Great hot fudge sundae! But only get one if its not busy there, they won’t give you one in the glass bowl if it is.

By far the best ice cream on the Cape, in my opinion. Their hot fudge is delicious and the homemade whipped cream is equally tasty. My favorite flavors are grasshopper, raz Oreo, and shark’s tooth. If you’re in the mood for ice cream, don’t skip Sundae School!

This place came highly recommended to us, which is saying a lot since there are ice cream shops on every corner of Cape Cod. The atmosphere was quaint and the ice cream descent, though it was nothing special, and a bit pricey for a small sundae.

Delicious home made ice cream. A very good amount of options. Many flavors and toppings. The fresh home made whipped cream is very rich. They don’t skimp. Great customer service.

What a nice place. Very very homey and seems like a kitchen inside. The chocolate covered cone was to die for!!! Thank god there weren’t so so so many options to pick from. Made selecting flavored easy… You can mix flavors. Also, the serving size is huge. I wanted three scoops at first and had to ask for just two after seeing how big one scoop was… Nom nom nom… Outside seating!!! Much like going on a picknic. Definitely take a break from driving around the beautiful neighborhoods and grab a delicious scoop/s of ice cream!!!

When I was visiting the cape I went out of my way to try sundae school based on the rave reviews they have on Unilocal.Once I arrived I was surprised that the parking lot was packed and they even had parking attendants. The line outside looked overwhelming but we went inside and only waited for a minute before it was our turn. We asked to try several samples and the young lady who helped us was very patient and did not make us feel rushed. They had a 4 scoop sampler which we settled on so we could try multiple flavors. I was on a diet so I only wanted to get frozen yogurt. We got grapenut yogurt, coffee Oreo yogurt, coconut yogurt and could not agree on a fourth yogurt so we also got a scoop of sharks tooth. Each scoop was a pretty decent size and it cost us around $ 6. Sharks tooth was the only flavor I had not sampled and I was honestly a little disappointed. My favorite flavor was by far the grapenut yogurt. I noticed a big difference in the textures of the yogurts and the ice cream. The ice cream was way creamier and the yogurts were on the icy side but still good. Inside the shop was very cute and looked like an old school ice cream parkour. The ice cream and frozen yogurt were good but no where near the best I’ve ever had. Most importantly, I did not gain weight eating at sundae school so that made me very happy.

The use of a real cherry and non canned whipped cream on the sundae is very good. The ice cream is good. The fudge was very good. Overall the ice cream did not match the hype

My family loved this place. Go for a sundae or a banana split. The ice cream is great, but the toppings(especially the hot fudge) are heavenly. The service here is excellent. They are very friendly and move the line along quickly. The atmosphere is cool. The place looks like an old barn and they have cool vintage items like a player piano that still works. Parking lot is small and it can get full on a hot summer night.

This is one very well organized establishment. On this very hot humid day I was very impressed that they had first parking attendants that moved visitors to a space, then they had so many employee to serve you. It took us longer to decide on the flavor then actually waiting in line. The employees were very patient and pleasant to customers. Ours allowed many samples. There is outside widow and inside with very nice area to seat. We had a very pleasant time pigging out on the forbidden food«ice cream». But I need to go back real soon to do more sin!

Best ice cream we had on the Cape, and that’s saying something! Sundae was incredible! Hot fudge was to die for, hand-whipped cream was super rich, homemade ice cream was unique and delicious and the fresh real cherry on top was a nice touch. Favorite flavor: bass river mud Least favorite: shark’s tooth(too many white chocolate chips) Best part was the glass dishes the ice cream is served in, make sure to go inside to get those. Décor inside is fun too.

There are many ice cream shops on the Cape, and if you’re in the area this is a good choice! I went with my family on a Friday night and it was packed. The ice cream was very good, but here are few things to note: the parking lot was a disaster. There was even a cop there to direct traffic. They definitely need another lot. Also, they only take cash, which is very inconvenient I ordered Oreo ice cream in a wafer cone and it was fresh, sweet and delicious. Wait service: The guy at the window was very friendly, fast, and efficient. He knew the specialty flavors right off the top of his head. Food quality: Again, I really enjoyed the ice cream! It was creamy, but honestly nothing too special. The cone was clearly not homemade, but it wasn’t bad. You could tell the ice cream was fresh and homemade. The proportion was on point. Wait time: about 15 minutes in line, I would say. It was extremely busy and they did a good job getting through such a big line quickly and efficiently. Once we ordered, our ice cream came out fast. The shop had two windows to order from outside and a big inside area too. This made the wait much shorter. Atmosphere: The parlor was cute and quaint. It resembled an old schoolhouse, which was cute and creative. The décor was nice. They really captured the theme. For more reviews check out,

Went to Sundae School on a Friday night. The ice cream here is good. The lines are insane and there was a police officer directing traffic. It takes a while to park. With that being said, the lines move quickly and you will get your ice cream before you know it. You can wait in outside lines or an inside line. They take cash only, but there is an ATM. Plenty of seating including benches and tables. Nice atmosphere for a family! Staff is very efficient and helpful. Ice cream to me was good but not amazing. I did not order the famous sundae however, so the sundae might be more delectable! Wait service– Staff was extremely helpful and attentive to their customers! Food quality– Ice cream was good, portions were good. Wait time– The lines do move, it goes by quicker than you think and it’s all for good ice cream! Worth the wait. Atmosphere– Great atmosphere for all ages. Seating is abundant.

