I haven’t been to Perkins in years. It’s a little out of the way from were I live, however I was in the mood for breakfast for dinner so stopped by. This is not the same type of Perkins I was used to several years ago. The speed of service, quality, taste of the food and atmosphere(given it’s a diner) were all great. In terms of service, I was extremely pleased and impressed with my server Rachel. She not only was personable, attentive and friendly, but was very accommodating to my diet needs with suggestions and substitutions. A+ service, which nowadays is rare to find(and I always check in and write reviews). Anyway, I might actually have to come back now based off the great and pleasant experience. Thank you Perkins and special Thank you to Rachel!

Unfortunately, I am required to attend meetings at this restaurant often and it is the same EVERY month. We walk in and no one seats us. It takes about 15 minutes to get water(which after and hour and half is never refilled). We asked for ketchup twice and ended up getting it ourselves. The worst part, every time we go up to pay, there is a line and NO staff member in sight. It is not the waitresses fault; she is serving an entire restaurant by herself which is why the service is terrible. The Manager either cannot schedule or they are understaffed. Either way, this is not a prudent business model nor does it lead to success.

Won’t take carry out orders. Force you to wait a half hour for their cooks to make 1 sandwich instead. Never returning.

Clara the night waitress is amazing. We make the drive out just for her. We always feel good leaving. She’s wonderful.

Amazing potato pancake breakfast & couldn’t resist the French Silk pie, just a little slice of Heaven. Drove 500 miles & this meal was on my brain. And I was not disappointed. Service by Stacy was fantastic! Thank you!

I received a call from the general manager for this Perkins this morning, promising to turn things around at the restaurant. This doesn’t change my miserable experience yesterday, but it gives me hope for future visits to this Perkins location. I’ll update as time goes on.

Left before ordering, after midnight. Wanted to get some reading done with some breakfast, but realized that this would be unlikely with staff making a lot of electronic noise(playing phone games). Looking around, I saw the place was not dirty, but as if little time was spent doing the bare minimum of cleaning chores. The menu looked somewhat expensive for the type of fare, and I was willing to pay it had it felt cleaner, with less unnecessary(staff-generated) noise.

The service is great but now I hate Perkins because they no longer carry key lime pie or freaking CHEESECAKE!!! Whoever made them quit carrying is a freaking IDIOT!!!

We tried going here and we stood in the lobby for more than 10 mins with 2 toddlers! Did not even get a «Will be right with you or one moment please» not one word ended up leaving and going somewhere else. We have gone to other Perkins restaurants before but never to this one and they were not even busy besides the building looked old and dirty, it smelled weird too… So if u don’t want to be ignored don’t go here. Terrible, terrible terrible Service!!!

Ugh compete contrast of what my prior experience was. I might of been wearing an Avalanche cap and I got seated in a prime section. I had my Met cap on this time and got sat in the very back. The waitress seemed cold and uninviting and did the bare minimum. No eye contact or a how are you doing. She even put the check down with my meal then walked away. More importantly, the waitress never came back to see how I was doing and never offered me any refills on my iced tea. She just seem to forget about me like I forgot about her tip. I complained to the hostess /cashier and she said it would get addressed. Very disappointing service it ruined the whole meal experience. I hope this doesn’t happen again. I will be talking directly with the manager the next time this debacle transpires. Well, I’m back in the booth again at another visit here at Perkins. Quiet crowd on at cold sleeting day. The weather does match the vibe I’m getting. The same manager took me back to the booth I despised last time, so u definitely don’t think it’s a coincidence. I think I caught him off guard this time cause I requested to sit in the other better room, not at this booth in the back by the kitchen because he mentioned that the tables might not be clean. Well I counted… Yo know I think I just had a breakthrough. The room I’m sitting in seems more desolate then what I thought was the desolate one. So the seating is all random. The waitresses here do seem like the weather today, chilly. Hopefully they will warm up to you like the weather would in a month. Pleasantly surprised paying for the bill. Better vibe in the other room and the manager was friendly. Ugh what a train wreck this review became lolOl

This is your standard Perkins. Luckily, they are consistent with their service and their food, so you know what you’re getting. And, make sure to check the board at the door to see if there are any coupons for the day.

There aren’t enough Perkins restaurants in Denver so we barely go, but this one is worth the drive from time to time. We feel like outsiders there because we are pretty much the only people eating there that aren’t regulars, but the service doesn’t show that. Our server did a great job taking care of us, and the food was great as well.

