed to know by visit, drink or occassion.

There are so many good seafood places in Rhode Island, but this is a hidden gem on Main Street in East Greenwich. We came for the $ 1 Oysters at Happy Hour and were not disappointed by the fresh, local array. They were excellent!!! We also each had a bowl of luscious Clam Chowder chock full off fresh local clams, fresh dill and cream. Just a treat!!! I’ve had crab cakes here before which were good, and can’t wait to come back for a full dinner. The full menu looks great!!!

We continue to be amazed at the food and service. Saturday I had the swordfish which was done to perfection. My girlfriend had the best fillet mignon. And the oysters are wonderful as is the service. Hats off to Dave & Shawna.

This was our first time at this restaurant. Small place, but very nicely done inside. Atmosphere is great! Food was excellent. My partner had the Fried Oysters Entrée and I had the Linguine with Clams. I would love to give this place a 5-star rating, but they didn’t get my order correct. I can’t say who was at fault, but the waitress was profusely apologetic. I ordered my dish with white sauce, but arrived with red sauce. I sampled the red, and must say it was great, but I had my heart set on the white. While my partner waited for me to get my plate, he did ask the waitress that I should receive a complimentary glass of wine, which she did bring. It’s too bad that this wasn’t offered instead of having to ask. As we left, my partner asked if I would return. I said yes, because it was very good!

First time here and will be back again. This is the absolute best meal I have had in a long time. I eat out habitually and thought I there was nothing that would impress me… I was wrong. I had the lobster scallop risotto special(picture uploaded with post) and it was THE best! If you are in town be sure to check this place out!

Had amazing fresh oysters! Lobster Mac and Cheese is definitely a dish which I will order again. Fancy Manhattan is a delicious drink… Specially if you like bourbon.

Well we had to return the Clams and linguine, can’t even figure out what was wrong with it but it was just wrong. Lobster bisque was ok, ate most of it. The bisque at BWI airport is better? Staff was apathetic towards sending back food at best. No pride.

My husband and I really enjoy dining here. The service is always attentive without being overbearing, and the food is great. Last night we had the broiled oysters to start and they were superb – cooked perfectly and just the right amount of cheese. We then split a salad and it came out on two separate plates; the servings were quite generous. For an entrée, my husband had the haddock which came with potatoes and asparagus. His only complaint was that the asparagus was salty. Everything else he said was delicious. I asked the waiter if I could have the sautéed calamari(an appetizer) over the linguine(part of another entrée). He said it was not a problem and asked if I wanted it with marinara sauce. I did. The resulting dish was so good – the calamari was tender and the sauce not too heavy at all. My only complaint is that we ate so much great food is that we didn’t have room for dessert. We can always count on a great meal here.

So. I’m excited to report that my review of this spot has certainly improved. I’ve gone twice in the last couple of weeks and it’s been great! Great cocktails, delicious oysters, lobster bisque, sticky calamari, and the list goes on. Definitely worth stopping by for buck a shuck too!

Buck a shuck offers 3 or 4 kinds of fresh oysters at a dollar a shot. how can you beat this deal! They are hand shucked in front of you and purposely prepared on a large bed of crushed ice. The space is very small but also very clean and you feel you are on a beach front bar. The drinks a skillfully prepared and delicious and a decent pour to boot!
