The wait was long, the food was subpar and the fries came to us dumped into a brown paper sack. I’m all for small-​business owners trying to cut it in downtown Detroit and am willing to give this place (housed in the old Tubby’s across from the federal courthouse) another shot, but dear God, man. I had a veggie sub (a special as there wasn’t a veggie option on the regular menu) and felt like I was going to die afterward from the grease. And the fries were literally just put into a brown paper sack, which became soaked and weak from the grease. Mad props for the wicked rad iced tea machine, though. That thing is amazing.
