Strong entry to the OTP taco scene. No bar, but they have liquor. Good service, although they looked at me like an alien when I walked in before warmly welcoming me. Music is WAY too loud, as others have said. But the food? Quite good. Honestly, I am shocked that these far flung taco spots are typically *much* better than metro Atlanta spots. Not sure why, but that’s a question for another day. The tacos are pretty good. Easily a 7 out of 10. Store bought corn tortillas, but they are tasty and they actually cook them a bit for firmness before serving. I had chicken and carnitas. Meat was well seasoned, but a bit on the dry side. Prices are cheap. If you somehow find yourself in Douglasville(I’m so sorry for you) and craving tacos, check these guys out.

Great food and price. Can’t believe I haven’t discovered this before! Lunch specials from $ 3.99. Very pleasant staff. Close to freeway. Lunch fajitas excellent. Tender chicken. Fluffy Mexican rice.

Was very excited to come to Los Tacos. Ambiance: nice space with a DJ and dance floor. The music was too high. We requested the music be lowered but it was still too loud for being so early in the evening. Service: Host was quick and attentive when we came in. However, the server forgot some initial portion of our order. Food: The food was good. Very big portions. A plate for one person could probably feed two. I had regular steak and chicken tacos. The salsa bar was good but it was hard to tell what was what, which is good to know for those that want mild spice levels. The green salsa is not avocado. I would recommended but do not see myself coming back.

I was excited to come eat at Los Tacos, but I was disappointed with my experience. The second we sat down the music was way too high, while I understand they have a dance floor, it was only 730. The waiter forgot a few things from our order and the restaurant was pretty empty. The food could have been better as well. The four tacos I got were really greasy. Won’t be coming back.

Authentic Mexican and strong margaritas served here! We went here because we were in Douglasville and looking for something other than a chain restaurant and decided to stop here. We started with a pitcher of margaritas and were surprised by how strong, but also good they were. We all ended up ordering the tacos with various fillings; mine had pastor meat and it was flavorful and juicy on a bed of soft shell tacos with onions and cilantro to top it off. Even better was the price of it all, getting an entire meal for around $ 10 with tip

Their food is really excellent. It’s very fresh, and it’s down to Earth, straight forward. In an age of self proclaimed«Foodies» and«food hipsters» who expect life to be like what they have been told to think by their television, and the current fads, this place is no BS. Their prices are good, and the salsa bar is while no frills, has great handmade salsas, and they don’t cater to us gringos. If you can’t handle spicy, then leave it alone! And this is how it ought to be. They work hard to grow their business, and I support what they do. But they have a few flaws. For one, they charge too much for drinks. Iced tea should not cost 2.00. Just my opinion. Fortunately they got rid of the white folks doing karaōke on Friday night. Nothing against my own race, but they were pretty bad. The Lation couple they have doing karaōke are good, BUTIT’S FREAKINGLOUD! I mean it, it’s so loud, you just want to inhale your food, and get the heck out. The other thing — the peppers and other food on the the salsa bar get stored at such cold temperatures that they get freeze damage. This make those items look unappetizing, and gives them a nasty texture when you eat them. They have a really great buffet on Saturday. I know of no other Mexican buffets anywhere in town. But I wish they’d drop the price a bit. Otherwise, I recommend you try this place out. Support a small local business, and enjoy some fresh food. I suggest the street/traditional tacos or the enchiladas with verde sauce. A helpful photo would be a plate of those beautiful enchiladas I just mentioned.

Love this place. I’ve had many of the items on their menu and everything is wonderful. Their prices are great too. Very traditional Mexican food and nice wait staff. They have a salsa bar and a great menu for kids. You cannot go wrong with Los Tacos and you should try the place out.

I came to this place for some authentic tacos. I walked in to place a to go order and was starred at like I didn’t belong there(I’m an african American woman). I was handed a menu and I decided I wanted to substitute chicken or beef for shrimp. I knew they served shrimp because it was all over the menu. When I was ready to place my order I said I would like the tacos but with shrimp. The woman’s response was no. This lady had a «too bad» smirk on her face. I said well I don’t eat meat, do you all have fish? «No sorry» she said with absolutely no compassion. So I left. Went home and made my own. I never got to taste the food but the service alone was a turnoff.

This place is awesome! I go about once a week with friend, because the price is unbeatable. I get usually get three mini tacos with a side of rice, the rice is very authentic compared to other places I’ve been too. That meal is usually about 5 bucks counting the horchata. They have a sauce bar that is very pleasing, if you are looking for some good spice and flavor, go for the habanaro sauce. I do consider this place a hole in the wall and it deserves more business!

I went again with a friend, we had the lunch fajitas for 5 bucks. Not a bad deal at all. I cant believe they are not more busy with a price like that. The food was luke warm. It was still good but I am used to fajitas being piping hot on a cast iron skillet. My friend was pretty impressed with the price and she wasn’t as picky about the lukewarm thing as me. I mean 5 bucks, why am I complaining. Chips and Salsa are good, salsa bar is fun. I love the onion and pepper topping on there. My daughter loves the cucumber. I like the place, but they do need to work out the kinks. For instance it says on their coupon that now serving free ice cream for children, I thought an awesome idea, but they did not give any to my daughter. Glad I didn’t mention it. Took her to McDonalds for an ice cream cause I thought she was missing out. Another draw back is no fountain drinks. They give you a bottle. I don’t drink pop much so it doesn’t bother me, I drink water, but I know a lot of people like endless refills. All in all I like this place. Douglasville doesn’t have a lot of non chain restaurants, our chain restaurants suck. I haven’t reviewed most of them cause they dont have zero star option. Outback… O’Charleys…all the rest.

Was in the mood for Tacos and dropped by to check them out. They were delicious! The prices are also cheap compared to some of the other local Mexican spots. Authentic tacos with cilantro and onions. They have a salsa bar with lots of topping choices. You can choose flour or crunchy as well. Over the next week I have tried their mini burritos(delicious and cheap), Torta, and Nachos for lunch. Next trip will be for the camarones el diablo for dinner. Really looking forward to it. Service is friendly, food is authentic, taste is great.

I don’t know what has changed since these good reviews were written, but this place is no bueno. Service was good because I was the only person there at 12:30pm. No other customers came while I was there. The«lunch deal» was a foot long chicken burrito. I ordered it and was given a gigantic tortilla stuffed with about a pound of rice and refried beans and 2 ozs of chicken. Very unimpressed with the food. Also, the lunch«deal» with a coke cost me almost $ 10. Either I missed something or the other reviews are for some other place. This place, at this address, that’s called Los Tacos is crap.

Great authentic Mexican food, idk if these southerners can appreciate real Mexican with the texmex culture cuisine that dominates this area but everyone should try Los taco.
