Interesting pop flavors and AMAZING sandwiches. Good outdoor seating, too. Friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back!

Okay, so I came across their cart on Santa Fe’s Art walk on a first Friday and I must say that the popsicle(non-traditional) of course was actually really good. Okay more like refreshing considering it was I believe Pineapple Tequila(I could be wrong, but it was tequila infused thats for sure). The folks were friendly and put me on the spot to do an impromptu commercial kinda thing haha But any who, gotta try these out! Check em out, no seriously… so go. Thank me later!

This is a wonderful little place. Christopher the owner does a great job he has all kinds of interesting flavored Popsicles. The other day I had cantaloupe tarragon and today I had pineapple vanilla they were both really delicious. I have also tried the tomato black pepper and the Nutella coconut — yummy.

Aiko pops… Amazing! I just moved to the«hood» and walked by one day so I decided to look them up. From what I read I NEEDED to stop in and try the bird sandwich and coconut Nutella Popsicle. The sandwich was incredible and I ended up choosing another flavor as they were out of the one I wanted. Came back with a friend and the owner was in, I mentioned I had been hoping to try a certain flavor, the next time I stopped in he remembered and had them made and on the menu! Everything is awesome here, from personable staff, flavorful sandwiches, and the freshest Popsicles I have ever had!

Hard to give this place anything but a 5. The owner is incredible; made us laugh and made us feel welcome. Took our kids out and helped them ride his long board. Just a great spot. Tons of unique choices; just don’t ask if the strawberry and gin is a good choice for your 9 year old niece(my wife … Smh didn’t put that one together). Bottom line: go and support this place. Legit

As other Unilocal reviews mention, the owner is awesome! We love their Popsicles so much we are having them at our wedding. I had the blueberry mascarpone flavor today and my fiancé has the mango cilantro. Do yourself a favor and go get one! I cannot wait to try their sandwiches.

Wow, this place is great. I stumbled upon it here on Unilocal, and it’s reviews we’re on point, so I made a trip. Not only was the food awesome, the owner, Johnny, could not have been a cooler guy. He clearly has a passion for his shop and it shows in the quality of food and service. He personally checked up on us several times and could not have been more hospitable. In fact, my sister who is vegetarian forgot she wasn’t a big fan of beets and got the veggie sandwich, which had beets. When Johnny saw that she wasn’t 100% enjoying her sandwich– due solely to the beets– he gifted our entire party with complimentary Popsicles– which were soo bomb btw. I mean seriously, why can’t all owners take as much pride in their business as Johnny does with his. This place is amazing, do yourself a favor and go! Now!

AikoPops is my favorite place. The owner and staff are just plain awesome. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you receive. The popsicles are innovative, consistently delicious. And I’m a popsicle connoisseur. The sandwiches, ohhh the sandwiches. Every time I go, they tweak a sandwich — it’s like a special surprise every time I take a trip to Denver(just for AikoPops, usually). Can’t go wrong with The Bird or The Ocean. Oh, and they have pâté de fruit! To die for. I’ve spent hours attempting recipe after recipe, trying to mimic the yummy perfection that AikoPops has mastered. This place is all around a true gem — 12⁄10.

Three things: 1. The owner is stellar. Super friendly. Great personality. One of those people that just knows how to make people smile. You get the picture – he’s awesome. 2. Sandwiches. They are all carefully crafted and so delicious. Every single stinkin’ sandwich. It’s a good thing I don’t live nearby, otherwise I would be eating these sandwiches day and night, but actually, I would be okay with that. 3. Popsicles. They’re super refreshing and tasty. But, we all know that already. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

The only thing I have to say about this place is why haven’t I been here sooner?! Wonderful staff, AMAZING sandwiches, Fresh ingredients… Amazing. I haven’t tried the pops yet but the lunch sandwiches were out of this world! The space itself also has a very welcoming and chill vibe! Check it out.

