Saucy’s Panang Curry is amazing! It’s so good that I keep ordering it instead of trying something else. I always get it with chicken and their soup. It’s a really good combination. You can get it with white or brown rice, I think it’s a little better with white rice. I have only been here for lunch, it can get a bit crowded towards the end of the week but we haven’t had to wait. The service is good too and you rarely have to wait to get your food.

Food is really good. Get the spicy peanut dish and their fresh spring rolls are very good. Their peanut sauce is amazing. Their service is why I only rated this place a 4 star. Their service is average at best.

Awesome little hole-in-wall with fantastic food, both dine-in and carry-out. The yellow curry and the pad Thai are both incredible and weekly staples. Grab a handful of Jelly Bellies from the dish on the way out and just know that you’ll be back. Friendly staff, quick service — GOTOSAUCY’S.

I really like this place. Food is always good. I don’t venture out from the Spicy Noodle and Spicy Basil Entrées, but when I’ve tried other things they have a good flavor. This is no Golden 5 Star restaurant and snobby or expensive, it’s a good 5 star restaurant and as close as you can get to a hole in the wall restaurant w/out being a hole in the wall restaurant. Establishment is old, but it’s nice.

I really wanted to like this place. The soup we started with tasted good, but that was as far as we got before I saw a roach crawling up the wall. Sorry. No can do. We made our apologies and got out of there fast. Maybe if they clear out the pest problem we might try again.

I ate here last weekend while on a weekend getaway with my husband. WOW! So delicious. I got the pineapple curry, and the waiter asked how hot I wanted it from 1 – 5. I asked for 3, and was not let down. My husband got a fried rice dish that he loved. The place was packed with people, and individuals were coming in every 5 minutes to pick up to-go orders. My only complaint was that the waiter misunderstood our dessert order and brought us the wrong one, but it was still good. I wish I lived nearby, because I’d make a trip there regularly.

I lived in Thailand for six months so I’d like to think I know good Thai food! This is probably some of the better Thai food you’ll find in Dallas, though not the absolute best. I love the curries and sticky rice. It’s also the only stateside restaurant I’ve been to that serves Khao Soi(northern-style noodles) which is delicious and really does rival the original dish I ate in Thailand. My biggest complaint is that the dishes are really not that spicy; mild/medium levels have basically no detectable spice, and the extra chili flakes I asked for on the side were strange and not that spicy at all. Still, love Saucy’s and my friends and I always visit for the delicious food and kind employees when we get together in Dallas.

Lets start with customer service… HORRIBLE, CRAPY, The WORST! If i could remember that taller, piss poor attitude, no english speakin women’s name i would blast her rite now. I came for lunch 2 days ago and had the wings papaya salad and green curry… My one star goes to the green curry, flavor was good but the spice was def not the five stars the waitress rolled her eyes at me when i sayed five stars. As a chef I would never recommend nor come back to this restaurant.

Quaint and clean place with friendly, but a bit hard to understand, staff. The food was delicious and came out quickly. Not too spicy for Thai food, nor did you have the option of picking your spice level but tasty. Price is very appropriate for their portions. However, trying to get into this location really requires some patience and NASCAR abilities.

I’ve been here a couple times now with friends, so I’ve tried a good 6 – 7 items on the menu(mainly appetizers), but neither my friends nor I have any complaints. We even ordered on Unilocal, and the food was ready for pickup within 10 – 15 minutes. I have to give my highest praise to the Yellow Curry and the Spring Rolls. The sauces they use are incredibly flavorful, although I have noticed they lean toward the sweeter side, but that wasn’t an issue for me. Will definitely be back often for more!

Stopped by on a slow Sunday evening since I was in the neighborhood, plus the reviews were pretty good. Ordered Panang Curry with shrimp level 4 — gotta have the spice! Let’s just say I’m familiar with the N. Dallas Thai spots and keep a tight rotation of 3(Thai Star, Thai Orchid, & Derice). Now I’m adding Saucy’s to this group. The curry was rich, creamy, and different than the other places I frequent. I can’t put my finger exactly on what but the flavor was outstanding. I’ll come back to try a few other dishes but truly they had me at my first spoonful. Note: Service was extremely slow(only 10 people dining in the restaurant) Also, I had to ask for a water refill and chopsticks(which were the disposable kind — say what??!).

Saucy’s is great! The two times I have visited, the food was fresh and delicious. This quaint little restaurant tucked away in the Preston Royal shopping center is definitely one of the better Thai places I have visited. I love their phở, although the other Thai dishes are also tasty, like the red curry.

