I ordered lunch to be delivered at noon. I called around 12:10 to check the status and was immediately placed on hold. However, I could still hear everything. They were putting people on hold who called in and having personal conversations. Eventually, I hung up after fifteen minutes and tried to call back but keep getting voicemail. I prepaid for this lunch. I couldn’t believe it. Now, I have missed my entire lunch. Finally got someone forty minutes after target time. My biggest issue was the fact that no one called me to let me know what was going on.

I recently discovered these guys and tried their subs and I have to tell you they are definitely the best subs I’ve ever tasted so far. I usually get the # 11 called the fax and that sandwich is the bomb. I’ve also had the classic which is really good as well.

Every time I go to Fat Jacks on Evan/Colorado Joe always gets my order exactly right, I’m allergic to cheese so he always make sure they they don’t add it. Always so friendly and don’t have to wait long time. Go see Joe!!! Ginger

Awful experience. Ordered 4 subs and a hummus n veggie last night for delivery. After an hour went by I called the store to check on my order and was told that the drivers car broke down, but it was fixed now and he left the store 20 minutes ago. After another 15 minutes went by I called back. The employee told me there was nothing he could do, he had no idea where his driver was, and suggested nothing of compensation. I get that the drivers car broke down, but why wouldn’t I be called to say that my order was running late and to get an apology? An hour and 20 minutes after I place my order my food was disguting. Over all quality of subs in general was poor, and cheap products are used. My hummus was inedible and could have made me violently ill. Cucumbers were slimy and seethrough and celery was browned. Cannot believe anyone would serve this. Awful awful food and service do not order from here. See photos **update. Manager is refunding my order and stated he’s had a lot of employee problems. Still won’t be going back, but hopefully a new staff will be trained to not put out such low quality products

Solid alternative to Jimmy John’s. Bread was de-lish, go with hot peppers on The Don.

Love this place. I’m a philly guy and this is my favorite sub shop. Go with the don, Giovanni, jester, meatball and if you’re disappointed, it’s probably your own fault.

Ok so I must admit I have only eaten here twice– and both times very good, seriously. But today, I was in the beauty supply store next door about to leave and happened to discover my tire was flat. I called roadside and the gentleman from Fat Jacks comes out and says«I can do it in ten mins.» I said«thanks but you don’t have to.» But he insisted. No questions asked besides«where’s your jack and your spare?» and he got to work. So nice. Chivalry is not dead! Thank you kind stranger for being such a gentleman. I will now be a customer more often because I love to support businesses who have such kind people working there. To come out and randomly help a stranger with no expectations other than just being nice was just so impressive and made my day!

I would give Fat jacks three and a half stars if I had the option too. Easy to get too being right off of I 25 and Evans and the restaurant was very clean but there is no tables or chairs for eating inside. The guy who took the order and made the sandwiches was very nice and answered all the questions we had. I ordered the Elwood with just meat and cheese, it was one of the three hot sandwiches they had on their menu. It’s basically a French dip. When we returned back home I looked in the bag and I notice that they forgot the au jus to dip the sandwich in. Its about 15 minutes away so it would not be worth it to drive back. About two bites into the sandwich I noticed that the bottom of the bread was wet. It was not wet because of the juice that the meat was flavored in because I would not of minded that at all. It seemed wet like the bottom of the bread touched water. I finished the sandwich as is and it was extremely unsatisfying. I then opened and finished the chocolate chip cookie which looked hella bomb wrapped up in clear wrap. It was not it!!! It had entirely way too many chocolate chips and was not baked at all. It could have been in the oven another 5 minutes easy. Not a good way to finish off a disappointing sandwich. I have had fat jacks plenty of times before and have never had a bad meal. So I was shocked that this time was so different. I will still get food from here but never this sub ever again.

