This place shouldn’t even get a 1 star! It was so bad! Walking in I thought it was gonna be pretty good considering I paid a lot for two people! The way the cashier spoke to the sit host! He greeted us and she told him«learn another language to greet people! It’s annoying and old. Like you.» Yeah ummm no don’t disrespect anyone! And the way our waiter grabbed the ticket out of his hand and told him to «go on somewhere.» Was even worse! Honestly if it wasn’t for the fact we were hunger I would have walked out right then! Okay so to the food part! You get 2 to 3 choices for food from each little spot. The food was half done most of it was cold and the rest was not even warm! We waited over 30 minutes after being sited to get a drink refill! The dessert was ices and sprinkles. The pictures on the website and the reviews is total bullshit! It was nothing like what they actually had! Honestly your better off going somewhere else! The food was so bad we ate somewhere else!!!

We loved our stay this weekend at the new Spa Tower and loved our time in the Oasis Pool even more BUT it’s time for the Buffet and other Food options to be upgraded as well. The food quality, staff and cleanliness all need to be re-evaluated by the Management team. For the price and quality of our stay this weekend, I had much higher expectations for the food.

We haven’t been here in about a year but I remember the food being better. The fried catfish is chewy, the BBQ was steamed, the fresh bar did not taste fresh, the spring roll tasted like soap and overall most the food was bland. However, service is great, the asian food was good, the bread pudding was good and this place was fair priced and clean.

They have several specialty stations set up including Mexican, Southern, Seafood, Asian, Italian and Desserts. We had the crab legs and a little variety of everything else. Be sure to pay attention to the different sections of crab legs to be sure you get what you’re expecting. One pan had cold ones and the second had hot crab. They were very good! The prime rib was surprisingly delicious! The sweet tea was real sweet so opt for the half and half if you wouldn’t like super sweet tea. The dessert area featured an ice cream machine with a topping bar, cheesecake tarts, pastries and a wide variety of mini pies to choose from. I also noticed a special section of «sugar free» baked desserts. Our server was very attentive and friendly. She kept our drinks full and dirty dishes cleared. Give it a try, for $ 20.00 a person it’s a deal.

Lots of food none especially good. They ran out of prime rib at 8 pm we were hoping for some vegetables and fruit but were disappointed there were so few. Most people filled up on the shrimp and crab legs. Not a great choice of vegetables.

***If you go during non-peak times, the price for this casino buffet is not bad, but the food is; while this buffet offers a variety of stations(Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Southern, desserts, and so on), almost all of the food here is very poor quality; the best thing here might be their sirloin, which is sliced to order though it is very fatty*** Self parking is free at this casino.

Small review for a small variety of food, which was bland. Desserts were my favorite out of everything, since you can’t really go wrong with sweets. Also, there were so many open tables and they sat us at a dirty table and told us they’ll have it cleaned by the time we come back with our food, unappetizing. One star for good cashier lady. She was so sweet.

Went there today for lunch and it was disgusting. The only thing that look s Appealing was the tamales. Even the dessert was gross. Will not be going back and would rather stick to the buffet at win star

First of all, I am Choctaw and I recently moved to Durant. I am very proud to be a member of the Choctaw tribe. I am ashamed to be associated with the restaurant, Butterfields, if it is indicative of a worthwhile food establishment placed within the Choctaw resort. My wife and I decided that since Butterfields was having a Thanksgiving meal, we would celebrate as we were informed of the festivities. We got our players cards and proceeded to the restaurant. The line was extremely long, indicating the food would be worth eating. Needless to say, ITWASNOT. 1. Bussers placed bus tubs in empty chairs when finished bussing, and did not wipe out any chairs. 2. We asked for a table, not a booth. We were given a table for two that was so close to another table that when people passed by, they consistently bumped my table, chair or arm. I asked to be moved and was accommodated. 3. After we were given our drinks, it took several minutes for our server to return and check up on us. 4. I went to the salad bar and salad plates were very warm. I asked for a chilled plate and was given a cooler plate but not chilled. Salad choices were good. 5. I went all around the center area(I guess it was only the salad bar) looking for turkey and dressing. I looked for assistance and the Food and Beverage Director showed me where to get turkey or ham. The next area I visited was the Asian food area. I asked is this where I get turkey dressing and one person said yes and put on my plate some kind od Asian chips. Again I looked for assistance and was shown the line for getting the turkey dressing, green bean casserole, cheese potatoes and some kind of flat bread. 6. The turkey appeared to be scraps instead of slices, the ham was like sliced rubber, and the green bean casserole was very watery. The turkey was dry with no gravy to put on the turkey or dressing(the dressing still had crisp bread crumbs, that were dry and unpalatable. Where were the mashed potatoes? Cranberry jellied was at the salad bar, not near the turkey. 7. The desserts were cold as if they had just been served without thawing or heating. The only dessert that was half way decent was the chocolate fudge. 8. The only good items were the sweet tea, salad. How can you say you have good, quality food, when Golden Coral has poor food, but yet it is better than Butterfields and sold at a better price? Very disappointed, disgusted and ashamed you represent the Choctaw Nation. Shape up or ship out.

