Gilley’s

Second trip worse than the first. Thought we would give it another shot since our last visit here was over 2 years ago. The service was horrible then and the food only mediocre. This time, we didn’t even get served. Four tables occupied at 5 on a Saturday. No one eating. Seated right away but no waitress. Five minutes in, no service. Greeter finally came back and said we should have a waitress shortly. Brought us water after another five mins. The table next to us left. We flagged the greeter down again and she said they were in the middle of a shift change. Three or four girls waiting tables in the bar, not none in the restaurant? Didn’t want to chance it and left. Why keep the restaurant open if all you want to be is a bar?

Food was good not great once we finally got it. Service abysmal. Waited almost an hour after waitress took our order. She came back to say she forgot to put it in and forgot what it was. The only good thing was she forgot how many drinks we had and charged us for too few.

Can this be any worse? Fifteen minutes to get a drink. Forty for an ap and no plates, because they’re busy. …And hey, I have time to write a review because an hour out and we still haven’t seen entrée. Look at the calendar, there is a concert tonight. #worstexperienceever

Service with a smile is not their motto. We have been here before and had a pleasant experience however, this time it was completely different. All of the waitresses were standing around at the waitress station ignoring customers and looking like they were all unhappy to be at work. If you are going to have a place for waitresses to stand around then perhaps it would be better to put it where customers cannot see them. Our waitress took our order for food before even asking if we wanted an appetizer, and then brought us our check before we finished eating and did not offer any dessert. We felt rushed and like it was bothering her to even service is. When taking our order, she asked my father-​in-​law what two side dishes he wanted with his meal then his food came out with completely different side dishes, her response was «oh I forgot you don’t get a choice with that meal». That could’ve been explained to him before his food was brought and he was served items he does not like. It is not likely that we will be back.

Not what we expected. Service poor. Had a picture of a beer we wanted and asked the waitress for the beer and she said they didn’t have it.

This place is terrible. The service is terrible. They didn’t know how to cook a steak. The food was cold when we finally got it. They weren’t busy at all and it was still terrible.

We went here to see a few concerts while at the casino for the weekend. We should have gotten there sooner as the place filled up around 10:00 pm and there was nowhere to sit. We stood against a rail to watch the band. The dance floor is right in front of the stage which takes up the better part of the room. The next night we got a table a few hours earlier and were good to go! The service was better than average from a friendly local girl. The crowd wasn’t too rowdy and everyone seemed to be having a good time.
I ordered some cheese sticks which came out as cheese patties. They didn’t look as good as they tasted, pretty darned good! They serve them with salsa and ranch dressing. My mother in law had quesadillas and she said they were very good.
Bathrooms were clean and overall easy to get to when the place got crowded.

Food had been warmed over several times, must have been under a heat lamp. Baked potatoes hard and wouldn’t even melt the butter. Steaks were over cooked and also had been sitting some time before they were served to us. Management did offer a free desert… lol $ 5.00 a beer… Really!

I was visiting from out of town. It was girls nite so we dressed up that Saturday night. When we walked in, ppl gave us the dirtiest looks, felt unwelcome. Note to self, wear tshirt and jeans so you won’t stand out… it is a small town. Bar was nice, ok music and good drinks. They threw in a few popular songs everyone knew dances to so ppl would get on floor.

We went to Gilley’s to grab a bite before a concert and it was not a great experience at all. We ordered ribs, and while one order was enough to feed 3 people, they were hands down the worst ribs I’ve ever had. They were dry and so salty!!! The cole slaw was also very salty and the sweet tea was instant. Really? It takes too much effort to brew tea I guess. The waitresses were pleasant but when it came to splitting the check between 2 cards, even the manager couldn’t do it. That’s never happened to me in an eating establishment before.
I realize Gilley’s is supposed to be a bar and not a restaurant but if you are going to serve food to the public at least make sure it’s something you yourself would eat.

Was a slow night, but the waitress was very friendly. Loved the décor. Had the nachos, flying hogs and jalapeño beans. All very tasty.

Gilley’s…Yes it’s in Durant, Ok inside Choctaw Casino. Food and if you go in the evening the entertainment is great. If you go while they are busy ask to sit @ the bar, better service. also, the mechanical bull is quite entertaining too!
