I placed an order for a combo#5, now the picture looked like a good portion for the amount of 3 people. It took them over 40 mins to deliver and when it was delivered lord the rip off!!! good portion of rice, the beans were just juice no very little beans and the meat was in a lunch size portion aluminum plate, not a combo as the picture presented. The order came to a total of $ 24. We called the restaurant spoke to the lady who takes the order and she placed the manager on the phone. Rude! Rude! Rude! He claimed the portion was correct and basically said there was nothing he can do, no apology, didn’t show any type of concern. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! RIP OFF! They have lost a customer along with other potentials.

I never ever post before, but this restaurants service was so bad. I order a combo for take outs and replace one the chicken meat and the lady gave a price. After waiting 15 minute I’m complaint because they forgot about my order. When they finally got my order they try to give something that I didn’t want so I complain again that not what I order. Finally when they got my order right they decided to charge me extra because they made a mistake. This got me so mad because they try to blame me like I was the person who go order wrong. I never coming back to this place.

They Can be shady if your Spanish sucks like mine but the chicharron is always on point. The food has been the same consistent taste I grew accustomed to while living in the Bx! Still one of my faves.

I usually order my food via walk/​call in and bring it back home. Food is always good to me. Last night I decided to eat in and I enjoyed it. I ordered the stew chicken w/​white rice and beans. House made sangria was on point also. This is a small gem in the area. Restaurant is clean and service is HELLA QUICK. I took one sip of my sangria and next thing I know my food was at the table.
My total bill came to $ 25 plus tip
Dinner plate $ 11
Side plantains $ 3
Sangria $ 7
Which given all the food I was given is great. I packed the rest to take home which was my dinner meal the next day. Close to transportation, BX5 and BX22 stop in front of the restaurant. 6train is down the block also. I’ll def be back for dine in again. They also serve breakfast which Im curious to try soon.

Went for dinner and ordered regular rice and beans and pernil, yellow rice and beans and what was left of the beef stew as the waitress said, 3 slices of Dominican salami and french fries and a lettuce salad a Heineken beer, a can diet pepsi and a lemonaide. The pernil was dried and cold and they charged 46 dollars which I think was a lot.

I love this place! The staff is very friendly and helpful explaining the menu I stop in for lunch at least once a week, the lunch menu is affordable and generous the passion fruit drink is really good

I normally order one of the family combos.
I like the chicharon de pollo sin huezo combo.
I gave it only 3 starts because whenever I try to get delivery they take a very long time and their roasted chicken it’s never ready. Always say «it will be ready in 40 – 45 minutes» The ladies are sometimes rude.

When we called back in for extra mojo sauce they wanted to charge extra and we declined but they failed to deliver any in the first place. Mofongo not that good. And pork chop was very thin. I wouldn’t order from here again.

I have been here a handful of times and I’ve never had a bad experience. The waitresses are so helpful and insightful when I’m not sure what to order. They also have informed me of food options that were not on the menu. They are great. The food is very tasty and full of flavor. It’s refreshing to have this place on castle hill ave. prior to thus place the only other option in the neighborhood was Brisas Del Caribe and they are terrible. They have terrible service, greasy and tasteless food, and horrible ambiance. This place is so much better than brisas del caribe. Yay!!!

This place delivered for my first Mangu breakfast meal. The service could be better hence the 3 stars to allow room for improvement.
