Spent 4 days here with the family. Overall, I would come back. It’s an older Hampton but was very clean, and staff was friendly. The hotel is right on the beach– so is nice to be able to come and go all day from your room. Beach chairs/umbrellas are available to rent, or you can bring your own.(Be aware that Daytona allows cars to drive on the beach– so plan for that. They drive slow, but can be distracting) The hotel has free breakfast, as all Hamptons do, and this was on par with others– eggs/cereal/yogurt/fruit/make your own waffles, etc. They also had free coffee available 24/7, which was a nice perk. We had an ocean view room– but if I had to do it again, I would make sure to request 4th floor or higher. The rooms face the water, but you still have the parking lot and pool right there– which detracts from the view. A few notes– Elevators are small– and there are just two, so sometimes might have to wait a minute or two. Also, hot tub is incredibly small. More that 4 adults and it’s just awkwardly close. Lastly, parking lot is small– and overflow parking is across the street. Big vehicles or «parking challenged» individuals might have issue with this.

WARNING: As of November 6, 2015 this hotel is undergoing structural construction on the balconies. It can be extremely noisy when the work is going on. There was a warning about this on the reservation screen, which disclosed a potential for noise Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm. However, please understand it is more than noise — we found it unbearable. Even worse, the work was scheduled to continue on Saturday, despite what the website disclosed. We checked-out not long after checking-in. The hotel is probably fine, but I would avoid it until you are certain this work has been completed.

Minimal parking. Overflow parking a block away«next to the dumpsters» at a Denny’s. King bedrooms are all next to elevators. Old loud air conditioners. Stained dingy carpets. Miserable front desk staff.

Let me start off by telling you the good: the staff is excellent and were more than accommodating during check-in. The bed was clean with new sheets and they even wash the duvet cover after every guest. This hotel is right on the beach and if you request ocean side sleep with the balcony door open — you will be able to hear the Ocean all night. The complimentary breakfast was average. It had a waffle maker and very good coffee. So now the bad: even though our room was clean it smelled like wet dog. I am certain the guests before us had pets because the smell was so strong. Thankfully I had a candle in my car and left it lit the whole stay. It still didn’t get rid of the smell. The bathrooms are not nice — the counter was stained yellow and just seemed very used. Parking is limited, we had to park across the highway — but it was still free. Not the best location if you want to be close to downtown or entertainment. There wasn’t much happening on the south side and this was during Spring Break.

The location is good. Coffee is available all day. Breakfast is good. The pool area is very small. The lounge chairs take up the entire pool deck. The room was clean. They would not allow us to take our race bike up to the room, which was incredibly annoying. We were carrying it when we entered and the receptionist said it wasn’t allowed. If you are a triathlon racer this is not the place for you, unless you like to store your bike in a non air conditioned room over night. Also, be prepared for them to photocopy your divers license AND your credit card for your file.

THISPLACEISAWESOME! Not really sure what you could say is wrong with this place… maybe if u live a papered life and are accustomed to staying in 5star hotels but this place is more then accommodating. Lets start with location… ONTHEBEACH… Parking is shitty though. Rooms are super clean and have comfortable beds/pillows They have in the bathrooms a elephant made of folded towels… lol awesome The breakfast downstairs is amazing and changes every morning… waffles are super good and they have fresh coffee all day with real creamer vanilla and hazelnut along with half in half. Now lets talk about service… Donna, Malisha, John and all the other ladies downstairs doing breakfast made us feel like we were staying at my mommas house. They where more then friendly and more then helpful. I cant believe how wonderful all of them went out of their ways to treat us like family. If i was ever to return here i am staying at this hotel. Only things i didnt like was how small the hottub was… other then that there was no parking and construction going on downstairs. Thats all i could complain about if i was to try

Sales director was super nice and even sent a personalized email to ensure we had the correct package. Parking lot was fairly small, but they offered additional parking across the street.

Typical Daytona Beach hotel. Run down from years of partyers. Very limited parking. But, decent hotel. Nice, personal balconies. Right on the beach. Outdoor pool. Be careful if you are bringing an oversized vehicle… they will put you in a cramped, small lot a few blocks away.
