went there on a Friday night at 7:30, the place was about 1⁄3 full. was seated in a section with 2 other tables occupied. We sat for 10 minuets before getting up and leaving. We were never acknoledged by the waitress in that section; she helped the other 2 tables while we sat there. Didn’t see any other employees when we left. Don’t waste your time there, it has bad reviews on the website for that location.

Great coleslaw and extremely fast service. The place was clean and I was greeted by quite a few servers. The food had great flavor and the price was reasonable. Try their strawberry lemonade. Don’t forget to get a slice of pie for dessert.

This is probably the best Bob Evans I’ve been to so far. Still, most of the younger servers are a notch below average.(This has held true for every Bob Evans I’ve been to.) They seem like they are lacking basic customer service skills. I was warmly greeted by one server who was standing behind the front counter when I walked in. I noticed he was the only one smiling and greeting people. …I appreciated that. None of his other associates had that initiative. He should be recognized.

Great Midwestern tradition. Born in Rio Grande, Ohio been coming here all my life. This particular locale has great coffee great service and you don’t get in the door before the lovely Judy gives a warm hello and makes me feel I’m at home. Bob would be proud.

It was weird coming to a town that had so many Bob Evans restaurant locations, from a town that only had one or two. We also said«Dayton must really do Bob Evans right!» We met with some friends for brunch today here(our first Dayton Bob Evans experience), and we were pretty disappointed. Our waitress, while very sweet, was just off her game. Came to take our orders and we weren’t quite ready yet; she came back within 2 minutes, and we still weren’t ready and she just kind of hovered near our table waiting for us to be ready. The menu is quite extensive and I felt rushed and pressured to make up my mind without even really seeing my options. Anyway, we ordered our food, and when it came out, none of us had silverware. Had to wait for her to return to our table to get some. There was also no syrup on the table. There were four of us adults and two kids and all of our food was brought out at different times and several items were forgotten and we had to remind her to bring them out. I had a mini-sampler breakfast entrée, and my plate was embarrassing. There was more empty space on my plate than there was food. My scrambled egg looked like it had been chopped up with a carving knife and dumped on my plate. It was dry, but edible. The bacon was great, and my pancakes were just okay. I felt like I could have made a better breakfast for myself at home for a lot less. We asked her at the very beginning to split the check, and that our family was on one check and the other was on a separate check. Not really surprisingly, everything was on one check when she brought it to us. When we went to pay, it took FOREVER. I don’t know what the holdup was, but by that time I was really ready to get out of there. Very disappointed in the overall dining experience at this Bob Evans location.
