Mici serves fantastic italian food. They stick with mostly classics and they seem to do everything well. I love their spaghetti and meatball and the bread it is served with is rustic and flavorful. The sauce is excellent and the headband are tender and flavorful. Their pizzas are founded on a thin crust with high qualify meats and cheeses on top. The mini cannolis are the best I’ve ever had. They are filled to order. Everything here tastes home made with fresh ingredients. I love this place.

I’ve had dinner this Mici’s location a couple of times. I ordered their pizza Margherita once and also a pasta Alfredo. Neither meal was particularly outstanding. Pizza Margherita looks really great when it is cooked with fresh mozzarella, the mixture of sauce and mozzarella can complement each other well and looks cool on the pie. If done right it doesn’t need any other flavorings. Thing is, a basic, savory red sauce isn’t difficult to make. Mici’s red sauce did not have a nice tomato/savory flavor and the result was that the pizza wasn’t a particularly noteworthy version of a Margherita. I saved a little for lunch leftovers the next day. It did not improve overnight. They gave me dried Parmesan and crushed red pepper with the pizza??? C’mon, they don’t do that in Naples. That’s a Domino’s move. Try harder. I also had pasta Alfredo which was really kind of bland. White/cream sauces can wash out other flavor, that’s the risk of using a cream/butter and cheese as a sauce base. However, Mici’s Alfredo didn’t even have much flavor in that context. It was almost like I was eating a roux over pasta. I saved a little for left-overs; it had even less flavor the next day. The interior of the restaurant is crisp and clean but seemed like an echo chamber. There were a couple groups with kids in there when I stopped by. It sounded like I was sitting inside a tin can after a while. To that point, it does advertise as a kid-friendly place, and that’s cool. I’m actually a little bummed out about writing a negative review. I was hoping something good would stick at this particular location along Colorado Blvd. It’s been a revolving door of establishments. There’s really no such thing as a convenient location along Colorado Blvd any more unless you like sitting in traffic. And yes, in 2016, one does need to consider the ease of access of a place in Denver. This isn’t a great location unless you are walking or taking the bus. And while I have no ill regard toward Mici’s or its employees(they were nice and polite,) I won’t be going back, nor will I be recommending Mici’s to anyone else.

Decided to have Sunday Night supper with friends here and honestly, I was SO impressed! It was not that I didn’t have good expectations but it really was just so good that I told my friends it should become our regular spot for Sunday dinners! For food — the lasagna!!! I seriously think it is some of the best lasagna I have had — and considering the number of places I have been here, that says a LOT. It was just amazing! I paired it with the small side Caesar and believe me, there was nothing small about that salad! My friends had the Piatti Antipasti(which was huge and also really good) and the Tortellini Alla Miceli which was incredibly rich but also sooo good! Oh! And we decided to start with the Bruschetta Bianca which was just ridiculously good! An interesting combo with the honey and gorgonzola — but it works so definitely recommend! And to round out our already incredibly filling meal, we of course had to get Gelato because why wouldn’t you!!! I am sure the flavors rotate but if they have the Salted Caramel Oreo and Birthday Cake flavors — GETTHEM! Overall — just a great experience! The service was awesome — they checked on us regularly and were incredibly friendly. I look forward to going back here soon and have raved about it since!

gave these guys 3 and 4 chances and the service was horrible every time. 100% of the time they got our order wrong. They did give is a $ 25 credit last time so we bought once more using the credit but even that time they messed up. I wish all small businesses well but I have moved on from this pizza place.

Good food, very clean and excellent service. I was really impressed with the piatto antipasti.

This place is decent, but I can’t say I share the enthusiasm of some fellow Unilocalers. Their bread is similar to a sour dough, a little firm. The pasta dishes(From what I’ve had) are fine… pesto cream bow tie, alfredo, red sauce. The house has grapes and cheese, I think gorgonzola. But the one I had needed more fixins. I appreciate the price point of the house wine but am especially grateful for the Monday nights when free entrees are available to the kids. All in all a good week night option.

Not particularly flavorful pasta or sauce. I was forced to clean the table myself(with many tables non-bussed). The help brings the spaghetti 45 seconds after delivering the salad. The salad is unremarkable, consisting of lettuce with lettuce and what appears as store bought dressing. Bread is ordinary. I know we are short on ecviting Italian venues(aside from Piatti and Barolo grill), but after spending over $ 16, I’m frustrated at myself for committing this. I do like Il Pastaio in Boulder, but more costly. Chaotic dining area with kids everywhere and balloons.

Got takeout — we ordered 2 calzones and a pesto pasta dish. The calzones were enormous! They didn’t skimp on cheese, meats, or veggies. Cheese was clearly very fresh and gooey. The dipping marinara was cold but I can let that slide. The pasta was a liiiiiittle disappointing. It was a bit dry but I think that’s just what happens with pasta that you take to-go. The one truly unforgivable issue was that they had run out of lasagna. On a Monday. At 7pm. That is a big no-no for any Italian joint. But given the rest of the food, I will give them a second chance and go try it out.

Even though they’re famous for their pizza, I ate pizza the night before so my boyfriend and I ordered the tortellini and chicken pesto panini. Large portions, hardy and filling dishes, and extremely friendly staff. The chicken was a bit dry in the panini. It was tasty but nothing special in my opinion. Next time I would probably try a different sandwich and definitely will try the pizza!

I came in with my sister after a VA appointment and was raving to her about their breakfast frittatas! Sadly they are no longer serving breakfast during the weekday, only on the weekends. Still one of my favorite local restaurants in that area. Looking forward to the patio opening up!

