Cute, small shop with homemade wears. The beeswax lotion bars were really cool. I was hoping to be inspired. And for some reason I thought that they would have cool, hand dyed high-end wool– this place is all completed crafts, not anything you can do with crafts, and some things didn’t actually seem all that crafty/homemade.

If only for the selection of gifts for my mom this place holds in its walls, it deserves 4 stars. Other reasons I’m a fan, though, include that they have a ton of pieces from local artists! They also have stuff from not-so-local artists, but the great thing is that each display is clearly labeled. And you don’t have to be a middle-aged, somewhat artsy, gardener lady to find something you like. I’m a young, hip, fashionable woman(if I do say so myself), and I really liked the watches, mod jewelry, etched glassware, and even some of the silly mugs in the«kids» section. They’ll ship stuff for you, but they charge you later, once they know how much it costs. So, while that’s convenient, it might be easier to take care of it yourself.

This place is fantastic! I think I picked up or touched… oh…everything they had in stock. Their inventory includes a variety of crafts from artisans around the country — scrap wood art(decorative birds and fish), metal art(cool flowers to hang on your wall), pottery, ceramics, decorative tiles, some small paintings… I could decorate my entire house with this stuff. But that’s not all — they have cards, kid’s clothes, even candy. I walked away with a birthday present for a friend and a bronze owl for me. Strong contender for one of the coolest places in Ninth Street!
