Cool place with great décor. They have a Ducati cycle on display. My boyfriend ordered a almond milk latte and I had an almond milk steamer. Barista was a nice guy. Gave 4 stars because we asked for extra hot and got luke warm. We try new cafes on the weekends and some places just dont make the drinks hot enough. This is one of them.

I’ll be perfectly honest«working class fashion» is a terrible catch phrase for your business. It utilized a false nostalgia for the aesthetics of the working class. By romanticizing the distressed jeans and shabby chic leather boots of the supposed working class you veil the real history of violent class struggle that affected and effects millions world wide. Real human beings still work in sweatshops, mines, and factories under dangerous conditions that are grossly under compensated. For you to use their fashion as an empty marketing ploy is not only ignorant but also decidedly not hip. It’s not a «good look»

So I have this thing for coffee shops clad in white subway tile, industrial lighting, and reclaimed wood. Bellwether can certainly be added to my collection of «cutest coffee shops in Denver». Not only does it look super awesome inside but they also sell whiskey, beer, and apparel. The barista was incredibly friendly, and the coffee was excellent. An awesome addition to the neighborhood!

This place is quite interesting. It’s a coffee shop/whiskey bar/clothing store. I feel as though it’s a little pretentious, but I had an INCREDIBLE old fashioned. My friend had an amazing Manhattan as well. Drinks were perfectly done. I mean, you should definitely check it out. I’m not quite sure of their«mission» though.

I’m super excited that this place was recently added to Denver’s coffee repertoire. East Colfax doesn’t have as much in terms of kitschy boutiques or eateries, so Bellwether definitely fulfills a need. If you have seen pictures, it’s ridiculously cute in there. I love the clean white lines and the cute phrases scattered around the shop. Plus, there’s a bunch of skulls and a Ducati. What’s not to like? They also sell some select merchandise, from local Ruckus Apparel and some really nice Red Wing boots. I love how everything is set up– it was clean, bright, and cozy. I didn’t have any whiskey, but apparently thats available as well. If I still lived in Denver, I’m sure I would come here pretty often. Yes, its a bit painfully hip, and I(unapologetically) love it.

I’m a little worried this place is style over substance. Coffee quality is inconsistent. First cappuccino I got there was great… but the second was really watery and I had a hard time finishing it. I’m all for cool coffee shop concepts, but first things first: quality!

Awesome atmosphere! Great drinks and the service is exceptional. They really care about what they do and it shows. Every time I go in the vibes are friendly and welcoming, and it’s a great addition to East Colfax. My favorite is the Old Fashioned or if you’re feeling more low key, their tea selection is excellent. I also love the retail side of it, with some really cool brands like Love for Lemons, Ruckus, and Red Wing. And the hats… WOW. The whole place is relaxing, friendly, and just cool. Highly recommend if you like shopping, coffee, tea, or whiskey. You really can’t go wrong with this place!

Really nice and friendly barista went to another store to get something he needed to make me my perfect cortado. Coming back and recommending. Great coffee and atmosphere as well. Very impressed!

Bellwether! So excited to have you in Park Hill. You, with your coffee… You, with your whiskey… Don’t you know you are speaking all my languages? The Bellwether has a really fantastic interior, well-designed with clean lines and interesting décor. They also have some seriously fantastic coffee, including cold brew. With the levels of cool in this place you might expect less-than-friendly service, but you would be wrong. The people working here are delightful. And they sell clothes. Guys, is this heaven?

This place has gorgeous décor. I love the old motorcycle tanks and oil cans that are decorating the shelves. There is also a full motorcycle that adds to the environment. I came in on a Sunday morning and was able to easily find seating and relax with a good book. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re in a rush and just looking for caffeine since this a place that should be enjoyed.