Not very good. I sampled a bit of everything trying to find something that was worth eating. Nearly all the food was, at best, on par with a decent microwave dinner. The egg drop soup was gag worthy. Even the desserts were not really worth eating… and I usually love dessert. I do not remember it being bad a few years ago but we certainly will not eat there again unless things change. I would expect much better from a «resort» casino buffet.

Went there with a group and one in our party got food poisoning. Mahi mahi tasted fishy… Never good. My kids eat better food at school! It’s a disaster and basically unedible!

We went to this place for dinner Sat. evening and we did not have a vip players card so we had to pay full price which was $ 26.99. The food was horrific! Golden Corral is better than this place and that’s saying a lot because Golden Corral sucks here in Texas. The food was either bland or way too salty. The mashed potatoes were full of skin and that would be okay if they used red potatoes but they used russet. They had a sign that you could place an order for mongolian stir fry so we went to order some and they said they didn’t have all the ingredients for it so they couldn’t make it! The best thing there was the salad bar and the rice krispies treats. Usually a buffet for $ 26.99 has seafood but this one did not have any seafood at all. I will not be going back to this place. Do not waste your money!

Yum! I love this place. I really can’t understand the mediocre rating because when I went, it was definitely a 5 star visit! There were soooo many choices, now that I think about it. I’ve never really seen a buffet with that much variety. Everything was so fresh and delicious. A stand out for me was the spring rolls, better than at an «authentic» Vietnamese restaurant. I don’t really eat crab legs, but they seemed to be a hit with the other patrons. They never seemed to run out. I thought the desserts could use a little sprucing up. I saw so many cakes but didn’t see any cheesecake which is what I had a hankerin’ for. The staff was pretty friendly. This buffet is way better in my opinion than the one at the Winstar World Casino. Make sure you have your player card because they give a slight discount on the buffet price. We will be back next time we visit Choctaw!

I love to eat and was really looking forward to going to this buffet. I was so disappointed. Never have I had such a poor dining experience. If I could give them zero stars, I would. The hostess was standing at the hostess booth drinking a Dr. Pepper and complaining her high diabetes being out of control and my waitress was on her cell phone talking to someone telling them that she loved them as she came to our table. I could have dealt with the unprofessionalism if the food had been good, but unfortunately it was terrible. I tried almost everything on the buffet and the only thing that was palatable was the jerk chicken, and the chicken tortilla soup. Everything else was cold, dry, and/or severely under seasoned. Even the baked goods were unedible. I mean seriously, how do you mess up a chocolate chip cookie? I left just as hungry as I did when I came in and would NEVER go back. This place needs a serious overhaul.

Ate there last thursday feb.21,2013 all I can say is that if this is a buffet then Golden Corral is Bob’s Chop House in Dallas. The best part of this meal? was the salad bar and the coffee… the rest was… well, I’ve had better/fresher prepared food in an Army mess hall. I think you get the idea.

We are still giving this buffet a four start rating. We ate there yesterday. The food was plentiful and good and as I have written elsewhere the food in not outstanding. Had the fried catfish which was very good, the crab legs which were small and a lot of work. There no not furnish anything to crack those legs open. The Mexican bar was seldom visited by the guest. The Italian bar was busy however none of us ate from it. The salad bar was very good and kept full of salad items. The pork ribs had too much bar b sauces for me however that’s just my taste,. You might like them. There was baked salmon yesterday and before we had cod. The salmon was very good. There are serval choices of vegetables however I must confess they all taste like they came out of a big-big can. Seasoning was not to be found. The desert bar has lots of goodies and each one we sampled was very good. Apple pie, peach cobbler, serval different cakes and soft service ice where you can make your one carmel or chocolate sundae. Waitresses serve you coffee or tea which is in the buffet prices, thus no extra charges. The wait service is very attentive and courteous. Some folks did not leave a tip and I disagree as these women worked hard to please the diners. There was cleaning taking place at all times thus we found the are we were eating in to be very well maintained. Some diners chose not to keep their areas clean as some children dropped food all over the place. TIP – ask to be seated in an area away from a large table of small children otherwise your meal may not be as pleasant as you anticipate. With the discount card the buffet was only $ 7.99 — -that is a bargain.

Now I love buffets, I guess its just the thought of knowing that you can eat, eat, eat until you can’t eats no more that gets me all giddy inside. The buffet here is pretty standard, it has all the staple foods a buffet should. This place is divided into sections, they have Asian, Italian, American, and Mexican foods. They also have a Salad bar, fresh fruits, and deserts. Overall, I can say that the food is okay at best, Nothing spectacular. I guess the best bit is that they usually have special pricing for members using your player’s card. This usually makes it the best and really the ideal choice when eating while at the casino.

Bland, typical buffet food. Asian, Italian, southern, Mexican, salad bar and desert bar. I tried almost everything they had to offer and wasn’t impressed. Overpriced, hot and humid, poor waitstaff… next time we will be trying the steakhouse!