The food is fine from what I recall. I guess we’ll see tonight if I get my order. I like that they have both phở and Thai so you have variety. It’s incredibly frustrating they don’t answer their phones. This has been an ongoing issue for me. Ordering on their website is fine, in theory, except they don’t have phở listed(at least not as of 6pm today which is odd since phở is actually in the restaurants name) so because I wanted to order phở, I had to place the order through Unilocal(where inexplicably phở was listed) but I have no way to confirm they’ve received the order and no way to find out what the delivery window will be since I can’t get ahold of anyone. Aggravating and poor customer service. Update: the driver didn’t actually complete the delivery. He called and told him I had to meet him at the corner to pick up the food. Sooooo glad we tipped 20% :/

A bit expensive compared to other Thai places but the tom kha soup and red curry was suprisingly good. The beef for my curry was tender, which was nice because a lot of sliced beef always turns dry once it’s been stir-fried or wok’d, as I like to call it. Bonus points for the vegetables still being crisp from the drove home and not turning into mush. I ordered a 5 spicy and it wasn’t crazy hot but it made me sweat a little. Also, the woman who took my order was patient when I asked her about one of her items and seemed friendly. I would revisit to try their version of the phở.

This place has a vast selection on their menu. I hate that I keep having to remind myself to give my preferred level of hotness because some places like these don’t ask you. The crab and cream cheese Fried wontons are small but cute in appearance and are actually pretty good with not too much of one ingredient over another. We had the spicy noodles with chicken but they were anything but spicy. The noodles were cooked well and had great texture and the sauce was flavorful with onions and carrots and they didn’t skimp on the chicken which was nice. The inside is spacious and clean. It’s not an «absolute must» to return to but it’s a nice place if you’re in the area to grab a bite of Thai.

It was during a snow day in Texas and not many restaurants were open. I was glad that this place was open. I got a wonton soup for a very cold night and it was comforting and I liked the broth. The chicken pineapple curry was decent. It did have a coconut flavor and a sweet taste. I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve had. The egg rolls are ok, it seemed to be to dry in the inside. I didn’t like so much of the sweet and sour chicken dish. It wasn’t anything spectacular. It is a nice atmosphere inside.

We really really wanted to go to Royal China but the wait was too long for lunch so my review may be skewed. Everything was too… um…saucy for thai food. I ordered a pad thai and it was stickier? than I’m used to. Their crab rangoons were cute and not bad. Staff, on the other hand, were nice. Unfortunately will not be back because of the pad thai.

It took me a while to figure out how I could write this review without being too harsh. I’m aware that Unilocal reviews are monitored by the owner of the restaurant, so here are my thoughts. The Tom Yum soup is very delicious and the portion serving for the bowl is generously large. Two people could eat from the same bowl. The larb gai is ridiculously overpriced for the portions they serve. Most Thai restaurants serve Larb as an appetizer ranging from $ 7-$ 8.00, but at Saucy’s it’s $ 12.95 That’s absurd! One last thing… If you’re eating at the restaurant and want your food to go, make sure you pack the meal yourself. Do not let anyone under any circumstances pack the food for you. Our table had a male server that packed our meal with our trust and by the time we got home we realized half our food was missing! Why pack our food in those tiny foam rice containers? We hardly ate anything! Where did the rest of it go? How did you pour a large bowl of soup into a tiny sized container? Did you throw the rest of it away? There is something very unethical about that, and it’s been disturbing me for days. I highly doubt I’ll ever eat here again in the future.

I’ve ordered delivery here many times because I’m lazy and don’t feel like driving 8 minutes down the road. In addition, I’m a crazy and indecisive female, so ordering from a place that has different kinds of Asian cuisine makes me happy. I can have my bun thit nuong plus krapao and eat them too. The Vietnamese food is obviously not the real deal, but ’tis the price I pay for not wanting to get out of my pajamas at 5pm. Their Thai food is as ordinary as any Thai restaurant here because most of them are Americanized anyway. It’s nothing chili flakes can’t fix. To complete my laziness, I don’t even call them to order. They have an option on their website to order online! The internet rocks and I hate talking to people! Take it a step further and just order from a food app you can get on your phone. Easy peasy my friend. Delivery is around 30 – 40 minutes and they pack you some sriracha, chili oil/flakes, and oyster sauce so you don’t have to dig into your own stash. LOOOOVVVEE!
