Took over an Hour for my food to arrive.(We were the only party here) Everyone in my party had the wrong food. The steak was cooked well done when I asked for medium, the other person had stale bread and my food was cold. Never again will I go to this place.

I’ve been eating at outback for quite some time now Tonight was the worst ever The manager at Destin’s outback Sucks Had several people complain around me about their steaks under cooked He came out we told him my wife’s steak and mine were under cooked he looks at it tells us that’s the way we ordered it NOIT’S NOT we know how a steak is cooked. And the lobster was bad Next time we will go to Ruth’s Chris steakhouse … ANDANOTHERTHING WHENTHECUSTOMERCOMPLAINS Don’t offer to throw a steak that has been cut back on the grill. It ruins it. always Cook another one your cook messed up take the loss

The salad was great. The drinks were fair. The steak was good. The service was good. When I rate a place I consider the level of Resturant I am choosing. Outback is medium priced and that is what I expect when I go there. If you want a great steak and meal, got to Fleming and brace yourself when you get the bill. My two cent.

I don’t want to leave a bad review for my favorite restaurant, but currently they really need a solution. We live here and eat at this outback a couple times a month. The last few times we have come our steaks have been 1 – 3 temperatures higher than we ordered it. We always order medium or medium rare. Instead we always get well done. This time all three steaks our table ordered were well done, when we ordered medium rare and mediums. This Outback is a great location with friendly staff and we love eating here, but we eat here for the steak, and they’re getting steak all wrong the last month or so. I hope to give a better rating in the future when they resolve the issue with the chef getting temperatures right.

Ive eaten here many times over the years and its usually just your«standard» Outback. Went last week and the service was off(we had multiple waiters, that seemed confused) and the food was kind of lukewarm and just ok. Also had the seared ahi appetizer, and it was a joke compared to the same dish at Bonefish the night before. Probably won’t return for a while.

My husband and I are in this area on business and know most times Outback is a good go to for a good steak dinner. We had a rocky start at this particular Outback. The restaurant was not crowded so we knew we could sit right down. A young man was the host and to put it mildly was not very welcoming. We asked for a booth which did not make him happy. The booth needed to be cleaned first. The waiter that had this side of the restaurant was very busy and having a tough time by comments made by other patrons waiting on food. It was so wrong that this host did not help bus this booth or do anything to be helpful. We were so disgusted with this host and his lack of being a team player. We got up and walked out. Right behind us was the Proprietor, Janet Opalka. Janet was amazing. She was not only apologetic but could not do enough to make sure we had a great meal/experience as we had hoped. Janet was very professional and took great pride in her restaurant as well as the rest of her staff. Janet has guaranteed that when we come back to this area we will go to her restaurant.

Been to a lot of outback restaurants around the country and also noticed a downhills trend in food quality and service. Ok experience but my wife’s steak was first undercooked then over cooked. The staff were nice and the manager was helpful but didn’t make up for the food. The onion was over cooked and greasy. Overall not up to outback standards.

The service was great. But the food was so salty that I regret ever going there. I got sick.

We have been to many different outbacks before and I have loved there food everytime! But we came to this one and I got a terrible case of food poisoning! I’ve never felt so bad! Will not be going back!

Service was SOOOO slow and it wasn’t even busy … Got ketchup I asked for after I was done — two simple orders of chicken …

We ate here the first night we arrived in town. This place set the bar pretty high for restaurants in Destin. Our waiter was very nice and accommodated our every need. My family and I aren’t really beef people, but we wanted to try something different. I had the ribeye and my hubby had the filet mignon. My husband’s filet mignon was cooked to perfection at a medium temperature and my ribeye was medium well. I would recommended the ribeye cooked at a medium temperature, I was just chicken and didn’t want alot of pink in my meat. All of our side items were very flavorful! Enjoy:)

I’ve had better! A little disappointing that they did nothing for my daughter’s Bday. Every other Outback does. Not this one! Oh well. Food was mediocre!

Ordered on line for carry out! Requested no onions on my salad, it had onions. Chicken was impossible to cut! So dry and hard. I could have opened a bag of store bought salad would have been the same. Soooo disappointed! 5 dinner and 1 loaf of mini bread! REALY! No butter… It’s off season people. Let’s bring the standard up a little.

We arrived around 730pm. There were a few customers waiting to be seated. We were told it would be about 15 minutes. The bar was supposedly full, except for a few seats that were dirty. I saw a couple of empty tables just while getting the buzzer. After 15 – 20 minutes of waiting we were seated. The bar was half empty, and we passed at least 3 empty tables on the way to ours. We immediately gave our order since we already knew what we wanted. After about 3 minutes we received bread. 30 minutes after we gave our order, the food came out. The steak was ordered a medium-rare, it was closer to well. The soup we ordered wasn’t even brought out with our food. The Mac n cheese was pretty good. Steak tasted like any other steak. Fire cracker salmon had a crunchy bottom, but the rest turned out fine. Baked potato soup tasted just like potato chowder, pretty much what you would expect. Overall the food turned out ok, even with the errors. Our server was nice, offered us dessert since she messed up a little. We turned it down though. We MIGHT return to this Outback eventually.

I love outback, I really do… But this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. We literally had to ask for everything that we needed. Food was OK. We were really just ready to leave. Not going to hold it against all the outbacks, but I’m disappointed.

I have been to this location numerous times. You can definitely find better steak places around the area, but you pay for what you get. Outback is cheaper, but you also get what you pay for. Last night, my husband and I went with 3 of our friends. Usually I just order a steak, but this time I decided to go for a burger. My husband ordered the Alice Springs Chicken. My husbands order was really good. My burger was just okay, kind of dry… I’ve definitely had better. I have to say, my favorite thing about Outback that never disappoints is their chicken tortilla soup. It is soooo goood, and I usually leave wishing I had just ordered a full bowl full and not a cup. We’ve never had any issues with the service at Outback, until last night. One of our friends ordered their Bloomin’ Burger which is supposed to be topped with the signature Bloomin’ Onion petals. He received his burger and it was missing the onions… the signature part of the burger. He had also ordered a tall draft beer. He finished it prior to us receiving our dinner. The waitress came back and asked if he wanted another one and he said yes. We then received our food, managed to eat our complete meal without them bringing him anything else to drink!!! She then came and apologized and said they were having a problem with the keg and brought him a bottled beer literally one minute prior to us receiving the check. She said that beer would be at no charge, I just couldn’t believe they didn’t come and offer him anything else to drink the entire time while he was eating his meal! Probably won’t be back here for a while. The food is really just okay, and honestly we probably wouldn’t have even gone there if we didn’t have gift cards.

The worst Outback EVER!!! Food was awful and management was horrible, our server did a good as could be expected. One good point, the beer was very cold! Don’t go it’s not worth it…

This was the best Outback experience I’ve had. Maybe because Pete, my service was so awesome. Not too much attention, but just right! My bone in ribeye was cooked to perfection– my compliments to the chef! The caramelized onions on top, set it off. And I’m in Love with the pecan blue cheese chopped salad. Not to mention the sweet tea, was actually sweet! Best chain restaurant experience I’ve had this year so far.

I enter this place every couple of years because of my overwhelming desire to devour a blooming onion… I am here to report that in addition to the regular menu food now even the blooming onion is not worth coming in for, terribly greasy. Sad but true!
