Our first time here before a show at Temple Buell was 1÷27÷16. We chose this spot due to its proximity to DPAC. It was easy to walk to and easy to find. We had early reservations(5:30pm) due to catching a mid-week show. Upon arrival, it was obvious that reservations for this time of night were not necessary. There was a larger group around the bar, no host at the host stand when we walked in, and nearly every table in the joint was empty. About three minutes passed and finally someone showed up to seat us. My wife and I were appropriately greeted and told we could choose any table we want. At this point, I wasn’t sure if this was the right spot to choose. The décor was cool, with the bar as a set back focal point. Dark woods, rustic brick, good windows on a nice Denver city corner. We ordered drinks, the Porkbelly Poutine, shared a 10oz Ribeye and Margherita Pizza. Drink list was okay. I would have liked to have more craft beer choices, but what they did have was a good selection of IPAs, DIPAs, and some heavy browns and barrel aged stouts. Poutine was really good. We took the advice of our server and subbed fries with tots and went to short, but effective work on sharing that appetizer. Steak was really pretty good. Good ribeye cut, cooked to a perfect pink, medium had a nice char to it and was seasoned just right. The Margherita Pizza was just okay. The crust was missing its slight crunch and the ingredients didn’t present or taste very fresh. All in all, I’d come back with a group for more of the bar scene, but would not choose this one again for the sit down, variety meal.

Reunion, a relatively new establishment where Prime used to be, is a classy bar with a creative and inspired menu. Great happy hour deals on food and drinks with friendly /talented bartenders. Reunion is a great option for drinks or dinner or both!

I really enjoyed Reunion. A big group of friends and I went out for my birthday, and we came in shifts(I know annoying, but try to get a group of 14 to do anything on time). We tried to get in at another place but it was a Saturday night and like I said we had a big group. So my roommates found reunion and we decided to try it. It was freakishly dead, which usually isn’t a good sign. But they put a table together, handled out rolling arrivals with ease. I shared polenta fries with a friend and started with a Manhattan. Both were so good. The menu isn’t huge, but the options were all tasty sounding. My friend and I shared two pizzas one was a margarita, and the B.F.A. Guys both were topped with really delicious and super fresh ingredients. My friends mostly got burgers and said they were really good as well. We left filled with killer drinks and awesome food. Now for service, we were the only people(besides a few at the bar), so we had three people waiting on us. One may have been in training, I’m not sure. It’s not a terribly fast place, but we didn’t care we were there to hang out anyway! I’d definitely recommend this place. Not what I expected, but it was a wonderful experience!

I have to say that this restaurant had the best service and the best waitress, i have had in many years! Darnit I wish I could remember her name! All I remember is that her and the Chef are going to buy a house for me in a few years!!! The burger was the best burger I have ever eaten anywhere! This restaurant is a win-win! I don’t know if the service made the burger taste so good or if the burger taste so good that it made the service fantastic but either way you have to try this restaurant out!!!

A merry group of pre-show goers came in for an early dinner before A Christmas Carol. The restaurant was empty so we had our choice of tables and our server, Michael, was friendly and attentive. The highlights were the chicken street tacos, the pork belly poutine and the fig, Brie and apple pizza. The chicken wings need work a flavorless and tough. All in all, the food was good but didn’t blow our minds, hence the three stars, but I would definitely recommend it to people looking for a good happy hour or pre-show fuel up.

Came in alone, there was no wait for tables, sat at bar, ordered a burger. 20 mins later the bartender went to check, came back and said«sorry they said it will be 1 more minute». 15 mins later, I got up and left. Sad! Now I’m at Sam’s No3. across the street. A diner that can fill within an hour wait and still put a burger out in 10 minutes. Save your money and get a better, quicker meal 200 feet away from Reunion. Step it up people! 1 dude at the bar orders a burger and fries and it’s greater than 35mins to put it together!!! I don’t know what happened there but If the cooks lost the ticket, be honest with me so I understand the goof up. If they really are that in the weeds back there, manage your store better. You’re too new to Suck at service already. It’s a Thursday and you’re not busy for goodness sake.

Living the new place!!! Replaces the former«Prime Steakhouse» and I must say its a better place, and by the same owner I must add… Modern, dark woods, awesome ambiance… Happy hour ends at 630p, not like 7p before!!! Have the Reuben… Wow! Great beer selection and place for pre-theatre dinner or nosh!

They were only open for a month when we tucked in for a last minute staff dinner #meeting. Housed in the corner spot of a residential high rise I wasn’t sure what to expect. Once in side it had a large bar, bar seating @ high boys, booths and long the side and more seating in the back. Good service! The food is farm-to-table: Started with homemade chips with an aioli yum! Burger was juicy and rich. Brie Pizza was amazing! with figs and velvety balsamic reduction. Cold Corn Soup was refreshing and crisp! Fried Polenta good not as crispy as I would’ve like but we ate it! I’d go back again the next time I am in town!

This place was so much better when it was Prime Steakhouse. I walked with my girlfriend and was never greeted. We even made eye contact with both the bar tender and a server and still after 5 minutes in an empty bar still got no service. Ended up walking out before even trying anything.

Our waitress told us that this restaurant has only been open a week when we went in? I am thoroughly impressed. Staff has a little more training to do and there are some kinks to work out with quickness of service but overall I was really pleased. My date and I shared the crispy pigs ears and bone marrow, the wild game tacos and the mussels. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Smaller portion sizes but decent prices for the quality of food. Cocktails were also great– we tried the End of Summer and Harold and Maude and loved both.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. The food menu is unique as most gastropubs aim for. Nothing really caught our eye so we tried the wings and mussels. Wings were tasty, mussels and clams did not have much flavor. Wish we had been a mood to try more on the menu. Only thing they have done better was bring plates.

Overall, this resturant is tremendously greater than the previous steakhouse before it. The remodel has drastically improved the lighting and interior, while the food is incredibly well prepared and delicious. I believe the food merits the price. Will be here again for sure!

Did you love Prime Steakhouse like I did? Sadly it’s passed away and the space has been redone & transformed into Reunion. There is no $ 10 steak here… Though they still have a happy hour. Overall everything is a little more pricey. The crab sliders were tasty, though it looks like only 1 slider and not plural at all. Best bang for your buck is probably the happy hour chicken taco which is only $ 2 per taco and a good size. Also the«pickled eggs» is just one whole pickled egg. The staff was friendly, though they took a little while to clear plates away; but they just opened 3 days ago so they are probably still getting in their routine. Also, all drinks are $ 2 off during happy hour even though it doesn’t say it on the menu.
