Drinks were good and the food was excellent! Service was a bit slow but the food was worth the wait.

Nice people clean place and not to expensive. Can’t ask for much more. The el don tequila dip with all the meat in it is awesome.

Tried this place tonight after trolling Unilocal for good Mexican food. What a great surprise. Server were young but attentive. Food was very fresh and well prepared. Enjoyed trying the rice and cinnamon water and several other authentic Mexican dishes. The menu was huge and had an entire page of seafood which I like considering Mexico is surrounded by bodies of water. The sangria was good as well. Could have easily killed a pitcher. I also had some of the best chorizo I’ve ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Free tequila shot was a bonus. I think we found our new place for Mexican food. From the outside you would never know the place is worth going into.

We went here yesterday for an early dinner. We had never eaten here before and it had good reviews. We had the chicken, beef and shrimp fajitas. The grandson had a cheese quesadilla(of course). They were great. The salsa served with chips were very flavorful. The chips were warm. Tami’s margarita was very good! Service was excellent. The restaurant was very clean. We will definitely come back!

Great menu, we stopped here just because we had never tried it. Can’t wait to try more items. I had the Burrito del Mar, shrimp, tilapia, Pico De gallo, covered with home made salsa and cheese dip. Served with rice and black beans.

Chips were good basic chips and then you dip them in the perfectly balanced salsa. Salsa is full of flavor and heat! One of the best salsa I’ve had Ordered the Enchiladas Banderos, one pork, one chicken and one beef with rice and black beans. Beef with ranchero sauce was flavorful and steak was grilled to perfection. Chicken was moist and yummy covered in a light cheese sauce. Pork was perfect covered with Verde sauce. I wish this place was close to home or work.

A new Mexican restaurant in Douglasville — I was wondering if we REALLY needed another one since there are several in that area already — wow, what an amazing surprise! Great, fresh food. I ordered the chicken enchilada supreme… very good! light cheese sauce, and perfect seasoned, great flavor! not the heavy cheese cover mess that so many other places serve. my girl had some kind of Mexican sandwich with pork, ham and chicken. It arrived and was absolutely huge! she could not even finish half. I had a bite or two — soft bread and great flavor with the meat, avocado, lettuce and tomato and for only $ 6.99 Did not order drinks tonight — just soda… maybe next time — two meals came out to be just a few pennies over $ 20 The ONLY issue I saw at all was they were a little short staffed. they had two large parties of 10 – 12 people and then several other groups of 2 –4 people that came in close together so our waitress was a bit over-run. We had to wait a few minutes for some things but she had a great attitude and when the food is this good I am willing to be patient while they work the kinks out. The restaurant is very clean, open and comfortable, Can’t wait to come back and try the real fruit margaritas. Menu advertise FRESH lime juice which will be a welcome change to the pre-mixed swill from a gallon jug served in many of the local Mexican places. Over all, a very good experience and we will definitely be back

The food was excellent. A light, tasty fish ceviche. Excellent vegetarian dishes. Also enjoyed the horchata. The wait service was very good and extremely friendly.

I wish I could tell you how their chips and salsa was. I wish I could tell you how their menu was or how the food tasted. But my husband and I walked into the restaurant(during normal business hours) and stood inside for about 5 minutes. We observed dirty tables waiting to be bused, a few tables with guests. We never saw a single worker, not even at the bar. We walked out and will never return!

Perfect dining experience — delicious food — simple in its preparation! The tacos were exquisite while the enchiladas were not as good. The kids had the chicken fingers, prepared in such a way that they actually wanted to eat it, not greasy and small pieces.

The worst service I have ever had in my entire life! We sat down no one came over to the table to greet us, get a drink order or nothing! This place is pathetic a bunch of teenagers that don’t know shit about service! Absolutely horrible! It took 10 minutes before the hostess ran down a server for us weird thing is it was only 3 tables and we were number 3! Finally we get our drinks in the server ran off before we could order. She returned with Corona ’ s had to hold her down before she ran off again to give her our food order. Now we are 30 mins into our sit down we ordered guacamole which never came out until we asked for it again still didn’t come. Here comes the food oh and of course the guacamole. Enchiladas were ok rice was greasy ass hell, beans were watery, pork over cooked. We were never offered water or a second drink our server never came back wonder where she was all night oh I see sitting at the bar with all the other servers chatting and more concerned with each other than the guest. They bus tables and just stacked them all from 4 tables on the bar where 4 servers sat and stood there talking. We asked for our ticket it came like 5 mins later she put it on the table and just walked off we waited and waited and waited until finally I got her attention to say can you come this get this! The server says yall suppose to pay up there shit well who the hell knew that! So we asked for the manager it took him 10 minutes and when he finally came he asked was everything ok we stated no it was awful he was walking away with our server who rudely came over and walked him to another table we said the service was bad he said oh service and walked off and left us sitting there! What lack of service, quality, management and staff the damn name on our ticket isn’t the same as on the building. I couldn’t even leave a damn review the worst place don’t ever to stop and eat! If u love mexican food along with good service don’t come here! Unless u wanna get mad ass hell! I don’t even wanna eat at another Mexican restaurant in a while because of this horrible experience. Thanks for a awful experience!!!

The food is very good! The restaurant is very nice and decorative! The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the service was subpar. Other than that, everything was great! They apparently have entertainment on some nights such as karaōke on Sunday nights but did not have anything on Tuesday nights which was disappointing.

We were so sad that the only authentic mexican restaurant in Douglasville was torn down… and 5 days ago the same owner reopened a much larger, new and improved location but renamed it. The food is amazing, as we expected it to be. Looks like the menu expanded some, which is a plus. My husband ordered Camarones ala Diabla which he LOVED, and I got carne asada tacos which were fantastic and satisfying. We will definitely be back!
