I was going to purchase a refrigerator from these guys until I saw all the negative claims against them with the BBB. Inform yourself before you do business with these people. They have also began calling themselves«Appliance Center»

Don’t ever by an appliance from here! I purchased a used Jenn-Air refrigerator. At the store I asked the sales person if everything worked(water dispenser, ice maker, front door controls, etc). He said yes, everything worked perfectly. I had it delivered and after plugging it in I found out that none of the controls worked. When I tried to use the front water displenser the unit would leak water on the floor. I called them back and the same sales guy had me look at the back of the unit where the water line connected to the base of the unit. I am no refrigerator expert, but I could clearly see that two peices were broken. It was obvious just by looking at it. The sales person came out the next day with parts and fixed it. I was not home when he came to fix the water line, my front attendant let him in. I had not yet pushed the refrigerator into it’s alcove yet because I wanted to make sure they had room to get behind it. My building was brand new, I had just moved in that week, and I didn’t want to scratch the hardwood floors. When I arrived home I tried the water dispenser and I now had water working. I tried the ice machine and nothing came out. I assumed it was because there was no ice yet. I went to move the unit back into it’s alcove and I saw mutliple scratches in my brand new hardwood floors under the unit. I called A Plus Appliance Inc. back and asked to speak to the owner. I told him I moved the refrigerator and saw a number of scratches on brand new floors in a bulding that had not been lived in for more than a week. This was obviously caused by them. He told me the scratches were already there when they arrived. He also said they never moved the refrigerator. I had to move the refrigerator when I got home to see the scratches so I’m not sure how he could claim to have seen them and yet not have moved the unit. I asked for my money back and for them to come pick up the unit and take it back. He refused. My ice maker never worked. In fact, the water dispensor is the only control that works. I had someone come out to look at the icemaker issue and I’m shown that it’s completely busted. The motor isn’t even connected to the dispensor coil. Again, it was plain to see just by removing the ice container. I asked prior to purchase if everything was working and I was told it was 100%. Yet nothing works and now I have $ 2000 in hardwood damages.