Really enjoyed this place, aside from how insanely busy they are. Loved the old piano playing and old feel of the place. The sundaes were yummy and lines moved fast due to their smart assembly line setup.

Really nothing exceptional at Sundae School Ice Cream, except small portions and crazy lines with disorganized staff. My group’s ice cream wasn’t very good, it was expensive, and it seems they’re riding on their reputation to succeed. I recommend trying something different next time you’re in Dennis and craving ice cream.

This is, without a doubt, some of the best ice cream on the Cape if not the very best period. I was honestly blown away by everything here. The ice cream itself was super creamy and awesomely rich. I had vanilla and oreo crunch and both rocked. As everyone attests, the hot fudge here is absolutely outstanding. It was seriously some of the best hot fudge I have ever had. The whipped cream is also made fresh in big metal bowls and is ladled onto your sundae, which is a very nice touch as is the fact they top sundaes with a fresh cherry rather than a maraschino cherry. I really just have to say that the sundae here is pretty much one of the the best I have ever had in my entire life and I honestly can not wait to come back here next time I am on the Cape. Wow.

Aside from ambiance and nostalgia, nothing stood out with this local ice cream place. Flavors were standard and expected, milkshake was disappointing and the pricing was atrocious. We topped $ 40 for three small ice cream cones, two standard hot fudge sundaes and one milkshake. The ordering process is hectic, you order and the person tells you to go to the register but they disappear and you have to wait for them to cash you out. It’s rather bizarre because a dozen other families are ordering and paying too. With the amount of ice cream shops littering the Cape I’m confident you can find another spot with less traffic, cheaper pricing with the same if not higher level of satisfaction. Should be a 2, but the team directing traffic and fresh cherry were a nice touch.

So good! During the summer it’s always packed and sometimes difficult to find a parking spot. If you come during peak hours. Expect there to be a little bit of a wait. If you go inside, you can sample flavors. I love fruity ice creams, so i got a medium with one scoop strawberry and one scoop black raspberry. Very delish. The strawberry was probably the creamiest I’ve ever had. Don’t expect huge scoops so it is probably a little more expensive. But worth it! I think the small is $ 3.70 and the medium is around $ 4.50? I haven’t tried any other ice cream places on the cape so I might be biased to sundae school… But so many people come here and it’s so good!!! And who doesn’t like ice cream?

Sundae School still delivers ice cream bliss after all of these years!!! What more can I say? Go for yourself and find out! My family has been coming here for about 40 years, and it is still among the best ice cream I have had anywhere. And I am a man who loves his ice cream. The old player piano is still there, most of the same tin signs are up as well, and every year they manage to find competent summer help. The candy store was closed when I visited, which was in the afternoon, but then again tourist season is not in full swing yet. The parking lot is the same as it ever was, which I imagine means it still overflows and turns into complete chaos on nice summer evenings. I would imagine it would be wise if they expanded the parking someday, if possible.

This is one school you’ll really want to go to! Don’t skip it! Sundae School is undoubtedly the best of the best for ice cream on the Cape. This shop is set apart from the many ice cream places all over the Cape with its outstanding homemade ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, and frappes as well as its superb service! My family and I walked into a cool, comfortable, and fun atmosphere, and ordered a thick coffee frappé; a hot fudge sundae with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, and whipped cream; and a watermelon sherbet. We decided to sit inside, where there is ample seating with many tables and a handful of booths, to dive into our treats.(You can also enjoy your treats outside on picnic tables, near the antique ice cream truck!) The ice cream is supreme! It is perfect in texture and taste in every way. We tried a few of their unique flavors, one being Shark Teeth and the classic Coffee. Shark Teeth was black raspberry ice cream with white chocolate chips; it was so, so good! My preference for best flavor hands-down, however – Coffee! It is AMAZING! Perfect and not overwhelming, no after-taste; perfect! Sundae School is perfectly named, as excellent hot fudge sundaes are served up here. The fudge – homemade – was like a river running through the tasty vanilla ice cream; it was smooth and perfect in sweetness. The homemade whipped cream was fresh, thick, and just as perfect in sweetness. To top it all off – a fresh cherry [Bing]!! The sundaes here are definitely something to try. Patron after patron was walking toward their tables with huge hot fudge sundaes, in many different versions with different toppings but all with the same spectacular hot fudge and whipped cream. A crucial piece of advice: try a thick coffee frappé. It is outstandingly delicious! It is the best I have ever had. The server that made it did so perfectly – not too thick, where a straw is useless, and not too milky. It was the perfect consistency, the perfect proportion of ice cream to milk. And again, with Sundae School’s perfect Coffee ice cream, it was excellent in flavor. You will definitely be back for another frappé once you taste the ones served up here! I would go back every day to have one if I could! The staff at Sundae School is just as fantastic as the treats it scoops. The server that made our treats was extremely kind and personable, letting us take our time when tasting our samples and explaining to us the flavors.(She also made the best frappé I’ve ever had!!) The entire staff was just as nice and extremely efficient! They know how to keep the line that forms through this place moving, serving up delicious treats and making every patron supremely happy. They make sure everything stays clean and in top shape in between scooping. They are all really hard-workers and shine like the ice cream. For truly delicious and great ice cream – at extremely reasonable prices for the top quality and large portions you receive – and wonderful service, visit Sundae School. Another crucial piece of advice: go to Sundae School now! You definitely will not be disappointed, no matter your choice if it’s a sundae or a frappé.
