Got a mimosa and it was $ 17. I understand it’s an Airport but that’s still way overpriced. The waitress was rude when we questioned her and said champs is $ 26. Called champs and they said 10.99. This place sucks, terrible food and dirty.

As a devout Wings fan, it saddens me to say that the quality of the food, beer list, and service at this place are all poor. I was willing to deal because it is the airport, but it was the last straw when it wasn’t even that busy, and it somehow took me 20 minutes to get my check… and they’d charged my card for the wrong table’s food.

Go to Champs a few gates down. Hockeytown burgers are pucks on kaiser(at least change to brioche, add some mayo or aioli) music is Rob Zombie, servers more interested in closing tabs before next shift than customer experience and lastly it’s got a sad vibe.(Ok last two songs were ok, but they have a bad/angry music list overall). Onion rings were awesome, however.

We went to Hockeytown after a nice evening at the Fox Theatre. We ordered drinks, each of us ordered soup, and we ordered appetizers for our meal. After 20 minutes our server wandered by and I complained about not getting our drinks and 10 minutes later they arrived. After we had finished them and ordering another for my wife we waited another 20 minutes for our server to wander past again and I asked if we were ever going to get fed. Ten minutes later she arrived with cold congeled nasty looking plates of food that were totally unacceptable. After another 10 minute wait a manager wandered over and agreed that the food was uneadable. After all this we still had to pay for drinks. I will never return to this over rated dump again

It was the only decent place to get some beer and food in that area of DTW close to our departure gate so we found a good spot and ordered. I was impressed with the PATTYMELT. It was a basic sandwich but it was super tasty and not salty at all. It was sinfully good with all the buttery taste. Paired with deep fried onion rings, everything was good but definitely unhealthy. The serving was good for 2 non-big eaters. The lady staff was attentive and fast. Worth the try!

Stopped in for a drink before our flight. The Bloody Mary wasn’t great but not a total tragedy. The walls are awesome with hockey memorabilia. My major complaint is that it smelled like a hockey locker room in there. I saw others complaining too. I have no idea where the odor came from but it was nasty.

Nothing fancy, fried food and basic drinks. However it’s a required stop to mark off my preflight Bloody Mary. The food is your basic fried food, I’d skip it unless I was staving. I’ve eaten here before it was bad just basic. It’s a nice place to stop have a drink and check old the red wing photos painting the walls. Probably the coolest thing this place has to offer.

The best part of my visit to this place was my Bourbon and Sprite. For $ 10.50 two chicken strips and unseasoned steak fries is a bit stiff! Staff was disinterested! Skip it!

I have never experienced service so poor in my entire life, I am a road warrior and travel weekly. The bar tender Shannon was rude at best and appeared to be annoyed that she had to be there! The food is better at Coney and much cheaper. Good luck to the owners trying to keep this place afloat!

The service and drinks were fine. However, even by airport standards, the food was of extremely poor quality and greatly over priced. Do not order food from this location.

it wasn’t that bad, it’s nothing to write home about but quite edible and it was delicious. There is a lot of Red Wings memorabilia on the walls, which is especially great for the old items from the 1940’s and beyond, quite a nice and classy move by the owners to do this. Service was fast, the server was very courteous, it was just a salad, and how can you muck up a salad?

The absolute worst restaurant I’ve ever been too. To call this place that shovels overpriced food down your throat a restaurant is an insult to the McDonald’s next to it. 30 $ for nachos 1 beer and onion rings. Whoever owns this joint should be shot.

The Philly Cheesesteak was quite good for airport food. Waitress was efficient and attentive.

I wouldnt usually write a review for an airport restaraunt but the service here was so irritating I felt compelled to warn others. If you’re in this terminal, youre better off getting a premade sandwich at the the coffee shop. Sit down a wait a few minutes. He walks right past me and goes to other tables. If you’re busy thats fine, but acknowledge that Im here and say I’ll be right with you. Youre in your late 30s, Im sure common courtesy isn’t beyond you. Also know that we’re in an airport, meaning things are more time sensitive. After waiting a few minutes I went up to the bar tender and asked if I could put in an order of chicken tenders. She said my server would be right with me and I explained that I had been waiting for a few minutes without any interaction(its small, maybe 7 tables total) and didnt have alot of time. He comes over defending himself and telling me that he saw me talking to the man next to me. Nope. Dont know him, wasnt talking to him. Next– so you want an order of chicken fingers? Me– yes please. Him– And? Me– And a water please. He comes back with a mini to go cup of water and a straw. Um do you want a tip? Am I in mcdonalds? You realize im going to drink this in 3 – 5 minutes… Chicken fingers arrive. He says ‘I brought you bbq’ would you like ranch or honey mustard? What I would like is for you to ask me what I would like with my chicken fingers during my order without you rushing off. He grabs a ranch at my request that is in a salad dressing package and tosses it at me onto the table. Amongst other small things that I am leaving unmentioned I am now pretty irritated. The guy next to me leaves and I took a peak at his bill to see if his tip communicated any frustration as well. Tab was $ 28.50 and he left the guy $ 2, less than 10%. Glad Im not alone, Also these chicken fingers are at best 50% chicken and 50% breading. At best.

Ordered a grilled Cesar wrap to go and got the wrong order. Got some fried chicken wrap. Cheese in wrap was a bit rancid. Wrap totally fell apart and I had to eat with my Fingers.

Stopped in for a couple drinks before my flight. Quite busy, but the girl behind the counter was very efficient and was very attentive. Biggest complaint was they charged $ 2.25 for«rocks pour» when I ordered my Makers on the rocks-is that normal?

Planned to bring the gf here on the way back to Florida as I try to further inundate her with Red Wings stuff. There’s really nothing about this place that is similar to the Hockeytown Café near the Fox Theater other than the décor. Didn’t appear to be the same food or anything like that. Really not a huge deal. Kerri was our server and she was very prompt and friendly. Both of us had the Hockeytown Burger and enjoyed it, though it was your standard burger for the most part. Nothing too fancy. Even with the $ 1 and $ 2.25 upcharge to add fries and onion rings, respectively, our bill was still only about $ 30. This is including drinks, and that’s extremely affordable for an airport terminal restaurant. Would definitely come here again, though I will probably either fly Delta to DTW(other terminal) or Southwest to FNT on my next trip home.

Very quaint place in DTW. Not a bad place to grab some food and a drink and maybe catch something on TV to pass the time. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Food: I got the Reuben. Really wasn’t impressed by it; it was a standard affair. But hey, I’m in an airport. I’m looking for food cause I’m hungry and I want something decent that isn’t McD’s.
