I love this store! Great place to find unique Mexican gifts and groceries. They have a great selection of souveniers, Catholic saint bracelets, charms, crosses, rosaries, etc. Pretty reasonable on the jewelry prices. Last time I was there, I picked up a box of churro mix and they came out really good.
The only thng keeping me from giving a 5 star rating is the overpowering moldy mildewy smell that hits you as soon as you walk in. It cant be good to be breathing that in!
The location on Michigan ave is just as good. The one on Dix is so-​so.

Stopped in here for some obscure mexican groceries and I had a great time! It’s a small «convenience store» style market that sells non-​perishables, canned goods, souviniers, cooking equipment and some refrigerated stuff.
Very good selection of dried herbs, seasonings and chilies. Decent selection of obscure canned goods and sauces. We got some homemade mole mix that we can’t wait to use.
Neat little place!
