Got an amp from these guys a few months ago that’s had multiple problems. I did a trade that was over the top fair on their end and all in all prob put in $ 150 dollars more worth of gear than I had to. Oh well price of saving cash. I would take it back to them but I honestly don’t trust them and they were more or less rude when I got the amp. I’ll be forking out more cash as sky guitars as those guys are amazing and actually nice to their customers. There’s one dude with long hair who is very nice at this shop but if you speak with anyone else prepare to feel small. If you buy an amp here play it for an hour before leaving but make sure you have some sabbath riffs up your sleeve or these dudes will not be impressed.

They are okay. They are not real quick though at returning positive feedback. I’ll probably shop here again though.

Been in here a few times but will never go back. The two young guys that are usually here are absolute jerks. I dont understand why you would want to treat a customer who comes into your store, who is there willing to spend hundreds of dollars on an instrument, so poorly. The gun guy is totally unfit to be talking about musical instruments and knows nothing about them. Try and learn how to treat customers properly.

If you are looking for upscale instruments and gear, check it out but I think you’ll probably end up looking elsewhere. Lots of cheap Korean instruments and very little accessories. Might be the place to look for a cheap guitar for a beginner. It’s more of a pawn shop than a music store.

Glen’s moved after the fire in the early 90’s, leaving McBride’s the last pawn shop on the square. They’re been here forever and the great quantity of stuff just keeps accumulating, like rings on a tree. Large musical instrument selection, new and used, tools, TVs, a fair wall of guns and the occasional interesting firearm. If you are looking for something in specific they’ve got quite a bit of stuff in storage. They also come up with the strangest treasures, I think a peddle steel guitar is the most unique thing I’ve seen here. They might deal, it depends on how cranky the staff is. Everyone that works here has been here forever.