Bellwether is part coffee shop, part small business clothing store, and part barber shop. I can’t speak too much about the hair cutting side, but I did enjoy their coffee. The ambiance is nice with plenty of bright lighting. They carry local Boxcar Coffee Roasters for all their drinks. I tried their pour over, which was a Colombian bean, very well made and balanced. My friend ordered a cortado, which was also good. If it wasn’t as cold, I would’ve wanted to try their nitrogen cold brew. They also offer alcoholic beverages including whiskey, which fits with their hipster theme. It was the day before Thanksgiving and they had a large setup of food and groceries for the homeless. This is how I imagine a neighborhood coffee shop should be.

Forget Starbucks! Bellwethers coffee is amazing! I showed up one morning with my dogs and ordered a latte to go. Wow, blown away! Great coffee, great ambiance, and location! I’ll be back for more!

This place may be one of my favorite coffee shops in America. I travel a ton and love to find local coffee shops that are doing great & unique things. This is that place in Denver! Granted I have only had the cold brew — which is one of my favorites ever — and I haven’t been to a ton of other coffee places in Denver, but I definitely would be a regular here. And probably even get a membership of I lived here. For now I’ll just have to enjoy it every time I’m in town. The service is great — workers are friendly but not overbearing when you enjoy a drink at the bar. Not at all that judgmental coffee shop vibe that comes at other hipster type places. Atmosphere is amazing. There’s not a ton of space but I’ve only been a few times when it wasn’t overly busy. But it’s perfect for working or just chilling. Feels a bit like you’re hanging at a friends place. Nitrogen cold brew is seriously my favorite I’ve found in America. It’s a bit creamy/thick and can easily be enjoyed without cream or sugar. *Try it with whiskey and I promise you won’t regret it!* Bartender also let me try a bit of the latte when he was making it and it was delicious — full of flavor! If you live in Denver, get to this place!

Straight stars, yo. I’ve been when it’s packed an’ I been when it’s chill– always a solid experience. My fave, though, was that opening night. Homies were rad enough to be givin’ out that free booze, and I pressed my man to pay but he wasn’t havin’ it. I copped some beans, though, so when my man swiveled the iPad around so’s I could pay, I selected that Custom Tip joint and blew it out. Mad Chad wins. My man laughed about it, too, cuz he’s a champ. They’s all champs. She-beaux backs the joint, too. It’s the type of place I can leave her in whilst I skedaddle over to the Marczyk’s wine shop(also an all-star fave) an’ not worry ’bout the boys rappin’. I mean, I couldn’t blame ‘em, right? but I’d def blame ‘em. Nah, Crazy Horse holds it down for my boo, for my booze, and for them Washington state red wine recommendations. He also keeps it steady with some simplicity. A few drinks, a few brands, and a few heads. On some level, I gots’ta think aloud ’bout how a bottle of Bulleitt is $ 25 and a cocktail is $ 10 – 12, but then I reread the above, and am like, «Yeah. Tha’s what’s up.» I mean, it’s why I’d pay these fools even when they’re givin’ it away. Big ups.

With coffee and whiskey and clothes, this place isn’t your typical coffee shop, but the coffee is absolutely amazing. Josh’s enthusiasm for his craft is infectious, and it comes through in the quality of the products. We got a simple iced coffee, and a hot pour over, and were very happy indeed.

Cute new place, but coffee was super burnt for those of us who are picky about it. The décor is well done and the general vibe is happy and low key. As for the burned coffee, will let it settle and then try again. All in all, happy to see a new place move onto East Colfax!

East Colfax was begging for a proper coffee shop. I’m very happy for this addition to the neighborhood. I had a delicious nitro cold brew, tastefully served in a rocks glass.

Awesome new, independent coffee shop that opened in the East Colfax/Park Hill neighborhood. Décor is fantastic, small retail options and most importantly a GREAT cup of coffee. I had a latte and it was beautifully made. Its also not just coffee. There is the whiskey option. I found out they are the first business to have Bullet Rye on tap! Very interesting place, I am definitely going back!
