Love this family owned salon! The owners are super nice and everything is so clean and they do the best job on my nails every time! By far the best place in town.

Terrible service! Incredibly rude! I walk in, no hi or hello. Then I ask how long the wait is, twice. And there’s no answer. So I just leave. Worst service ever, do NOT recommend!

Sadly I have decided I will not return to this salon. I have been«stuck» with Mary, who I assume is the manager or owner, my past few visits and have had horrible service. She is mean and aggressive. While doing my manicure she cut my cuticles down way too far, so much so that they bled. I was so uncomfortable with her bad attitude that I did not enjoy my mani/pedi at all. Now on to begin my trek for a new salon.

They change their prices every time! Brought my little girl in to get her nails painted two weeks ago $ 5, plus tip. Today $ 10. Dad’s beware!

Love this place. Very thorough. As a runner my toe nails get damages all the time and they smooth them out for me

I have been going to Mary’s salon since they opened. It is always very clean and they do the best nails around. I love the hot towels and quick back rubs at the end. Again, not super chatty but neither am I. They also do not do acrylic nails here so I don’t get high off of fumes!

I will never come to this shop again. I received a mani/pedi from Mary, the owner, last Friday 9÷1÷13. She was rude & hostile. She kept throwing around her tools & accidentally cut herself in the process. She did not do what I asked her to on my pedicure & then tried to cut the sides of my toe nails, which I distinctly asked her NOT to do as it causes ingrown toe nails. I almost walked out when she sat me at the mani table & proceeded to clean all her pedicure tubs before she began my mani. THEN she proceeded to «tear» my cuticles off with her clippers. After the 3rd cut & «ouch» I asked her to not be so aggressive, her answer was my cuticles were to thick. Please — I have never received such an awful & painful mani in my life. Nor have I encountered an owner so hostile!

I recently moved, and asked Siri for the closest nail salon, where I found Classic Nails. I walked in the store, where there was complete silence and they all just stared at me. First red flag, should’ve turned around and left. Sat down after she asked me «what I needed» … Mary, who I assume is the manager did my service. I have never met someone so rude, irreverent, cold, callous, or awful in my entire life. My eyes were tearing when I left the salon because I felt so belittled and abused by her. Sometimes my fingers would accidentally move into her way and she SWATTED them away with an angry ‘humph.’ My chair was slightly turning to the side, and she leaned over the table, taking the arms of the chair and RIPPED the chair forward to her. My body felt hot with humiliation and embarrassment … Mary was seemingly enraged, filing my nails recklessly, way too hard. My pinky started bleeding profusely … She took a q-tip with some bluish substance and put it on my cut which made it burn and stop bleeding? No apology, nothing … I rejected my immature thoughts of leaving without giving her a tip, but I was kind and gave her 5 dollars in addition to my 45 dollar service. She took it without saying a darn thing to me. I have never been so upset in my life, all I wanted was a reasonable nail service. I would never recommend this place, even to my worst enemy.

I really enjoyed my experience at Classic Nails. I came in 10am on a Saturday, and had no problem getting an appointment. The nail technician was very meticulous and was not skimpy on the hand massage either. I got a shellac nail polish and it was very well done. My hands feel very relaxed and smooth. Very reasonable prices too! I had over an hour of pampering and was only charged $ 30, which is on the cheap end for a shellac application. I am very happy with the experience and would recommend it to any of my friends.

This is not actually Joel… but they linked it to my husbands facebook… sorry! I love a good pedicure and about 7 years ago I found Classic Nails… and I haven’t gone any place else since! The ladies there are professional and friendly… I don’t like small talk… I just want to read a People magazine and get my toes done… and that is what I get!

I was so excited to find a salon open on Sunday to get my nails filled that I didn’t let the many red flags deter me from having the worst manicure of my life: There were no other clients in the salon, there were cardboard nail files and buffers in the«sanitizer» machine, there were no visible, posted licenses, no drills and there were no jars of pink or white powder. I had to remind the tech that I needed a white fill after she began painting gel on my nails. A second tech then painted on a white«gel» to fill the white part of my nails– which I had never seen before. After that, the first tech began to file my nails and the white painted tips rolled off. She super-glued it back on. After this happened 3 times, I removed myself from my chair and asked to be rung up, telling them that I wanted to go home and was really dissatisfied. They asked me to please stay, then peeled off all the white tips, filed and glazed my nails and told me I didn’t need my tips done anyway. My white tips were(and are while I write this) grown out past the natural growth line. Please take the time to keep looking for a great nail salon.

This is the cleanest salon in town! The tubs are clean for the pedicures. I have been going here for over three years without any kind of fungus or problem. Mary runs a great salon! My mom has diabetes and the girls are just wonderful to her. They help her with her shoes and take really gentle care with her feet. No, they are not real chatty, but I like not hearing about all sorts of unnecessary gossip anyway. I find this salon more professional than any of the others. $ 40 for a mani/pedi in a clean salon is not expensive! Fruit in Alter??? I don’t think were talking about the same place.

I have tried to like this place. It’s close to my house and my most frequented grocery store. I’ve tried being friendly but every single time I’ve been in(this is visit #5 or so) I feel like I’m bothering the manicurists and taking away from their duties sitting around and visiting or replacing the fruit in their alter. I tip well. I’m courteous, I don’t make demands, I just like a nice pedicure. This is more expensive than the regular place because they give you a distracted back pounding while they shout to their friends. It’s really a Seinfeld episode isn’t it? «Look! She’s annoyed we don’t remember her again!» «Her feet are soooo rough — I had to use a #4,566 file on her!!» Oh, well. I’m back to Holly Nail — worth the little bit of a drive down Leetsdale.
