Ordered carrot/kale on1/27/16 at 5:30pm. As I saw the woman prepare the smoothie she pumped nothing but water into the smoothie, bad looking bananas, and a scoop of a kale/carrot mix(very little kale/carrots), more water, and several scoops of vanilla powder. Never did she put in orange juice or apple juice. When if it had oj and apple juice, she said yes. I gave the the benefit of the doubt. Terrible smoothie, made my stomach ache almost immediately. I ended throwing it away. I watched this lady make smoothie for other people from a different vantage point and over and over nothing but water. These people are ripped people off and providing hazardous food to patrons. Stay away.

Crappy attitude of staff on 11⁄12 at 6:30 pm. Smoothie is close to a milk shake. Yogurt, milk, all stuff part of a smoothie. When asked to combine for a shake(customer service comes to play here), half disturbed employee repeats only in cone or cup… What the heck is a smoothie? Went over to Jamba Juice instead. So much for giving a different place a chance.

I am not sure why people who visited this smoothie king are whining yes I said whining! Okay so smoothie king is expensive it doesn’t matter whether or not you visit one in an airport or out on the town it’s going to cost a lot. However some of you showed you know nothing about smoothie king I got a 32 ounce and paid 8 dollars for it, newsflash that’s normal price! I had a skinny pineapple surf I was actually really happy to see this place it’s been a hot minutes since I have indulged in some smoothie king! If you like smoothies I would strongly recommend the skinny pineapple surf Yes the menu Is a tad smaller but it’s a smaller space they still have all the basics and the prices are the same here as they would be anywhere else. This is not a bad place to grab breakfast at DFW

So I went to the Smoothie King in DFW terminal D-22. I wanted a shake but something somewhat healthy. The lady tried to put really over ripened bananas that look like they’re close to rotten. I stopped her and she got upset. I told the cashier(Yoseff) that I did not want bananas in the smoothie because I didn’t like how it looked. He proceed to tell me that bananas is included. I said okay, I just don’t want them because they don’t look good. The lady butt in and decided to lecture me on how bananas look after sitting for awhile. The bananas were dark in color and looked gross. I blurted out«I can get a banana from Dunkin Donuts(referring and pointing to the stand). The cashier seem understanding and ask her to use a new banana. She hesitated. The cashier(Yoseff) walked away from the cash register and placed the new banana in the blender and made my smoothie himself. He was very nice and understanding about the banana issue. There was no one else in line behind me. The lady proceed to keep talking about how busy it is and that’s why the bananas are pre cut and placed in the container(sitting for God knows how long). I understand and know how bananas are and that’s why I attempted to purchase a fresh one off the stand. I was not mean. I just didn’t want those grossed looking bananas in my smoothie. I think my bluntness offended them. I purchase the«Lean1» and it’s delicious. It’s chocolate flavored(chocolate protein, almonds, and a banana). It taste fatty but you know it’s healthy and that’s what I wanted. Will definitely return. :)

This place has an abbreviated menu and is twice a much as a regular Smoothie King. How do airports get away with this and expect it to be okay?

The absolute worst experience I’ve had at a smoothie stand. This is a transient location which doubles as a Dunkin Donuts /Red Mango. Customer loyalty isn’t a thing, I get it. But here’s an example of a business which doesn’t even have a basic level of customer service. Save yourself the trouble and grab a bottled smoothie at the convenience store instead. Less hassle and similar nutritional content as these juices made from concentrate.

The signage here leads one to believe this is a healthy smoothie stand, which is a refreshing find considering the immediate neighbors include a taco bell. The drinks are even categorized by the type of healthy result one should expect. Perk up, muscle down, flush out, etc. So you can imagine my surprise when the blueberry smoothie I ordered was bulked out with a generous dollop of bananas and pumped full of bright purple, synthetic, berry-flavored syrup. Had I not already paid, I would have walked away. The result was a sickeningly sweet chemical cocktail. Once I had the drink in hand, I spotted a tiny placard featuring smoothies with kale, carrots, and other healthy ingredients. Funny these weren’t more prominently displayed. Maybe they haven’t quite perfected kale syrup yet.
