Great place for kids’ haircuts! I bring my 2.5 year old daughter here, and she loves it. Kiki cuts my daughter’s hair, and she does a great job! They have little TVs to watch. They also have toy prizes after the haircut.

Definitely come on a weekday because we were in and out of there! Very cute and colorful Salon that definitely caters to the little ones. The lady that cut my sons hair was fast and did a good job for his trim. Only con was that she reaked like smoke and wasn’t very personable.

If you have a difficult child who freaks at the thought of a cut, this place is fine. I gave three stars simply because there isn’t another place like it this close to East Dallas. But it is dirtier than its competitors in Preston Hollow and Richardson, and the cut itself was nothing special.

If you make an appointment, this place is great. There’s enough to distract them for a peaceful haircut and the kids want to come back. Bonus. Without an appointment, this place is a nightmare.

I have twice on two separate occasions had to tell the Snip Its employee to stop cutting my daughter’s hair because it was so uneven and she just kept cutting — much more length than I asked. She didn’t even comb out all the tangles before she started cutting in one instance. When I pointed it out she rudely told me, «I’ll even it out at the end, I know what I am doing.» I’m tired of taking my daughter to another place after leaving Snip Its to get her bad uneven haircuts fixed. I’ll save my $ 17.

My kid loves getting haircuts and it is b/​c of this place. We took him here for his first cut, and he was never scared and have been back for every cut since. The employees are great with kids and the dum-​dums are a bonus. Other than having to wait at times, this is a great place to get your kid’s hair cut with little trama.

There aren’t a lot of options when choosing a kid friendly place to get ones hairs cut. I definitely like Cool Cuts and some other places better than this place.
The employees were nice, and the shop does have all these TV’s, but no movies or shows. They are all tuned to animated commercials for Snip Its. Weak… and in addition it is pretty pricey. Doubt I will make it back to this place…
