Called today to ask about replacing the center stand on my scooter. Spoke to Colin, service manager and owner who was very rude and short with me. Told me to go online and buy a center stand that looks like the one I have and bring it in to have them install it. When I questioned him on how to select the correct stand to match the mounting hole pattern he got indignant and said, «I just told you what to do if you can’t handle it go someplace else.» Nice customer service! When I called him on his hostility, he just said that I look I am busy and have other customers to help.

I almost never give one star reviews, because I know how important a business reputation is. That being said, I just called them to ask how much it would be to do an oil change on my Tao Tao after I was referred to them by someone. My scooter only has a couple hundred miles on it and it’s my first scooter, so I want to find a shop where I can regularly take it and establish a solid relationship with a mechanic. So, I called and then man I talked to was incredibly rude to me. He said that buying a Tao Tao was basically like buying a play toy from Toys R Us and he would thinking about servicing it in the fall when he had nothing better to do. He also told me he refused to work on it because it would probably accidentally break while he was working on it then I would blame him because it was just poor quality. Then he said I could YouTube it and figure it out for myself. Sir, I like my Tao Tao. I’m sorry you are so incredibly offended by my crappy quality scooter, but it works great for me and I’ve never had a problem with it. It must be nice to be so busy that you can turn work away. No worries, I’ll give someone else my money!

I called to get an appointment for a tune up on my scooter. I was told to come down, first thing on Saturday morning and it would take about 2 hours and I could wait. No appt necessary. It ended up to be 5 hours. Ugh. I was told that I should’ve made an appointment. In their defense, Corey(on duty that day) did his best to help. They made it right. They’ve been great in the past and I’m hoping this was just a fluke.

Looking for a perfect scooter for college and found it! Cory was the nicest man ever and was very helpful and explained everything. For my first scooter I’m glad I could really get a feel for the one I wanted to purchase and had someone who was as friendly as Cory! Will be going back to purchase as the prices are way better than any dealership and the price of the tag is the price you pay without a ton of hidden costs. Love!

Very helpful when buying a scooter. Word of warning, don’t buy a lock there. Online the lock they sell is $ 26 – 28(and that is from the manufacture). At the store it will cost you $ 60!

They’re the best game in Denver when it comes to scooters. I love their wide selection of two-wheelers as well as accessories; not to mention willingness to get you whatever you want. The staff(shout out to Jared) are knowledgeable and super down to earth. No sales pitches or pressures; just willing to help out and make you comfortable with the purchase. Their customer service was also outstanding. The owner, Adam, helped me in a big way to make sure I was taken care of. If you’re in the market for or just browsing, make Sportique your one and only destination.

First off, I will say I like Sportique Scooters and I think they are helpful and really dedicated to scooters. I dropped off my scooter and it was looked over thoroughly and ready on time. My only problem is with how they handled the pricing expectation of the service provided. When I stopped by the first time, I was told some things that could be done, and the service guy wrapped up with«when you’re ready to spend $ 250 on your scooter, bring it back here and we’ll take care of you.» So, I was ready… took it back, and we discussed on paper all that would be done, which was what we initially discussed when I stopped by. He wrote out the services and pricing. The price on that paper was $ 287, and I said«Great, let’s do it.» When I picked up the scooter, everything on that paper was taken care of — no more, no less, and my bill was $ 440. There was no mention of additional labor and service fees when we discussed everything«upfront» on that piece of paper. The guy in line ahead of me was having the same issue, and the gal at the cash register indicated this had been a bit of a problem for awhile(those who check you out, are not the labor providers.) So, Sportique, I still like you, but if you want me to love you again, you need to get more up front about total costs, and stop ripping people off on labor or I may be bringing my business elsewhere. I thought $ 140 labor was a little steep for replacing two tires that cost $ 100. On that note, my word to the wise would be to get a printed estimate WITHLABOR before agreeing to any work. I will certainly be doing that next time if I decide to go back to Sportique.

Sportique has a new and much more convenient location. They consolidated two stores and took the best from each. Plenty of storefront for the lookie-loos displaying a good inventory of quality, reasonably priced two wheelers. They have made improvements in their service department with several more bays, so you just may find your broken ride back on the street quicker. Stop by and ask for Julie.
