My husband and I listed our town home with DPM for many years and we were never happy with Kerry and her work ethic. Not only was she difficult to get in touch with, (we once waited for over an hour at her office for her to show up to work… in the morning, on a weekday), but she was never friendly or enjoyable to work with. The cleaning service she uses is horrible, and her fee is extremely high, considering the amount of work she actually does. Perhaps we weren’t «important» enough for her to actually do the job we were paying her to do, or maybe she just didn’t like us; either way, this is a company I would avoid at all costs.
We finally ended our relationship with her after my husband discovered that our town home wasn’t actually listed anywhere on her website, yet she was still charging us a $ 50 per month fee to simply do that. She did refund the money, but only after we complained about it (and giving the excuse that she needed «more info», which is bull. She had been responsible for our rental for years and we have proof that the last email sent to her explicitly instructed her to put it up for rent with the information she already had).
In today’s world a property manager is almost as obsolete as a travel agent, especially one who does nothing but take your money and act rude and unprofessional. She was only consistent with one thing; making us feel like we were putting her out every time we asked her to do anything regarding our rental. If I could give zero stars, I would have. I’m a business owner too, and there’s absolutely no way I could stay in business if I treated my customers as badly as Durango Property Management.

Horrible company. Have had nothing but negative experiences since moving into the place im at 3 months ago. We have been lied to about several things here. We are supposed to have free wifi that is included in our lease and have not had that at all in the 3 months I have lived at the place im at. We were supposed to have a thermostat installed in the place. That didnt happen til month 2 here. We were told we could use a shed in the backyard and now they said we couldnt and had a sheriff come out to tell me to move my stuff. I have this table that they said they would move out as soon as possible and that table is still here and they say its a fixture of this apartment since it was here when we moved in. This is not mine or my roommates table. They dont respond to emails at all. Just a terrible company to rent from. I feel as though they have no care for their tenants what so ever, they only care whether or not they get a rent check not whether the tenant is happy at all. 1 star to this terrible terrible unprofessional property management comapny

They will rip you off. Steal your money. Lie to you. And then they will tell you it was all your fault and take more of your money. If you have the choice, do not rent from them.

Kerry– as I told you before the information in my review is correct. Did sign a two year lease and we did go almost a whole winter without heat. I don’t care what your policy says that’s the way it was. You wouldn’t have anyone named Daisy because it is my nickname not my legal name and I have a right to my privacy online. I wrote this review 2 year ago and have long since moved. There is no way you can make this up to me just try and do better in the future. Kerry I have asked you repeatedly to leave me alone can you please do so now.