Just the best. The food is amazing and the customer service is over the top! I didn’t think it was possible to make a better lasagna than my mother’s…until I went to Mici’s. Their lasagna is made the real way with ricotta cheese. I highly recommend the lasagna in the restaurant OR take-out if you are having a group over for dinner. Your guests will think it is homemade! You can’t beat the quality or the price.

I had been excited to try this place for a while and was glad to see a new location open by me. Little did I know that the Cherry Creek location had moved here. I came with a large party of co-workers for lunch. The staff were very friendly, and the food came out quickly. I was excited to see the pick 2 lunch deal. I had half of an insalata della casa and half a tacchino sandwich(turkey pesto panini). The salad had a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. The panini was crisp and had just the right amount of filling. I very much appreciated that it wasn’t super soggy. I’ll definitely be coming back for more food in the future. I’m excited to try their breakfast menu.

The store and the story are wonderful and the Miceli family are some of the nicest you will meet! The family recipes are so tasty — the lasagna isn’t just on Tuesday any more! I highly recommend this new location, it has a great vibe. You definitely won’t regret giving it a try!

Two words: Breakfast pizza! So I’ve never been to Mici’s before my visit this past weekend but somehow heard about them and signed up for their email list and have been getting offers for them. I got a BOGO breakfast entrée coupon and decided that we should be put that bad boy to use and pop my Mici’s cherry. We went in around noon on Saturday and there was one other table seated and by the time we left, there were about four more dining as well so I like to think we started the lunch rush. The employees were outstanding — so friendly, inviting, smiling and asking us if we had ever been in there. You walk up, order then they bring the food out to you so it’s a fast casual concept but they didn’t miss a beat on the service. While we were waiting for our pizzas they gave us samples of their gelato(not made in house, but made in Boulder so close enough), the Andes Mint and Blood Orange Creamsicle had my heart but I stopped myself before filling out for the main course. I ordered the Ortolana breakfast pizza which is a semi vegetarian option) with the egg cooked in, topped with red peppers, zucchini and cheese and it was fantastic. Tip-get a side of marinara sauce to dip it in and it will take you to a whole new level! I grabbed a slice to go, had it the next morning and topped with a fried egg and I was in heaven. Join their email club and you will get sent special offers like I did plus a free pizza on your birthday! Other places really need to take tips in service and hospitality from Mici’s!

I love Mici! I used to get takeout from their old Cherry Creek location and I am hype they are even closer to my house now. Their ingredients are very fresh, they use incredible olive oil, and the hospitality is on point. You can tell the family who owns this place really cares about their business and their customers.

Great new location(they used to be in Cherry Creek). I added them on Unilocal since this address wasn’t listed since their relocation. This is a two part review because I went in on a Friday for dinner and then the following Monday, 1 Feb 2016 for breakfast. They just officially opened the evening of the 28th of January 2016. I stopped in the next day in the evening because I needed to unwind after a long week of jury duty. This location has a very open and inviting space, comfortable with plenty of room for ordering, waiting for take-out and for dining. They also have a garage door on one side of the dining room that can be opened for dining al fresco and a great patio area which will be awesome during the summer months. I ordered the 10 inch Traditional Molto Carne Pizza(free since I am a rewards member), a small caesar salad and a glass of the house red wine. The prices are very reasonable and they offer a 25% military discount! My order came out within 10 minutes and the pizza, salad and wine were on point! The pizza was hot and flavorful and the caesar salad was fresh and the wine just complemented my meal in a perfect way. You can really tell when fresh ingredients are used and Mici’s does it with everything they make. They also have great gelato in a variety of flavors. I was able to interact with Lisa and Jeff on Friday and they made me feel very welcome and were very friendly, attentive and efficient. There is plenty of free parking and they are working on getting the WiFi installed. In the meantime you can use the free WiFi from the Indian restaurant next door. On Monday, I went in to get breakfast to go since I had appointments at the VA(very convenient since it is just two blocks away). Sarah, the Manager, took my order and she was so friendly, professional and efficient. Their coffee is delicious with no bitterness and Sarah let me know a Master Barista created this perfect blend called Amante Coffee Mici Blend for their machines in Decaf and Regular. For breakfast I decided on the Lazio Frittata(egg white, spinach, tomato, parmesan on garlic bread) and I also got the Ortolana Breakfast Pizza Slice(egg, mozzarella, zucchini, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts and Parmigiano-Reggiano). Since I had a BOGO coupon, I ate the Lazio Frittata(so flavorful!!) and then gave my brother-in-law the Ortolana Pizza Slice. He loved it! Kids eat free on Mondays after 4pm with purchase of an adult entrée. They also cater and deliver. Catering orders can be placed online. They have beer, wine and other beverages. This is a welcome addition to this neighborhood and will definitely become a neighborhood gem in no time. This is the only location that offers breakfast and it is great competition for Snooze which is right across the street and who wants to wait an hour or more for breakfast when you can get an awesome and quick breakfast at a great price at Mici’s!

Well, I’ll start by saying that I don’t usually write reviews but I can’t help myself. This place is absolutely AMAZING! I’ve always enjoyed Italian cuisine but I can honestly say that Mici has the freshest, most authentic meals that I have ever had(in this country). I’ll also add that I lived in Italy for a time and Mici could give the homeland a run for their money. Sarah, the manager, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The entire staff goes above and beyond… I’m so thankful that Mici opened up shop in this neighborhood. I have been in the food and beverage industry for over 10 years and it takes a lot to really WOW but this place does it! I can’t express how awesome this staff is — from the back to the front — AND, they just opened! How many newly opened establishments can provide this kind of impressive service and products? Few and far between! Go here, eat here, order from here… You will not be disappointed!
