I’ve only been here once but I was pretty satisfied with what I ordered. I got a Chicken plate which included rice and beans. I will definitely come back again if I’m around the area and craving for Mexican food.

First time here. walked in with chilaquiles on my mind, but when I walked in and saw almost everyone with a menudo bowl in front of themost I changed my mind. they say you can tell if u live something by the first bite. Well, as soon as I tried the menudo and I am in. I can’t wait to share this delicious food with my daughter. She loves menudo. Gotta try it. Everything they have looks so good.

The food is delicious and well priced. It’s a small place but worth the trip. Try the gorditas!

I was in the area and was craving shrimp ceviche and remembered how tasty theirs was the last time I ordered it. I got a pound of shrimp ceviche that came with maybe a quarter of an avocado and 5 tostadas. It did not disappoint! I just wish I had more avocado. This was $ 9. I also got a pork tamale since I saw a sign noting they only had them on Saturdays and Sunday’s. I was sorely disappointed since there was WAY too much masa. I must say though, the masa was smooth, so that was a plus. I just wished they had more meat in the tamale.

Love the home feel. Went through a bone marrow transplant at city of hope and been using poloma as a clean cooking place to get food. I trust them the food is always too notch and it’s clean.

Tried a gordita here and it was delicious. Also tried taquitos which I loved! Very small place, when we went it wasn’t so busy so there was enough space. Will return if I’m in the area.

The meat is fresh and very tender. I usually pick up meat here but not often just cause the men are usually quiet but still good quality !

Try this place because I had a friend at the city of hope hospital. Decided to try and grab a bite at this place and it is delicious. I had the adobada Burrito and my wife had the bean and cheese burrito both were delicious. And their bakery was pretty good too. Love the fact that they use handmade tortillas for the tacos right on the facility. Next time you’re stuck in traffic on the 210 freeway stop by here and grab yourself some food.

Great, affordable authentic Mexican food. They have a large menu. Friendly & fast service. The prices are better than any similar restaurant. It’s my new favorite Mexican restaurant.

Beware that they put beans underneath your asada tacos. Hmmmm… interesting, but not what I requested. So ya get some beans to putt putt your day along. They were good… different. Big refrigerated glass deli box’s is what you see walking in the door and about 20 feet down is the cashier. Tables wern’t very clean, If you walk to the back of the business and completely around the back of the room, you will find another small seating area. The service is ok.

Very upset, I love me some tacos, I don’t eat pork. I asked for 2 asada tacos and two chicken tacos, they gave me three tacos. I decided to wait for the forth when they said the third is coming up. I waited and they gave me «Buche-taco» pig throat or esophagus. For the last taco. I put it in my mouth, and immediately spite it back out. WTF! They knew what they did if you ask me. I said this is pig, they said its buche. I told her what I had ordered and she said, «not buche?» I said no. Then they gave me a tortilla with marinated chicken in a tomato sauce and called it a chicken taco, nothing close to the chicken taco I had on my other plate! I’m never coming here again.

Great service and burritos! I got the cactus and chorizo burrito. The best salsa/condiments bar in the area! I’ll definitely come back.

I didn’t think their carne asada burrito was good at all. I was recommended by the ford people but it was just aweful tasting. Yuck

I’m giving it 2 stars because it was very well priced, otherwise I would have given it 1. The burrito is very greasy(dripping oil) and not really tasty at all. Tacos are very bland, tamales were okay but nothing to brag about. The ladies serving the food used their bare hands to load the ingredients on the burrito and taco, pretty disgusting. They were really nice, but very unsanitary. Won’t go back again, dont waste your time here.

When you order huevos a la Mexicana make sure to tell them easy on the oil or they will put too.much. The food is ok not mad for a small place and staff is really friendly. They sell tamales and make them here as well my friend said they were delicious. …

Machaca and egg is delicious especially with the red pepper mole style salsa. It’s wonderfully spicy. I recommend the breakfast burritos from here… huge portion and very inexpensive.

Possibly the best mexican menudo ive had! Came here on a sunday morning right after work. There was no line forming and was able to order right away. I ordered the large size menudo which i believe was $ 6 and some change. It was so flavorful and tasted very fresh. They even make fresh tortillas from scratch which complement the menudo very well. Will definitely be back.

Love how this restaurant is super authentic but the food I’ve ordered have been more of a miss than a hit. :/ I think I ordered the enchilada combo the first time and yesterday I ordered the chilaquiles with rice and beans. The enchiladas weren’t as cheesy and saucy and flavorful as I liked. But Chilaquiles was slightly better. It’s usually hard for me to find authentic chilaquiles at a restaurant where the tortilla chips are cooked ’til it has sort of the mushy consistency. La Paloma has the right texture but I didn’t like their sauce. I’ll order it with the red sauce next time and maybe that’ll make the difference? The beans and rice are super good. I could just eat the sides with tortillas anyday. The workers are nice so 2.5 stars rounded to 3.
