Two stars because I found 4 very cute sweaters. Paid $ 10 for one of them and $ 5 for the others. On the pricy side for a thrift shop. It was a bit awkward because there was a younger man behind the counter talking crap about the volunteers. He was talking to this older woman who was also working there. He told her, «if you’re not with me in keeping up with these no good volunteers then you could stay in the back with them!» He was loud. Ignorant. I felt bad for the lady, she looked like my grandmother. But! Give this place a shot. Maybe that guy won’t be there the day you go. They had cute stuff. Clean. It looked like the volunteers take care of the place.

Very disappointed… Until today, I have visited this cute shop weekly with my sister. Mostly to drop off donations for resale. Yesterday, I purchased $ 50 dollars worth of sweaters(most @ $ 4/ea) and foolishly did not try them on before buying them. Well, they did not work out. I just called the store and explained my situation and asked if I could return them for a store credit. The gentleman said no… all sales are final. My sister will probably still donate but I will be donating elsewhere. Moral of the story… make sure you really want it before you buy it.

Nice to see this place get a much needed face lift. Stuff is way better organized and the prices are much more reasonable. I walked in the other day and was amazed at the transformation. At last some of that old furniture is gone.

Thought I would give this shop another try. Sadly, another failure the second time around. What’s worse than two gossiping staff people? One ‘uppity’ person working who doesn’t acknowledge you when you walk in, someone who seems to be ‘put out’ because you’re actually buying something, thus giving her a task to perform(while making no small talk) and doesn’t thank you for supporting the establishment. Wow. Completely tacky. Maybe if I looked differently I would have been treated differently. No, she didn’t seem to be having a bad day; she was very chatty with the customer before me; who was also much older than I. Still way too overpriced for most things. Officially will not be back. Bummer.
