This place is so good! Clean and super friendly. I had Al Pastor, Barbacoa, and Asada tacos. Aside from being super fresh, cheap, authentic, and coming with free chips and salsa AND bean dip, the barbacoa taco was by far the best I’ve ever had. Holy moly. Try this place.

Love this place! Staff is so nice, food is amazing and the price is right. I always go in knowing exactly what I want, but today they gave me the wrong order. Couldn’t be happier… I have a new favorite. I just I wish I knew what it is that I’m eating!

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants! Great customer service and great food! Best chili reanos and green chili out there! Food is decently priced. I love their bean dip and salsa.

Love this place for an authentic, cheap meal with great service. Went there for breakfast yesterday and had a lot of food for not a lot of money. They serve breakfast until noon and I had a hankering for huevos rancheros at 11:45. And so I got what I wanted and it was awesome! My husband ordered four tacos for about $ 7. They were street tacos(double flour tortillas with meat, cilantro, and some other fillings). He loved it. They also served us free chips and salsa-a regular salsa and a warm, delicious bean-type(almost green chili sauce) salsa. The staffs was very attentive. We had a waitress, but two other people came by to see how we were doing. This is our neighborhood Mexican food joint and it is very good!

This establishment has been my go-to for mid morning menudo cravings. The staff here is very friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I see people ordering dozens of handheld burritos to-go here in the morning so they can definitely handle the high-volume to-go orders. Pro-Tip: Call in your order on the way!

El Valle has a nice variety of standard Denver Mexican dishes as well as a few that you will not find as readily at other places. I’ve had many items from the menu and have never been disappointed. I would come here more often if they had a liquor license. The bean tip with the chips is a nice starter. They have a fairly extensive vegetarian menu for a Mexican place.

This little gem of a restaurant is wonderful. I found it by chance and didn’t have high expectations by the looks of it. After I sat down and took one bite of my blissful chimichanga smothered in their green chile I was hooked. I went with the spicy hot green chili and it was the perfect heat. The prices on the lunch menu make it that much harder to stay away. I have taken multiple co-workers here for lunch and I have yet to hear a one of them complain. Good service and a good food!

Came here for the colita de pavo torta, it was good. Complimentary chips and salsa(and bean dip) were great, service was good, and a very nice, clean restaurant too. Very good prices as well. I’ll be back fairly often.

This place is great. Delicious, reasonable, family-run, and friendly. If they had margaritas I’d be here more than I already am(which is a lot!) They also have lunch specials M-F.

The food was great! Green chile wasn’t hot but the flavor was fantastic! If I lived here I’d come often. Staff was awesome too.

I really liked the huevos ranchero. I also tried the chicken enchiladas moles. The were great but a bi too sweet if the cut down some sweetness they would be just like I had in Mexico.

Close to work for me, so I come here often for lunch. Despite it’s outward appearance in a dingy strip mall at 38th and Federal, the inside is clean and comfortable. On certain days for lunch this place is packed. Some of the absolute best Mexican food in town. Lunch specials for $ 7 and the complimentary chips are properly freshly fried. Bean dip that accompanies them is the bomb! Get past the Mexican soap operas blaring on the TV’s in the corners, and enjoy!

I’ve been here over 20 times, mostly due to proximity but it’s great. There’s lines out the door for breakfast burritos, and if you dine in for lunch or dinner they bring chips, 2 salsas and bean dip for free, then offer to smother your plate ½ spicy and ½ mild. They have Mexican Coke. Their dishes don’t try to murder you with greasy cheese(but I’m sure you could ask). There’s a real human flamenco guitarist quietly blowing minds on weekends.

Hands down, this place has the best Mexican breakfast/brunch in Denver! The service is friendly and quick, and the food is tasty and crazy inexpensive. The enormous breakfast burritos are my favorite, whether dining in or ordering take-out. The bean dip the serve with their chips and salsa is also super tasty.

Our first authentic Mexican food experience since moving from North Carolina. And I have to say, this food was the best authentic, original Mexican food I’ve had. Came with fresh salsa and a bean dip. My boyfriend loved his dish as well and the steak is really good. Get a bottled/can drink though– there was dirty specks in both my cups of Sprite and my boyfriends tea definitely wasn’t tea o_O

This is a decent Mexican restaurant or the area. Services was very friendly and prompt. The salsa and bean deep to start were delicious, and the queso fundido was quite good(with warm flour and corn tortillas). We went big on the main dishes because it was Cinco de Mayo, getting the Platillo Mexicano and the Trio Enchiladas El Valle. Since Cinco de Mayo is especially celebrated in Puebla, and mole is notably Poblano, I wanted to try their mole as well as their red and green enchilada sauces. The mole was disappointing, but this could very well have been because it mixed with the other sauces. The red enchilada sauce was not very tasty, but the green enchilada was very good. The rice was cooked to perfection but the refried beans had a very strange(not good) taste to them — which was odd because the bean dip to start was fantastic. On the Platillo Mexicano we had a little sample of everything, which could again have been spoiled by one of the sauces. The Chile Relleno was very good, but everything else was pretty average. The tamales were ok, the taco was a taco, and the red enchilada was not great. If we go back, we’ll stick to the Queso, Chile Rellenos, and Green Enchiladas.

Your average Mexican restaurant. I would eat lunch here again if it was convenient. + Pleasant atmosphere. Well lit. + Friendly and competent service. + Chips + salsa + bean dip. + Wi-Fi(free) 0 Torta was average. Nothing special. Just blah. 0 Thin paper napkins, but plenty of them via the dispenser on the table. — Rock hard chairs and benches made from plywood. — I read the restaurant inspection report after I ate here. A reason to think twice about returning.

This is one of my favorite taquerias in the area. Their tacos are not offered a la cart like you traditionally find in most taquerias, but rather entrée-style, consisting of 4 tasty handmade tacos for $ 6.50…a pretty great value! They also have fantastic chips and salsa, that include a bean dip. Added bonus: they have probably a dozen or more pictures of roosters, hanging throughout the establishment, giving you ample opportunities to make childish ‘cock’ jokes.
