… A moment of silence for the dying… and now the picking of the bones from this buzzard. I think this establishment should give a Hershey’s chocolate kiss with every purchase. if you don’t understand why, read on and you will. 5 years ago, I used to brag that this joint was THE closest that you’ll ever get to being in «philly». Huge sandwiches, massive amounts of meat, cheese virtually dripping and the mushrooms and onions… sweet Jesus, you’d have to brush the teeth afterwords. But… Last night, I drove in the lot, which was full. the Chinese restaurant, rocking. the eastern restaurant busy even the coffee shop was happening but the Taste of Philly… empty. I went in order a 12 inch mushroom(10.19 $) wait time wasn’t bad but the sign on the wall was an indication of impending doom«Locally owned and operated»… a corporate franchise. I returned home, opened the surprise, 12 inches of bread and not much philly, nor mushrooms or onions. if it wasn’t for all that bread, this could be a weight watchers special. Now. if you don’t get the why you should get a Hershey’s kiss, then continue to supporting this store as you couldn’t appreciate what a real PHILLY supposed to look and taste like.

The only reason I gave 2 stars is for the flavor. Should have been 1. Almost $ 9 for this little thing? I feel ripped off. I’ll go to pats from now on where you get a good size sandwich for the same price and it has a lot more ingredients. Thumbs down.

Let me start by saying this, I love other Taste of Philly locations. We came in here at about 8pm on a Saturday and it was a pretty crappy experience. First we drove into the parking lot, and the light in the main part of the store was off so they looked closed even though the open sign was lit. Once they saw us pull up to read the hours they turned it on. When we went in the restaurant was dirty and so were the bathrooms. They also had burnt/were in the process of burning something, because the whole restaurant smelt like nasty smoke. It’s also a very small seating area(like 2 tables) so you can’t get away from the smell. When we walked up to the counter it took about 5 minutes for someone to take our order, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. When we got our food it still tasted okay, however I had ordered extra cheese(which they charge you for) but ended up with the exact same amount as the person I was with that didn’t. Overall it was a pretty crappy experience. Which is sad because I love the Taste of Philly in FoCo and Northglenn.

Let’s play a little game of «Two truths and a lie,» shall we? 1. I was too hungry to snap pictures. 2. The only time I’ve had a cheesesteak in Philadelphia was at the PHL airport. 3. I split a 12″ original Philly with grilled onions, chopped steak and American cheese, and did not wish that I had ordered a full one. If you guessed #2 is the lie, you’re riiii… wrong. The«airport cheesesteak» as I like to call it was rather unsatisfying. But I digress. The lie is number three. You see, I wish I could’ve devoured the whole sandwich by myself but that would have been very un-lady like. What is lady like? Ordering a salad on the side. Which I did. It was fine. Not as good as the second half of that sandwich was going to taste. Service was fast and friendly. I wasn’t expecting anything gourmet and I certainly did not get it. Upon walking in, the place was empty and the entire staff was watching Remember the Titans on TV. That’s worth a star alone, right?

Don’t offer delivery if you can’t do it in a timely manner…90 min wait time? Ridiculous.

Their food is not worth their abuse. We had ordered from there a few times and the food was pretty good, they could never get the order right and took a while so we stopped ordering. Tonight we figured why not try again, it’s been a couple years, maybe they got their act together… obviously not. Going on two hours since we placed our order and it’s still not here. Now I have to go to work and pick something up while my food will be at home. You guys suck!

The Taste of Philly, Colo. Blvd. is fantastic with their service and their food. I been going there for fifteen years. It’s like home on the east coast.

The food was terrible! First off, the potato salad is of a poorer quality than that of any bulk pre-processed crap you could get at the grocery store. The so called«oreo» brownie was a Sara Lee pre-packaged chocolate iced brownie. The meatballs were horrible. They were simply roundish hunks of super dense, over cooked meat. There was no flavoring and the texture was awful. The marinara on the meatball sandwich tasted like nothing more than pureed tomatoes. On top of how terrible it all tasted, I ended up with food poisoning thanks to this place. I will not be going back ever again and I would recommend that if you want a cheap meatball sandwich, you will have better luck at Subway.

