Provided a loaner sax while repairs being made.
Not only did they do a fine job, but they were very quick too.
Nice adjustments to the horn. Made a few suggestions to keep an eye on. I was very happy I took my sax to Band Source. Not a high end sax — high school band — but they treated me nice just the same.
Also they are very nice about trying out stuff. Have a small chamber to help you hear the sound (and not feel like your bugging everyone in the shop).
They know what they are doing.
This is a very nice shop where they care about the customer. I would recommended them if you need a tune-​up like I did. they also don’t try to push a junk instrument on you just to sell you something. They want happy customers and don’t sell you something you don’t need or is beyond a high school student. I appreciated that. And nice advice about step-​up horns, what to consider, and let me try various combinations. No rush either. I played as long as I liked. Pete was a very knowledgeable guy and Jared (repairs) was spot on. Great guys.

This is a great store dedicated to woodwind and brass instruments, accessories, music, and repairs. Sort of your SOURCE for BAND stuff. The professional players come here for instruments and repairs, and teachers and students from area schools do too. Their prices are competitive, and their service is excellent. If they don’t have it in stock, they’ll order it. And they do stock a supply of instruments and mouthpieces that you can try out before you buy. I can’t say enough about this place, they are near where I live, and are my default supplier, but they’re worth a drive from almost anywhere.