Love their subs, the Gold Coast especially, but when I called a full hour before close, and their menu states clearly that delivery orders will be received until a half hour before closer, it was pretty infuriating to hear that they were not accepting any more orders…

This place is really inconsistent — the staff really doesn’t care and it really shows. I’ve been three times in the last couple months and two out of three times my sandwich was wrong(the big drama«sighhhhh» when added ingredients are requested doesn’t help things either). Not going back — good concept, fresh ingredients but the people spoil it. At $ 11+ for a sandwich and a drink they should be getting it right every time… Snarfs, here I come! Oh, and nowhere to sit and hang out makes a really awkward experience.

The staff is so friendly and you can feel the goodvibes when you walk in. The sandwiches are all really nice, I particularly like the wheat bread they have. The delivery is fast and friendly.

Same low — quality junk as Subway, 3 times the price. Not impressed, wouldn’t return. Remember that while Jack may be fat, his subs aren’t.

I looove a delish sandwich and was REALLY excited when I discovered this alternative to Jimmy Johns, and my first two experiences were pretty good, but the last 3 delivery orders my husband and I have placed have arrived late and incorrect. Sandwiches made wrong, drinks forgotten, or the wrong size, etc. In theory they would be a great company structure, but in reality the stoners who work there drop the ball on the convenience of delivery lunch. If I have to call back, and wait for a correction or go without a drink I ordered ANDPAIDFOR it completely voids the happiness I once felt for this shop. There sandwiches and pretty tasty when they are done correctly, so hopefully they will up their game. I order sandwiches several times a month and will now be going back to JJ’s.

Good/sometimes great sandwiches. The thing with this Fat Jacks location is you never know who will be making you sandwich. It could be a helpful attentive chap, like my last visit, or the the psychotic, raging, cussing fellow who obviously wasn’t cut out to make sandwiches from the time before. The delivery is pretty fast. Overall the sandwiches are good, but this shop needs some management to improve service. I eat here probably every couple of weeks so it’s not all bad.

Fat Jack’s makes some solid sandwiches and is open way late all week(perfect for night owls). Food: I’ve had a handful of their sandwiches and been pretty happy with all of them. The Fax and the Gold Coast are my favorites. Service: Every visit I’ve made has gone well and they get me in and out in a hurry. Bottom Line: Fat Jacks makes some solid sandwiches(way better than subway style fast food joints) and I don’t think it’s possible to walk away hungry after eating one of their subs.

I have heard quite a number of people rave about Fat Jack’s. I am currently on a Jimmy Johns strike after horrendous service and I really wanted a sub. I decided to place an order for delivery. I ordered the BLT and added some tasty avocado slices to it. I decided to get the meal because it came with the sub, chips, a drink and a pickle spear. The sub was alright. It was not terrible but it wasn’t fabulous either. It looked like they crammed all of the bacon to one side and the other side didn’t have any. So it required some rearranging. I was a little bummed out to see that I had received the smallest fountain drink that they carried. I wasn’t given an option for a different drink size, but I was hoping for at least a medium. I used Mile High Menus to place the order and the menu for Fat Jack’s says combos come with a pickle spear. I did not receive one with my order. The order was pretty expensive for a sandwich, chips and a drink. If I eat here again I will just stop by. After delivery fees and tip, it was just too much for what I actually received. I will visit the physical location versus delivery to try something different, but I just wasn’t wowed with my first Fat Jack’s experience.

So there is this place that is primarily take out and delivery that makes killer sandwiches and it’s called Fat Jacks. I work right in the area and this place has become my go to spot for a quick and good lunch. Like others have said, they don’t skimp on anything. There is plenty of meat, cheese and veggies on every sandwich. Everything is fresh and always taste good. The staff is supper friendly and quick. They seem to make a sandwich in about 30 seconds. Check this place out, it’s a hole in the wall but damn good!

I honesty wasn’t impressed. Should’ve known by the less than enthusiastic personality of the kid who took my order that the sandwiches would be less than good. Ingredients are fine, but they are clearly not paying attention to how they put these things together– and the bread? Not that great. There’s much better sub joints in Denver.
