Great little coffee spot! Very cozy, comfortable garden-level space. The brew of the day(Italian) was very robust and delicious. Very friendly service, as well! Ample metered street parking was available on a Saturday a.m. Only drawbacks were that it is somewhat difficult to find. I work only a few blocks away so I was familiar with the area, but a few in my group had some trouble finding it. I also wish that they had a selection of pastries to accompany their great coffee. All in all, a very pleasant experience. I’m sure that I will make a return visit in the near future.

So not only is this location is a very cool area, the baristas were amazing. They helped me and my friend go through all the specials. On saturday at 1pm, there was plenty of sitting room. They had outdoor fire places and the vibe inside was on point. Currently my favorite coffee shop in Denver.

Open late, cool employees and owners, the BEST white mochas, fire pits, smart and eclectic crowd; what’s not to love? This place is basically my office now!

Friendly staff and cozy brick walls greet you when you walk into what was once the basement of an apartment building(!) and now functions as one of the nicest coffee shops in Denver. The outside patio faces east and catches the morning sun while dodging the afternoon summer heat blast, and in winter, two gas-powered fire pits keep things cozy. There’s another outdoor patio off to the side, away from the traffic. The inside is full of seats for lounging and the usual table + chair setups for getting work done. The coffee is delicious, the breakfast burritos are great, and they usually have pastries the size of an aircraft carrier sitting on the counter to tempt you. If I ever end up coming down with diabetes, I’m going to blame those muffins and scones.

Parking off to the side is easy as they have a nice big lot. Strolling up to this big green building of 3 levels I was slightly overwhelmed and unsure of where to go, but a smartly worded sign pointed to the lower(basement) floor. The patio was awesomely lit with two fireplaces and many chairs and benches strewn about for leisure to enjoy the sight, smells and noise of Denver. Inside it is surprisingly open. The espresso bar at your right immediate right, the kitchen behind it. I ordered the infamous Roostercat 12 oz and the blend of their house espresso combined with mocha, and spices all perfectly steamed to a cappuccino like consistency tasted like a cinnamon roll in a cup. Every sip was like a warm(yet excitingly spicy) hug on my taste buds. The overstuffed leather couches were comfy enough to where I started writing and didn’t stop until I, alarmingly, noticed an hour had passed. I heard this place serves epic food as well, I should probably grab one next time I’m here(which will be soon).

Great vibe, good wifi, plenty of outlets, great coffee, reasonably priced, and you can get limitless drip refills for a little under $ 4. Good place to work!

Here are the two most important things you need to know about Roostercat: 1. Outdoor FIREPIT that gets lit allllll day. 2. Big, comfy and worn out couches where you can sink down into it and says«ahhhh!!!» in a satisfying way, just like you would when you get home from work after a long day and ready to take off your pants.(Sadly taking your pants off in public is probably frowned upon.) If the two reasons above still doesn’t convince you go, they have house made lavender syrup which goes great with their latte, or, get a hearty breakfast bagel sandwich with fried eggs, mozzarella, tomato and arugula. Service was always on point and the baristas were never afraid to smile when you walked in. Haven’t had any bad experiences with the service and probably won’t anytime soon:) And now if you will excuse me I am gonna grab myself a latte and chill near the fire pit at this lovely spot:)

Used to be a lot better but it seems to be getting worse. WiFi is sporadic, and some baristas don’t really seem to care. Hopefully they get it together soon.

Roostercat is full of so much goodness. I used to live in the neighborhood and come here often to work alllll day. I love the mellow(but not too quiet) atmosphere, the many seating options, the outdoor fire pits, the awesome people, and the coffee, too. I don’t miss law school at all, but I DO miss having a reason(and the flexibility) to come here at least once a week. If you’re looking for a good place to relax, unwind, have a conversation, meet interesting people, read, or hunker down and get some work done… this is the place for you.

This is a great spot. The menu has some tasty offerings, they’re open late, and there’s a lot of space indoors and out to enjoy the laid back atmosphere. Working nearby, this is a great place to walk over to for coffee and a sandwich for me. I come back here as often as possible.

Really great food, drinks & prices! I had a caprese sandwich that was really big & filling! Great portion for the price and so super yummy! The cheese was so fresh! I spent hours working on some projects here & I was so thankful that they have great wifi connection, lots of outlets, comfy seats & an adorable outside patio! I was able to get a lot of work done here & the barista was so nice! She had a ton of people ordering & she was the only person working. She wasn’t stressed at all, in fact she had a smile on her face & a super gracious kind attitude! She apologized for the wait, which was not long at all considering how many things she had to make & everything was so super delicious!