Went with the Holy Cow and Voo Doo chips. The bread was good and I thought everything in the sandwich went well together. The meal was filling and tasted great. I also had their fresh squeezed juice which hit the spot. I’m going to try the smoked salmon tomorrow

Cute little sandwich shop in the platte park neighborhood. I got the turkey Brussel sprout sandie… It was delicious. The sandwiches are a good portion size. They have Zappa chips and some yummy looking juice drinks. We soaked up the sun on their back patio. Owner was super friendly— we will be back for sure.

People find me weird that I like cold desserts in the winter time, my argument is that I like cold desserts all time and it just happens to be winter right now, and for some reason every time I go Aikopops it happens to be snowing outside. I have had 5 different flavors popsicles and my favorite would be the blackberry balsamic, which is sweet but also tangy. The thing about every popsicle is that, it’s a bit different every time, so just trust the friendly staff, and enjoy!

Aikopops is quite an interesting little sandwich and popsicle shops. First off their food is fantastic. We I had the«Divine Swine» which almost seemed like a take on an Asian pork sandwich. It had some chili sauce on it, but wasn’t too hot. The owner saw me going for the Sriracha and was kind enough to offer me some of his own spicy chili sauce that was quite good. My girlfriend got their grilled cheese and lentil soup. The soup was fantastic, very hot with lots of great flavors. On top of that all of their combos come with«Agua Fresca» which is their water of the day. This time it was a strawberry basil lemonade, yum. The owner is a really nice guy, and definitely aims to please from the second you walk in the door. And their popsicles. We’re proof it doesn’t have to be summer to enjoy a popsicle. They have a lot of interesting combos and we tried the Chocolate Orange and the Blackberry Balsamic. The Blackberry was definitely the better of the two, and the balsamic flavor was definitely identifiable. Some of the other flavors they had that we wanted to try, but didn’t have any room left for were: Coconut Vanilla, Cantalope, Strawberry Balsalmic and about 10 more. I’ll definitely be going back sometime for another sandwich and to try some more of their popsicle flavors.

So far this is my favorite place in the neighborhood. Everything is delicious and the owner is super friendly. If they were open for dinner I would eat here all the time but since it’s not, it’s a nice treat when I make it there.

Aiko Pops is a small hole in the wall excellent FIND! The wonderful sandwiches(hot and cold) are made to order with fresh ingredients. They are creative and consistently delicious. The many flavor combinations of pops are also good as are the jelly treats — yum! Small place with room to sit inside or in the sunny«backyard» when it’s warm. One of the very best places to go on Old South Pearl.

We had lunch here today and 8 of us ate our way through nearly the entire menu. Sandwiches and house made popsicles are an odd combo, but somehow it works here, even in January. Blackberry balsamic popsicle was terrific. Also liked my banh mi-like pork sandwich. It is a tiny shop and very casual. Friendly owner. Got to respect what he is doing here. Give it a try.

Christopher, the owner, takes huge pride in his business, his food, and his clientele! Great food for an awesome price. I had the divine swine bahn mi sandwich and it was fresh and delicious. Every flavor came through beautifully and bright. The sandwich bread was perfectly crusty and soft.

Great tasting sandwiches, they offer a wide variety so there’s a lot to choose from. I’m not too sure but I think they bake their own bread which explains the greatness of it! I had one of their mango-lavender Popsicles and it was delicious! It’s a little out of my way but I shall return in the summer!

Ok. A couple of things. 1. The pops are great. Variety of flavors and very creative and tasty ones. Not your run of the mill Popsicles. These Popsicles remind me of the Mexican style Popsicles that you can find in Mexico sold by a street vendor on a bike with an ice box. 2. We had lunch here and tried four different sandwiches. The were all ok. 3. The food was a little on the pricey side, my opinion. 4. Parking was hard to find. There is no dedicated parking for this place. You’ll need to park down the road in the neighborhood and walk 5. I’ll be back if nothing else for the pops! 6. The owner and service was spectacular! 7. Did I mention the pops are good?