Went to go eat lunch today, and the host at the front did not say hello or welcome, he acted as if he was annoyed we where there! He sat us at the table and left, I noticed that he sat two other people down and asked if they wanted something to drink! I thought that was odd because we where not asked anything! Then our waiter went to the same table and asked if they where doing ok! The same waiter came to our table and asked if the host was getting our drinks, I said no he didn’t even ask, the waiter proceeded to tell me very loudly that, that is not his job, do I asked then why did he get the other tables drinks, he said cause he was busy, then when he brought our drinks he slammed the coffee pot down and left didn’t see him for 10 min, i sat there wondering why would he ask if the host got my drinks if it was not his job? I have never been talked to like that, and yes I’m still pissed, so we left and went to village inn, and we where greeted with a smile and the waitress was outstanding and for that she received a 30 dollar tip! I will never go back there again

Alright, so my original review said the pie made this place worth while. However after todays carryout order got jumbled and messed up, again. I have bumped it down to three stars. Do not get me wrong, I still love their French Silk Pie, I just want the rest of my order to be correct too.

Hardy, Affordable Entrees & Delicious, Fresh-Baked Pastries Perkins Restaurant and Bakery is an American restaurant chain known for serving up hardy, affordable entrees and delicious, fresh-baked pastries. Matt and Ivan Perkins opened Perkins Pancake House in 1958. Wyman Nelson, an entrepreneurial franchisee, helped to incorporate an expanded food offering a decade later. Finally, Donald N. Smith introduced in-store bakeries in the mid-eighties, making Perkins what it is today. This particular Perkins is a testament to the passion and hard work of all those individuals who came before. For a very reasonable price, you can enjoy a pleasant-tasting meal while receiving competent, homespun service. Feeling a bit indecisive? Perkins is first and foremast a topnotch breakfast spot. Try the Ham & Cheese Omelette, a traditional favorite of diced ham and American cheese. Every omelette is prepared with three Grade AA large eggs and served with sides: Choice of hash browns, breakfast potatoes or fruit and choice of three buttermilk or two multigrain nut pancakes, fresh baked Mammoth Muffin®, or whole wheat, white or rye toast. The menu is quite expansive, so don’t stop there. It’s all good!!! Don’t forget to download the Perkins app on your smartphone for a 20% discount and future offers. Have a marvelous meal!

If there was such a rating as minus 5 stars, I would give that to the Perkins on S Colorado. I live 1 min away from the restaurant. One chilly winter evening we decided to walk there to have dinner, some«comfort food» and I already was craving chicken pot pie, the one they are advertising in cheap cartoon style on their windows. We also received a 20% off discount card from them, so I was quite excited. Please, do yourself a favor. Go to McDonalds instead, even KFC, or any other fast food place because it will be cheaper, much more tasty and waaay more classy. I asked for hot tea(reminder: it was a chilly winter evening), and the glass that came still had somebody’s lipstick on it. They don’t serve alcohol there, I think it;s a mistake because this could have made our evening not so bad, and maybe their disgusting food would not seem that disgusting. I tried the crust from the pie and discovered the batter was from a premade store bought sour dough, YIKES! I decided to keep positive attitude and dug deeper into the the essence of the chicken pot pie and discovered this was straight from a Campbell can. UGH. That’s quite skillful. My husband had a very strange looking and dry burger. He was also keeping a positive attitude. After the waitress looking very much like she was on drugs offered us some dessert, we decided to get the hell out before our positive attitude ends completely. So, there you go. Needless to say, I was happy to spend 20% less on that super garbage!!! Way to go, Perkins marketing department!!!

Had a craving for chicken pot pie and had a 20% coupon, so off to Perkins we went. We both ordered the chicken pot pie and it came with a garden salad. Everything was really good and for $ 9.99 that was a pretty good deal. The garden salad was a good size and the pot pie had a flaky, tasty crust and lots of big chunks of chicken and vegetables. Also, if you buy an entrée you can order a beverage and pie/cake for $ 3.99. I had the chocolate pie with coffee and my daughter red velvet cake with hot chocolate. It was a perfect end to a good meal. They have a good variety of different dishes on their menu, so will come back to try some of them.

The main reason we keep coming here is because it’s conveniently located across from the movie theater. We always find ourselves seeking satiation after enjoying a flick. The service is meh. Our waitress did not smile once this last time. She almost seemed bothered to serve us. There were about 3 other patrons at the time. I decided to go against my urge to do breakfast and did the tuna melt and a slice of pie. Both were actually really tasty. The food is good, and due to convenience I’ll likely return.

I know this probably sounds a bit crazy but my meal was perfect! My Granny omlette came to the table looking JUSTLIKE the one pictured on the menu! THISHASNEVERHAPPENEDTOME. EVER. I must also mention the service was great as well. If you find yourself hungry on Colorado and I-25 area around 6am I highly recommend this Perkins location.
