The service is so slow… I asked for my drinks and still waited 40 minutes… This is absolutely crazy…

The food was ok, the drinks are mediocre. The service is slow. Go on a weekday night for easy parking. I know they have another location, I have not had the pleasure but will try it out to compare.

Let me start off by saying I found a dead fly in my salad while I was eating from the salad. When the manager/one of the owners came to speak with me instead of being understanding and sympathetic with what happened he was rude and and some how upset at me. I never asked for my money back and he did not offered to me either. You can see the pictures of the salad I posted here, in the restaurant pictures section.

The food was season nicely, very tasty but service was not that great for us being the only sit down family in the restaurant.

My wife and I been eating here for years we’ve never had a problem with the food and service while eating in the restaurant. Ordering from home is another story while the food is good the delivery time can get horribly long. 45 minutes to an hour wait and I live one block down. Besides that it’s decent.

Marisco Centro is a seafood lover‘s paradise. This spot is much smaller but a lot more cozy than the Washington Heights location. It is the perfect spot for a family to have dinner on a Sunday. I came here with my family. The fried red snaper was delicious. The staff is polite. Bathrooms are clean, and the music is not loud. The rest of the food, vegetables and the tostones were yummy;except for my garlic shrimp. I wish they were a little bit more garlicky. Otherwise, I do recommend this place. Will definitely come back again.

Horrible Horrible Service ordered food at 12 pm and can you believe its 130 and still no food. They should close it down cause they don’t care about customer service.

DANGER!!! DO not dine here. This place completely blows it on so many levels. Horrible, horrible service. My grilled chicken and mushroom sauces was hard and salty. For the price you can get food that you will actually enjoy and servers that actually appreciate your business. DONOTBOTHER

Eh. I live in the area and have eaten a few items from here less than a handful of times but actually ordered full meals today. Not a fan of Brisas and thought this would be a safer bet. Well — this was somewhat accurate. We got one of each of the seafood stuffed chicken options — one covered in red sauce the other in lobster sauce. The former was decent, not too heavy, plus I got it with veggies instead of rice which blended really well. The latter was amazing! The chicken literally melted in your mouth. I didn’t try the rice but the bestie/better half(he eats anything you put in front of him) said it was good. We also ordered the avocado salad which didn’t look too appetizing when we opened it up. It was pretty hearty though — avocado slices, corn, beets(which was a plus for me!) on a bed of iceberg lettuce. Their chocolate mousse is REALLY good. Not sure if it’s made onsite but even if it’s bought in from somewhere else, SOMEONE did an awesome job with it. Not overly sweet and the hint of chocolate chips added into the top layer was a really nice touch. My only gripe today was that the woman serving us(she was really sweet) said that both dishes were on the lunch menu(it was about 4:40pm) so I expected them to be discounted. Each plate was 12.00 which is pretty steep for around here, but hey, you gotta eat. If you’re in the mood for decent Spanish food and don’t want to wait for a table at Sabrosura, this totally beats Brisas’ flavorless behind.

I usually order take out and have been to the restaurant once. If your are looking for an elegant seafood place you my have found the wrong place. I always order the boneless chicken chunks which are good and the seafood soup is a bonus. The price for what I get is also good too.

This place is NOT Inexpensive steaks start at $ 20, Tilapia $ 14, Paella $ 35, and it’s up from there. Their soup was very good fresh seafood flavors, I also enjoyed the Fried Red Snapper with tostones. Sorry to say but if you consider this place good good for their overpricing you haven’t eaten good food.

OMG, what a crappy restaurant. Unlike other reviewers, service was fine, but, like all the other reviews, the food was horrible! The Camarones Scampi(Shrimp Scampi) was unedible. The shrimp tastes old and chewy and the scampi sauce was horrific. The seafood stew that my friend ordered was disgusting too Do not eat here I gave the restaurant one star cause Unilocal does not allow 0 stars and does not have a negative star option

4 stars based on delivery service alone. We order from here at least once a month, this is the best chicharron de pollo sin huesos for the price. You get chicken breast, not crunchy god-knows-what. Big deal, it’s not an amazing seafood experience, you’re on castle hill in the bronx for god’s sake

Marisco Centro certainly feeds your eyes seafood appeal but not your taste. We started with a small portion of fish broth which was decent. Then we followed with the fried calamari which was very nice, not rubbery and very crunchy. I had a couple mojitos which were yum! However, when it came to the meal, I lost hope in Marisco Centro. My husband ordered the seafood rice, which was spanish rice precooked with seafood thrown in. Not too many shrimp and tons of clam and tenticles. It was not cooked together so it didnt have a seafoodish taste. I orderd the fish stuffed with seafood which was the better dish. Fish had a nice taste. I can cook so I know how to decifer tastes! For seafood, it came to the table rather quickly and when the bill came it added to my dissappointment. Umm… almost 180 bucks for what? rice and beans? Listen, I’ve eaten at places that cost that much and the food was ten times better. Marisco Centro… please apologize to me…

Ended up coming here as a last resort when the line to get into Don Coqui was much too long. Their service here is atrocious. Our waitress was a miserable old Sea Hag who rolled her eyes every other second. When I gave her some attitude back she decided to fake a smile while speaking and then roll her eyes. smh Really lady? I ordered the shrimp fra’diablo. The dish was amateur to say the very least and the heat was nonexistent. I could have made a better version myself! I was given about three shrimps, five mussels, and a ton of spaghetti. I’m usually an easy to please person however I will never return to this place. The disrespect that we received from the waitress was too much for me. I felt like throwing a spoon at her face. For over $ 200 just for several plates I would have expected more. The ambiance also looked tacky. But it is in the Bronx so what more could you expect. *relaaax it’s just a joke** *my mom was the only one who REALLY enjoyed her plate. She had the fish con coco*The virgin pina coladas weren’t bad either* I’ll be visiting the one in the city. I like giving good reviews and this restaurant just didn’t deserve one. Get new waitresses and take some pride in your restaurant!

Where do I start here: Service is awful. The food is not food at all. But the worst about this place has to be the prices really you want to paid $ 30 for a sea food dish that’s 80% sausage… you have to be kidding me…