Tiny little place tucked away, you might miss it if GPS wasn’t such a thing. We had two pops here, both were surprisingly really good, helped us beat the winter heat here in Denver. The pops change all the time so we got the apple cinnamon and the aiko berry. The cinnamon was the best, and the berry was a bit sour which is how it should be. There was one guy working and he was friendly and helpful. I could imagine a line out the door for this place in the summer. Definitely try it out!

I was heading to Sushi Den and decided to give this shop a shot. I’m so incredibly glad I did. On my food adventure here from New Mexico, my friend and I stopped by this shop and got the best service we’d received yet. The owner of the establishment was extremely helpful and kind. The food, to be honest(I ordered the Bird), was above average. I think what you rate this place for is the service you receive, and of course the popsicles are nothing short but great themselves. I loved the idea of the restaurant, a cozy, atmospheric place that offers a wide variety of changing popsicles and sandwiches often. I hope this place succeeds and eventually branches out into bigger heights. Good job!

I came in on a Sunday morning and was glad I did. I found it based on a listing of places near where I had lunch a few days prior. Everyone is right about the popsicle offerings. They offer quite a mix up of flavors and while you might say none of them are«classic» flavors, I guarantee that they will have something to spark your interest and your new favorite flavor may or may not be there the next time you return. So I think that helps you move out of your boring zone and try whats new and delicious today. I saw a few of interest however the one that struck me immediately after Christopher(I believe he is the owner and creator of the flavors) mentioned it was the strawberry balsamic pop. It had great flavor and I didn’t regret the decision to have an pre-lunch time frozen treat. I really enjoyed it. Christopher is so warm and welcoming, that If I hadn’t already had a late breakfast, I might have stayed for lunch since he was showing off one of the delicious sandwiches that they offer. I will be back — for lunch and another flavor of popsicle

Having tried a similar place in a hipster neighborhood in San Diego with mixed results, I was weary to try this one. But, what can I say, I’m a sucker for a good popsicle. Unilocal gets it right again! Thanks to all the Unilocal postings, I found this place and decided to give it a try. The popsicles were delicious. We tried that coconut nutella and the blueberry cardamon. Both were very delicious and very different. What was shocking was that the popsicles were so ice cold that they were not even close to melting while we were eating them in 85+ degree weather. I’m always thinking that popsicles are drippy and messy and these surprisingly weren’t. We were also given a sample of tomato basil, which was also unexpectedly delicious. The patio was a great relaxing place to eat the popsicles. $ 3 per pop may seem pricey, but given the unique flavors and care taken in making them, it’s well worth it. The owner is also very kind and genuinely interested in his customers’ satisfaction. Within 2 blocks of the light rail and in a cute walkable neighborhood. Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed.

Yum. This place is a unique little shop that offers incredible popsicles on Pearl. I stopped by around 3:15pm on a Saturday and found plenty of two hour parking along the street(and right in front of the store). When I went in, there were two other people grubbing down on some fantastic looking sandwiches. The popsicle flavors are on a board when you walk in. I tried the coconut Nutella and my sister tried the peach chamomile. The coconut Nutella was not as chocolatey as I had expected, but found the coconut and Nutella to be well balanced as I continued to eat the popsicle. The peach chamomile was very light in flavor and extremely refreshing. The popsicles are each $ 3. Boozey ones are $ 5. The owner was extremely friendly and was really laid back. He’s always working on different flavor combinations, so stop by frequently to try all of them! I know I will. No shame. They also have sandwiches and soups here, which I have yet to try, so I’ll be back soon to try those!

