Latte was decent, however I didn’t particularly like being argued with about the temperature of my coffee. I’ve been ordering them«extra hot» for 20+ years. Please don’t try to school me on what temp milk scalds at. Tsk tsk

Came here for dessert after a terrible dinner elsewhere. I was pleasantly surprised! Staff let us sample any flavors, and the ice cream was the best I’ve had this season. Décor of the café was very quaint, the music was perfect and my husband and I sat by the window eating our ice cream and sipping our cappuccinos. It was a great pick me up! And just a small bit of ice cream will fill you up. The price wasn’t bad either. Wish I lived in the area, because I would definitely come back! The cappuccinos and Gelato took me back to when I was travelling in italy. Wonderful experience.

Cute little coffee shop in a beautiful historic building in the heart of Doylestown. They serve all the popular coffee house style drinks, as well as the classics. I enjoyed a cappucino and linzer torte on this visit. The capp was superb and the pastry was very fresh and delish! This gem thrives even though it is pretty much across the street from St**bucks. They also serve a nice variety of gelato and ice cream. I love supporting small local business and will definitely stop here for my coffee when I am in Dtown.

A very quaint café with a good section of baked goods — the cannolis are an must try! They also have gelato and ice cream too. Something for everyone. Today I had an americano perfectly smooth and perfect for an afternoon break. Will be coming back :-)

Fantastic coffee right in the heart of Doylestown. Right next to the County Theater so it’s the perfect pit stop before a show. These guys understand the art of coffee, stop in and be wowed!

I went in here to grab a quick cup of coffee on the way to a play. I felt a cool vibe upon walking in. Of course the guys playing electric guitar and bass in the corner helped! I thought that the dark coffee was pretty good, even black. I would definitely go again and try some some additional brews. They make all kinds of espresso drinks but I think I just really love coffee!

Nice place, good coffee and such. Lots of choices for both coffee and something to accompany it.

The owners and staff need an attitude check. It’s like they are annoyed that they have to serve you.

Nonno’s is the place if you’re in D-town looking for some good coffee. As others have said, Chris is the man. If he’s there, then you are assured to have a wonderful espresso. I talked with him at length about the«old school» way he calibrates the grind and espresso machines(one cup at a time). So if he is bouncing off the walls, then you know the machines are set. Also, the Nonno’s crew loves dogs and always has fresh, clean water out front. A big plus in my book. Double Espresso Long Pull. That’s the ticket.

Very good gelato, we had the fig and chocolate raspberry truffle and it was fabulous! I’m not much for coffee but my wife loved the coffee ice cubes in her iced coffee, she usually has her coffee in the am so this was a nice touch!

I stop in here from time to time for a bag of coffee because they do have some decent beans but on average it is a little overpriced($ 16 for a pound of beans). I’ve never tried anything else here so if I do in the future, I’ll update my review. Service is ok although the last two times I stopped in the person ringing me up was describing everything he was doing while doing it which was sort of odd, but it may have been one of those things someone does without realizing they were doing it. I think there is something missing here but I just don’t know what… yet. I guess it’s hard to put some pizazz into a coffee shop these days when they are everywhere.

The iced coffee was sub par considering the price. It was watery and the total cost was over $ 7 for 3SMALLWATERY iced coffees What seemed like a cute coffee shop in Doylestown tuned into a money pit and the addition of lots of cream and sugar to make up for the coffee’s taste. The seating outdoors is what boosted this rating up to 2 stars.

Love this place! I stop in every time I’m in the area for coffee and gelato, which is delicious. The lattes are also pretty tasty. Service is friendly. They’ll let you sample any of their gelato or ice cream flavors. I’d take this place over any mainstream coffee joint any day! My only suggestion is pleeeasssee bring back the pistachio gelato. It is my favorite! =D

Nonno’s looks like it’s been around forever. Its old school décor and finishes certainly makes one feel that is been a staple in Doylestown for years, though I’m not sure if that’s the case. Regardless, it’s quite a nice place to sit and have either something sweet or a coffee after dinner. The pricing is a bit up there($ 6+ for a large latte) but the quality was great, and it’s rather nice to not have to go to Starbucks to get a respectable cup of coffee. Seating is limited, and in the few times we stopped by there were several people working on their laptops hogging up most of the tables. Management didn’t seem to mind, unfortunately.

Very good coffee and ice cream in the doylestown area. They have ice cream and Gelato flavors. I got cappuccino chip and it was very good. Indoor and outdoor seating.

In a world where nobody in retail talks to you anymore, it’s nice to find a store where the barista is personable, makes a good Latte, and suggests ice cream treats that you just can’t turn down. Nonno’s features a full coffee menu, numerous thick, rich ice cream treats, and gelato too. Everything we tried was great, and the good customer service was a nice treat too. Highly recommended.

So I come here all the time. I love the coffee and ice cream. But recently I’ve been really irritated with the service. I know it’s winter. But if the hours are posted, I would expect they’d be open to the hour. Why am I getting rudely rejected at 8:35 when they close at 9? For a cup of coffee and some ice cream? I know there’s a lot of things that need to be taken care of before closing. But that is NOT how you run a business. If they reject customers at 8:35 and employees plan to be out by 9, then the owner should be changing the hours. Any other business is open until said posted time and do not start to clean up until after. And the fact that the employees were rude doesn’t help either. Don’t get mad at me for showing up when you are technically supposed to be open. I’m understanding. I know I came late but what I came for doesn’t take time and is already made. I would’ve expected at least for them to say hey we’re closing but let me help you out since you’re here, but know for next time or whatever. This has happened not once. Not twice. It seems to happen every damn time.

I could not be more impressed. The shop itself is adorable and makes you want to sit down and get comfortable. I got a latte and it was delicious, but what stood out to me was how friendly the employee was. As he made my coffee he chatted with me in a way that made me feel instantly welcome. He knew several of the people by name who came in and seemed genuinely interested in the lives of his regulars. All in all I will definitely come back. Also, I read in some reviews that it was cash only, but they have a device to process them now!

We got the gelatos only because unfortunately their dessert display had very few items(i was looking for cake/cupcakes but it was mostly hard cookies). The strawberry cheesecake one was OK, a bit too thick but the fig one was so delicious and unique. Also, $ 4 for one scoop is a bit much, considering this is not center city Philly.

Nonno’s Italian Coffee Parlor is what a true café should be. It is attractive to visit with its old wooden fixtures and furniture; it is truly artisanal in how it produces its signature drinks, both hot and cold; and offers creamy, colorful Gelato and bakery sweets to complete a wonderful experience. It is no wonder that the place is packed from morning to night. People know a great thing when they sit and taste it. It really is that good! But, there is a downside to success. If you just want to stop in/take out a latte or capp, or even a small lemon gelato slurp, you may end up waiting as long as those people choosing to sip/dine in. The service is often slow, making a quick business stop on the way to the office or a meeting, problematic. They really need to figure out how to handle the crowds that love their stuff. The snaking line doesn’t work when feeling rushed. The other issue is the no credit card policy. What’s up with that?! Normally, that suggests a few financial problems that obstruct the acceptance practices of the offering banks. The success of this venture suggests otherwise. Cash flow does not appear to be the problem. Offering an ATM in the back hall by the bathrooms is not really the image a Eurostyle café should be demonstrating. This situation detracts from the customer service expected in quality establishments, and should be rectified. But, man, the drinks are good. Makes the annoying sloth-like pace and cash only deal tolerable as long as I am not in a hurry. To make 5 Star rank these things need to be fixed.
