Upon check in, I thought I wouldnt like how close to the road it was, but the rooms are pretty soundproof! That was refreshing, as i was hoping to get a good nites sleep and I did. I miss the pool they filled in, but there comfy room makes you sleep soundly.

Look, it is a cheap motel($ 56 incl tax 2 ppl), and you pretty much know what you are in for when you stay in a place like this, but come on, they could take a LITTLE effort. It was surprisingly clean with the exception of the moldy shower curtain. But the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were falling down, the tape they had used before was old and just hanging there, the towels were at LEAST10 years old and so rough you could use them as a loofah. What REALLY pissed me off? Their maintenance guy was very friendly. He chatted us up, telling us about the area, sharing stories, really enjoyed his company; the front desk sees him talking to us and calls him on the cell phone and chews him out. Evidently, management frowns upon the staff talking to guests. Which they themselves(mgt) adhere to because they are nothing but cold and unfriendly at check in. Grunt out answers(probably because they barely speak English), toss paperwork at you… They have NOCLUE what customer service is or how to be pleasant. The only thing nice about this motel was the friendly maintenance guy, and they put a stop to that immediately. I am SO tired of these non-American motel owners that take your money and feel they don’t need to provide a decent room or friendly service. Wi-fi barely worked. And rooms were SOOO dated. Stay somewhere else!

Spartan but cheap($ 40) and clean. Pretty quiet on a Wednesday night. Older but maintained exterior, interior dated. It was OK.
