We camped here last week on our way through OR on a road trip. Our main reason for staying here is the close proximity to the Disc Golf park across the road. We had a tent, the tent sites are kinda dismal. This really is an RV park, mostly RVs and people living in them. There were some people passing through though we were the only one in tents which is probably good since the tent area is just one open space with trees. But it’s right next to someones yard that is across the fence that surrounds the park, kinda weird. The road is near and you can hear cars on it at night, but it’s too noisy, and there is a train in the distance, but also not too bad really. The place is fairly quiet, the managers said they are trying to get the place looking nice and were very kind people. They let us take firewood from the pile near the entrance for free. The only bathroom right next to the tent space is a portapotty, but the actual bathrooms with showers are a very short walk away. The bathrooms are clean, with one shower(it’s free and hot) and two stalls. They also have a lock code for the bathrooms which was nice. The other thing is there are lights on every post for each spot, which was nice for walking to the bathroom late at night but kinda bright when we were trying to sleep even though we were not right next to them. The fire pits have grills on them and there was plenty of kindling to gather. The lake across the road is beautiful and there are lots of hawks in the area. We really enjoyed the disc golf park across the street as well. There was one crazy lady who made some weird crazy comments to me and then pointed at some signs that said she was an employee before walking off, but I have no idea what she was talking about. I am fairly certain she is mentally ill, but not in a scary way or anything, I only saw her once and she wasn’t mean. For the price and the distance from the disc golf park it was definitely worth the cheap price. But don’t go here looking for a wild experience in the woods, it’s more like camping in a small neighborhood of RVs.
