They mounted some skis for me and did a good job. Prices are reasonable. I found they had a good selection. I also bought a helmet and they had many to choose from. I liked the spot and would recommend them. One thing that bugged me was they did not say, «Thank you.» Small thing but I have been in there three times and they were helpful but no thank you.

I really like Anderson’s, in regards to skiing the staff is extraordinarily knowledgeable and they will get you the right equipment for your need. The store’s selection of hardware(skis, boots, bindings, etc) is top notch, although perhaps 10% more costly than you could find online. But what you may sacrifice in price you will make up in knowledge and service. The store also offers seasonal equipment leases which are great for kids as well as a consignment shop of used gear on their second floor.

Brad is one of the most knowledegable people about skis/boots I have ever met. He is amazing. Well worth the trip and the prices are great.

It’s how you survive here in R.I., you have a dive shop in the summer and a ski shop in the fall, not as crazy as you might think. I visited here in July and took advantage of their dive shop. It’s a small but well stocked shop, the guys who work here are very knowledgable and offer good advice, and best of all, seem to really listen to you when you tell them the kind of experience and skill level you have. It’s not the cheapest place to buy stuff, but the information base here is well worth it.