Such a unique popsicle shop in the Denver area! I stopped by on a hot day over the summer and found plenty of two hour street parking around the area. As I walked in, I definitely felt the love with all of the friendly greetings by the staff. There are a ton of different flavor combinations, including some wacky-sounding ones, such as blackberry goat cheese or coconut nutella, that change each day depending on the availability. I was hesitant to try them, but the owners nail it with the balance of the flavors. Each popsicle I tried was delicious and refreshing, even with the unique mix of ingredients. There are new flavors being made every week, so plenty of(good) surprises await with every popsicle. There is also a savory menu that combines a lot of healthy ingredients together that will have to be a must try next time I am there.

First off, the staff and owner are super welcoming. Place isn’t even in my neighborhood, i’ve only visited once, and it still feels like the shop around the corner. They have over 700 different flavors of pops that rotate regularly. So, though they might not have the flavor you love this week, they will have something new(and likely as good if not better). I tried 3 pops, the Coconut Curry, Coconut Nutella, and Blackberry Goat-cheese. All were amazing, but I liked them from best to 3rd best in the order listed. Also had the pulled pork sandwich with mango on a french baguette — My advice: don’t let the food’s delicious flavor overcome your senses and send you into a feeding frenzy. Focus your mind, exercise restraint, and enjoy each bite. Also, get the combo — their fresh juice is awesome.

I’m gonna follow suit with the other reviews and say this place was pretty damn good. I had the smoke pork sandwich with some kind of sweet chutney. It was a perfect harmony of smokey, heat and sweet. My wife had the bird. One of the workers who I presume was the owner said he hasn’t changed this sandwich in a long time. On a side note(the person who I assume was the owner) was super helpful and brought a good energy to the eatery. Lastly the popsicles… I had the vanilla pineapple and it resulted in my mind getting blown. Overall, this felt like a boutique and everything was made just for me. I will be back

Delicious! So unique and what fantastic customer service! Christopher, the owner, is so welcoming and greeted us and everyone else with a warm friendly hello. We each ordered The Divine Swine sandwich combo, an aiko pop and a fruit gummy. Everything was delicious and fresh. I’ve read some of the reviews here on Unilocal which was what brought us here and boy did it live up to its reputation. Definitely try the Coconut Curry Pop. It’s cold and spicy at the same time. We’ll be back and bringing more people with us next time! Thank you for the great experience!

I absolutely love going to Aiko pops! Although they have tons of amazing flavors, I always stick to my all time fave cucumber sesame. It’s super refreshing and the sesame adds a unique twist. The texture of their pops are perfect and not super icy! They also have a cute patio in the back with bright murals on the walls, sidewalk chalk, and games! This spot is becoming a weekly habit for sure!

I stopped in here one sunny afternoon after seeing all the great Unilocal reviews. I had The Ocean sandwich combo. Sandwich, chips & unlimited Aqua Fresca! I needed to get some work done so I sat on the back patio with my laptop. The lady working was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich was delicious and I love that they carry Zapps chips. I can’t wait to try the pops next time I come by! GREAT atmosphere.

Aikopops was one of the first places I added to my «must try» list on a recent trip to Denver. I waited until almost the last day to try this place, but I am so, so glad I stopped by. Upon walking in, you’re immediately greeted by a sweet, attractive lady behind the counter who enthusiastically tells you all about their pops, popular flavors, and helps you decide on a flavor. The pops are lined up behind a glass freezer, pretty and vibrant. Some of their flavors sound a bit whacky, but after trying two pops, I am sure they are damn good. I chose the coconut lychee date, their last one, and the pretty girl starts telling me about how the date in the pop is imported. My friends and I sit down and eat our pops and it is honestly one of the best pops I have ever had. It was bursting with a combination of both lychee and coconut, and the date was somehow soft and melts in your mouth instead of being hard and frozen inside the pop. We chatted with a couple of the employees some more and they told us more about the flavors and the business owner. It’s very clear the employees love their jobs and are passionate about the business and what they sell. Of all the ice cream /popsicle shops I’ve been to, Aikopops definitely tops the ranks. Great job on educating your employees to share in your business model, training them well, and most importantly, producing top-notch products. Anyone who hasn’t tried Aikopops is missing out!