Great atmosphere. Great coffee. Come get work done or write your next book. But only tell one friend… definitely don’t Unilocal about it, because half the charm is the open space and choice of seating.

Very comfy cozy coffee shop in Cap Hill. The best part? They’re open til midnight — night owls rejoice! Their menu includes the usual coffee shop finds, as well as a few additional house favorites, including a lavender latte. This particular night they were out of lavender, so I will have to return very soon to try it. The pastries look great and the sandwiches look fantastic! If you’re looking for conversation, the patio out front is adorable(complete with globe lights and fire pit!) or any of their oversized leather couches are great for socializing. If you’re looking to get some work done, or simply procrastinate as I usually find myself doing, there are plenty of tables and outlets to get your study on!

Roostercat has all the usual coffees you are looking for, including a Dirty Chai. But what caught my eye is their Lavender Latte. It’s made with fresh lavender, a hint of sugar and milk. You can ask for an alternative to dairy. They also have soy, almond or coconut milk. I got mine iced and decaf. They have a great food menu with sandwiches you can make vegan and gluten-free. Some are Caprese, Hummus Veggie and Avocado Melt. Chorizo or Vegetarian breakfast burritos and bagels. It’s a fun, casual space with comfy couches for chilling or tables and chairs for working. The outdoor patio in front isn’t as fun as the rest of the place, only because loud traffic is constantly passing by. The place is worth visiting all the same.

Roostercat is a great café space. There are patio and inside areas. The space inside is fantastic and aesthetically very nice; I know they redesigned it and expanded the seating area. Wood tables and couches for when you want to relax with a paper or actually get some work done. The Coda coffee is very good and has been fresh whenever I pop in. They just revised their food menu, and I am glad they added in some items that a carnivore can enjoy(prior menu was vegetarian.) Though the patio is exposed to bust Lincoln, it is at a lower level so you get a separate feel. I’ve also noticed the clientele has changed here since they first opened, from grungy-hipsters to more professional/student, and upscale-hipster. This place is fantastic and I highly suggest you swing by there and enjoy a cup, a conversation and/or some work.

This space is amazing! I walked by one day and ended up popping in for coffee to-go, but I can’t wait to come back and relax here. Great set up and ambience. Lots of seating, it was calm and quiet when I was there and it seems like it would be a great spot to get some work done. Great espresso and most of all… they are open until midnight! You can’t beat that!

This is one of our favorite coffee shops to hold meetings, the atmosphere is mellow and mindful and the baristas are always friendly plus there is always a place to sit. If you get hungry there is a fantastic toast bar and all the paninis can be made with vegan cheese! The only downside is that some of the drink prices aren’t listed on the menu– and it cost five bucks for a drip coffee with warm almond milk in it, when the bottomless cup is a few bucks less. Which doesn’t make sense and no one can really explain why. Other than questionable pricing, this is a perfect spot that I don’t mind supporting with five dollar cups in exchange for wifi and good vibes. Warm drinks and world peace, Your Saucy Vegan

Love this place. So relaxed, great food great coffee. Free wifi, though I found it a little dodgy. They have 2 outdoor areas and one is non-smoking! Never seen that before — wish every restaurant and café picked up on that one. I got an iced mocha and a chorizo breakfast burrito. I don’t know if she was the owner but the girl at the counter would just kind of hangout with people when no one was ordering something. Really like that vibe, whether that’s management being non-jerks or an owner walking the talk.

I tried the cucumber, dill & cream cheese panini and thought it was crunchy and satisfying. It was served with some drizzled balsamic reduction on the plate and came out to be under $ 9. I wish the portion size was a little bigger. Jasmine tea came in a unique mug & was very fragrant. It was nice that they left the tea bag steeping inside so the drinker can control the strength of the tea. This is a great study spot and is open until 12! It can get loud @ night with the outdoor open mic nights. The front area has two fire pits along with benches and tables. There was an open mic night going on in the space right outside the café so there was some rapping and guitar playing going on but it was pretty cool & I was still able to study. The chair I was sitting on was really crooked and the back support was about to fall off so my suggestion would be to get some new furniture. The chairs were all different heights with the table so I had to have my arms up higher than I normally would sit. Inside there are shelves with books and board games. Majority of the patrons were on their computer & there were plenty of outlets.