Not good — ordered lunch for delivery for a second time … it took over two hours for them to deliver on this occasion. They gave me some free brownies to try and make up for it… and they were the Sara Lee prepackaged kind, so I wasn’t impressed. Their food isn’t bad, they just have a terrible delivery service. Doubt I’ll give them another shot.

I’ve ordered cheesesteaks from here for over 10 years. The sandwiches had always been outstanding until tonight. I ordered«The Works» and there was hardly any meat on it. Very disappointing.

Walked in, placed order, friendly girl, then a group of people walked in after. They all got their food before me. I asked person I placed order with to please check on order then they left to go on lunch break. I guess they gave my order to the group or forgot it. Then when I got it 25 min later after placing it, it was wrong went up and told them 2 min later I finally got order, it wasn’t really hot the cheese wasn’t even fully melted, they gave no apologies or anything. Not a pleasant experience especially after tipping generously when placing order

I am giving this place five stars on the basis of the taste of the food alone, because the service is not always very fast, the place itself is rundown, and the employees are sometimes friendly and sometimes indifferent. But I have eaten at about a dozen Philly Cheesesteak places in Colorado and I think that Taste of Philly sandwiches are by far the best! The bread always tastes like it came just from the oven, and the meat is always flavorful and just right. The onions and cheese are prepared just right, also. I recommend this place to everyone who asks me about where they can get the best Philly Cheesesteak in Colorado. I’ve never had a sandwich here that wasn’t absolutely delicious! So if all you care about is enjoying a great-tasting sandwich, try this place, and you won’t be disappointed!

Good sandwiches with generous helpings of meat at a good price, but the cole slaw is bland and dry.

Had the mushroom philly and it was the prefect size and taste. Being from Philly I can attest to it being as authentic as you will get outside of Philly.

Ordered the club sandwich and it was discussing! They grill the bread and by the time it was delivered to my house it was stone cold, soggy, the bacon was burnt and soggy. A big sloppy mess! I called and spoke with the manager, Cory and he offered me a $ 5 credit! I took one bite off this sandwich, it was my dinner. I can’t eat a $ 5 credit! I insisted they send me a new sandwich, make it a philly. I hope they can pull off that. I also ordered a grilled ham and cheese and that was a cold soggy mess too, but it was for my spoiled dogs so I just picked it apart.

Worst roll I’ve ever had. Hard ends like they thawed them with too much heat… Like you’d get from microwaving a frozen roll. They need to get over the Amorossas rolls as being what makes a Philly Cheesesteak. A fresh roll is much more important than some name brand frozen shit. Steak is lame too, taste like steak ums. Far from fresh. Owner should go to Fat Jacks to find out what a good roll is.

Delivery took over an hour and the sandwiches came with buns soggy and sandwich innards lukewarm. I could have dealt with that, but I was disappointed in said innards. Ordered the mushroom Philly and got extra cheese. While there was cheese, it didn’t really justify the extra charge I paid for extra cheese. I got lettuce on mine and, sadly, they used almost exclusively lettuce cores, which were hard and kinda gross, and took up half of the sandwich. Really inexcusable. What upset me most was the lack of mushrooms. I actually forgot that I ordered them, because there was a woefully tiny amount. And, like others have pointed out, it sucks to get an expensive large and find several inches of it are useless and dry, with no toppings or sauce to speak of. At the end of the day, money is tight for a lot of us, and these sandwiches are overpriced by at least a couple of dollars. $ 25 for two sandwiches — I expect more.

Ordered online from here for lunch. The delivery was thirty minutes faster than expected which was awesome. Got the grilled cheese and potato salad. Both were okay but super bland. My bf ordered some random philly that he loved. Could be five stars if the food had flavour.
