For what it is, this is a tasty little joint. Nobody here’s trying to be fancy, it’s just a straight up good little Mexican spot. Ordered a carnitas burrito and the waitress brought chips and 3 types of salsa to my table. Love that! I’ll be back

This place has good tamales that I bought at Christmas time. This is for their special on the window — breakfast burrito. Potato, egg, cheese with choice of sausage, ham, or bacon. Pretty good. The day after I got this, they raised the price.

I ordered a carne asada sole and the asada fries and the were okay. The flavors were there and the portion was reasonable. The meat however was not so great. The meat was not tender and very fatty. I had spit out most of the meat because I could not chew it. But the staff seems friendly and nice. Ordered my food to go and it came out really quick.

My family and I went today after church. We had fish tacos, lunch buffet, and burritos ahogados. The food was hot which I liked a lot. The servers were also very friendly! You should check it out

Been here a few times, always satisfied with our meals. I always order from the menu and the food is always cooked fresh and to order. The morning staff are the owners and always very polite. The afternoon waitress is also very nice and polite, always checking on our table for refills.

My husband and I went to this place once with a coupon from and we liked it. I got the nachos and they were huge. He got a wet burrito and said it was good. They brought us three salsas: One basic tomato salsa, one green and black oily one(hubby said it tasted like dirt), and a bright red enchilada sauce one. They’re not so great separately, but when you play with them and mix them together, they get better. The chicken in my nachos was cut into tiny cubes, like dog food, but it didn’t taste too bad. Odd shape to nacho meat, though. HOWEVER. The reason I gave it one star was our second(and LAST) visit — We went after dark(but still early), I ordered the exact same thing, and we had to abandon ship before we had begun eating, there were TERMITES falling onto our table from the ceiling, in our food, in our drinks, in our hair, onto our shoulders… at least two seemed to fall every second. I waited outside while my husband tried to deal with the check. They did NOT give us our money back, but packed up new entrees for us to take home, which we did NOT eat. We put the bag on the dinner table and began killing termites that were climbing and flying out of it. Repulsive. Never again.

If youre craving authentic Taco Truck tacos, then this is your place. I love their tacos, I prefer the«Al Pastor». My family and I have made this place our official mexican taco place. If you havent tried their chorizo tacos, I suggest you do so!

Walked over for their lunch buffet since its right next door to my work. The buffet was pretty small. Rice, beans, a bland noodle soup, enchiladas. They did have potato tacos which was a good thing. I think it was 6.99. Maybe 5.99. Either way, I was thinking about the Acapulco Lunch Buffet. No, I don’t love Acapulco, but it has its uses. Namely buffets and free tidbits at Happy Hour. For a maybe dollar more I could get a big variety of stuff at Acapulco. My friend said her fried fish was good. Nothing special, but good. But I guess if you eat a lot, and really love enchiladas and dry chicken, and potato tacos, then the buffet will be a good lunch deal for you. It was a full house for lunch when we went. I think it was all athe people from my work.

Don Reyes is like King Taco’s ugly stepsister. If you’re around the Duarte area, then it may serve as a decent place to pick up a handful of tacos for a quick bite. I’ve had the carnitas, carne asada, and pollo tacos. All of the tacos are cooked fresh, however, the meat(regardless of the source) always ends up a little dry. The marinades for the meat are also mediocre. The salsa picante is spicy enough, but tastes mostly like roasted red pepper. They add way too much onions for my taste, so I normally ask for, «una poca cebolla.» Most of the employees can speak English, so you can go ahead and call in your order. Pros– They have a running promotion where after 6PM, you can get tacos for 75 cents. Never had any issue with the bubblies.
